A work trip/vacation to Washington D.C. This city is a foodie town! Highlights include L'ardente, The Vue, and Old Ebbitt Grill across from the White House. We each had incredible meals on this trip.

We celebrated Katrina's birthday at a "new-to-us" restaurant. Allora in east Sacramento is a Michelin recognized, modern Italian, prix fixed menu restaurant with beautiful ambience and amazing service. Great spot for special occasions!

A new breakfast/brunch location that just opened up a few months ago. They describe themselves as European fusion. "A place where food, design, and ambiance come together."

A family vacation to Disneyland that we attempted to turn into a foodie tour! Lucky for us, the Food & Wine Festival 2025 was taking place at California Adventures. What a magical weekend!

A local favorite for a reason! La Fornaretta is a 3rd generation family owned Sicilian restaurant specializing in family recipes that have been passed down. It doesn't get much more "family owned" than this!

We took a 14 day cruise around the Caribbean. 8 ports, 5 sea days, and lots of rum punches! Way too much to talk about but here are some of our foodie highlights. Enjoy!

Make your way to Waymaker Brewing. This is a taphouse with 50 beers on tap, a golf simulator, and a sushi bar. Some seating just to watch the games too. Great spot for the guys!

In the heart of Roseville is a classic pizza parlor. Old Town Pizza has all your tradition pizza pies plus an array of specialty pizzas. Our favorite is The Conductor! Choo Choo!! Go check out one of their locations and grab a beer while you're there.

A staple of the local Roseville community. Packed with charm and delicious tri-tip. Located in a residential neighborhood across from the railyards. Great spot for breakfast (burritos) and lunch (tacos).

Just outside the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento is a modern steakhouse. Echo & Rig is known for cooking their steaks over a California white oak grill. If you like a charred steak that is perfectly cooked on the inside, you have to check this place out!

The Roseville Rising Culinary Showcase is the culmination of a 10-week program for food entrepreneurs put on by Roseville's Venture Lab, a collaboration between the City of Roseville and the Growth Factory. The program helps them gain personalized insights to hone their business strategy and accelerate their concepts into reality.

One of Sacramento's Michelin Star restaurants!! The Kitchen will satisfy every foodie fantasy you have. This is a must try, even if it's just once!

Le Bon Vin Boutique is an intimate wine bottle shop and tasting room. Perfect for a day date or mom's happy hour. They specialize in wines from around the world.

We celebrated the 2 year anniversary of Moksa Barrel House in Roseville! A collaboration between Moksa Brewing and Hawks restaurant in Granite Bay which guarantees great beers and good food. We've been many times and will be back many more times.

We went to lunch at Masa Masa! One of the only eateries in west Roseville. They have quite the following since opening in April. Think upscale/cute taqueria. Perfect lunch or casual dinner spot.

For Justin's birthday we went to Ella Dining Room and Bar in downtown Sacramento. Being a Michelin recognized restaurant, the service and food were exceptional! This is definitely a "special occasion" destination.

One of our absolute favorite spots in the area! This is a 4-course "fun dinning" experience with one seating per night with a fixed price/fixed menu (prix fixe). Menu changes monthly so you can plan to go each month to try the new menu creations.

Put your busy life on pause and take a break at Pause Coffee House in Rocklin. We did just that on a very hot summer morning for episode #3 of our coffee series.

"Crawdads on the River" in Sacramento now has a sister restaurant... Crawdads on the Lake! This is a great place to meet up after a day on the river, or is it a lake?! Great views, good drinks, great chill atmosphere. Sit on the patio for a relaxing evening!

This is not just dinner, it's an experience! Omakase Por Favor translates to "trust the chef, please." Their blind multi-course Omakase menu is curated daily by Chef Jeana. They also have an à la carte menu. This coastal Mexican/Japanese fusion has some of the best oysters we've ever tried!

Episode #2 of our coffee series takes us to a new spot... The Pour Choice in Auburn! Another coffee shop that also sells beer and wine! Cute little spot for any morning or really any time. Also, a special trip next door to Miss V's Dessert Bars.

From the owner of Fourk Kitchen comes a new authentic Italian restaurant, Sette Pasta House! We had the opportunity to taste test the menu prior to their grand opening in June. If you love flavor and genuine Italian cuisine, this is the spot for you!

We took Katrina's parents and uncle to Galpão Gaucho, aka Gaucho Maucho. An all-you-can-eat Brazilian steakhouse. With a stop at a local speakeasy for after dinner drinks.

For our first episode we went to a familiar spot. Red's Bistro in Loomis, CA. A fantastic date night spot!
