Dr. Nasha Winters meets this moment with decades of lived experience and an incredible ability to translate complexity into something human and hopeful. She shares why cancer is a messenger and not a death sentence, why the body's early signals matter, and how fatigue, digestive changes, emotional overload, and toxin exposures begin shaping the terrain long before a diagnosis. We get into mitochondrial overwhelm, long COVID, the spike protein's impact on energy production, and the ways our nervous system and survival patterns shape our physiology. Her Test Assess Address approach brings the focus back to the why behind the cancer process, and offers real direction for patients and practitioners who want to understand what the body needs next. | 28% Americans Suffer Hidden Concussion & Vision Issues (Are You One of Them?) | Dr. Bryce Appelbaum | 15 Dec 2025 | 00:31:19
🔔 Feeling like your symptoms don't add up? 👉 Take the Root Cause Assessment: https://detoxnation.com/quiz/ 👈 So many of us walk around carrying symptoms we've tried to explain away. The headaches, the screen intolerance, the brain fog, the frustration that hits when the simplest tasks feel harder than they should. I see this often in our practice, and I've lived parts of it myself. What most people never realize is how often an old head injury is still directing the show. Your body is brilliant. It remembers everything, including the moments when your brain had to work overtime just to make sense of what your eyes were taking in. Talking with Dr. Bryce Appelbaum brought so much clarity to this. He explains how vision is really brain function and why concussions always affect the visual system, even when eyesight looks normal. We get into the neuroinflammation piece, the overwhelm that builds when the eye brain connection is stressed, and the ways we learn to compensate without ever knowing we are doing it. I share parts of my own journey too, including the visual challenges I masked for years by sheer force of will. This conversation brings a lot of hope. Once you understand why your system has been struggling, you can finally see the path forward. Your body remembers how to heal. Let's unpack this together. Key Takeaways Vision Lives in the Brain – Vision reflects how the brain processes information. Neuroinflammation Affects Vision – Light sensitivity and fatigue signal visual system inflammation. Concussions Often Go Missed – Even mild head impacts disrupt visual brain function. Compensation Drains Energy – Overworked vision strains mood, digestion, and resilience. Holistic Rehab Restores Function – Vision therapy and nervous system support rebuild regulation. Daily Support Helps – Simple visual habits reduce symptoms and improve ease. | 56: Betty Murray: Why me? Liver, Hormones, and the Gut Microbiome | 25 Jun 2023 | 00:33:49
For today's episode, Sinclair Kennally brings on Betty Murray, a clinical nutritionist, and certified functional medicine practitioner, discusses the importance of identifying and addressing the underlying causes of health issues, particularly in women who are more susceptible to digestive disorders, autoimmune conditions, weight gain, and weight loss resistance. Murray emphasizes the connection between diet and chronic illness and highlights the significance of a diverse microbiome, which is established by early childhood factors such as breastfeeding, vaginal delivery, exposure to animals, and the use of antibiotics and hand sanitizers. The overuse of antibiotics and exposure to toxins can disrupt the gut microbiome, leading to the proliferation of antibiotic-resistant bacteria and the production of a harmful byproduct called beta-glucuronidase.
Murray recommends proactive measures such as stool testing to assess gut health and emphasizes the importance of taking control of one's health. She explains the vital role of the liver in detoxification and hormone production and how it can contribute to issues like weight gain, blood sugar problems, insulin problems, and estrogen problems. Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease is a prevalent concern, especially among women. Murray suggests evaluating liver enzymes, sex hormone markers, and sex hormone binding globulin to identify hormone abnormalities in women experiencing symptoms such as adult acne or painful periods. The liver is often a key starting point for addressing these hormone imbalances.
Murray stresses the importance of working with a practitioner who understands the proper sequencing of interventions and is knowledgeable in both gut and hormonal health. Murray's top recommendations include evaluating digestive and hormone problems and addressing functional issues related to pancreatic, stomach, hydrochloric acid, liver, bile flow, and bile function. She advocates for a comprehensive approach to health that considers the bigger picture for better outcomes.
Finally, Murray emphasizes the value of finding a practitioner who is passionate about helping patients achieve hope and prosperity in their health, as she believes that with the right support, the body is capable of healing itself. Timestamps:

Emphasizes the connection between diet and chronic illnesses and how resolving the root causes can lead to better health outcomes. Make sure to address the underlying factors contributing to health problems in women. This includes issues related to digestive disorders, autoimmune conditions, weight gain, and weight loss resistance.
Explains the relationship between the gut microbiome and hormonal balance, particularly in women. Factors such as the use of antibiotics, exposure to toxins, and the overgrowth of antibiotic-resistant bacteria can disrupt the gut microbiome, leading to complications in hormone regulation. This disruption can have specific effects on hormones during the menstrual cycle. So, it is best to measures like stool testing to understand gut health and take control of one's health.
Importance of the liver in detoxifying the body and producing hormones. How the liver can contribute to weight gain, blood sugar problems, insulin issues, and estrogen problems. Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, which disproportionately affects women, is highlighted as a significant concern. Murray recommends evaluating liver enzymes, sex hormone markers, and sex hormone-binding globulin to identify hormone abnormalities. The liver is considered a crucial starting point for addressing hormonal imbalances.

| 55: Christine Schaffner : Reclaim Your Wellness Using the EECO Methodology | 19 Jun 2023 | 00:31:03 | |
Dr. Christine Schaffner and Sinclair Kennally discuss the significance of addressing overlooked root causes and integrating biofield therapies for the effective treatment of chronic conditions. Interference fields, such as dental work, scars, and focal infections, disrupt the body's healing abilities. Dental work, like amalgam fillings, should be safely removed. Scars disrupt the body's systems, but Neurotherapy helps release trauma. Silent focal infections, like tonsils and sinuses, impact the immune system.
Dr. Schaffner highlights the importance of working with a biological dentist and using 3D cone beam technology to identify interference fields. Her recommended strategy involves removing oral insults, improving the oral microbiome, and addressing insults and infections in cervical lymph nodes. This supports lymph movement, and drainage, and alleviates mast cell activity from vagus nerve dysfunction.
Biofield therapies utilize sound, light, and frequency to promote healing by addressing interference fields. Neurotherapy unblocks the body, aiding scars, ganglion injections, and tonsils. BPC 157 helps with inflammation and mast cells.
Dr. Schaffner believes the biofield is the blueprint of our physiology and incoherent patterns disrupt our bodies. Incorporating biofield therapies, like light therapy, sound healing, and frequency therapies, improves coherent communication within the body.
Ancestral healing is important, and family constellation work helps address unresolved traumas in the family line. This heals the transmitted field and affects present and future offspring.
Patients should not overlook root causes and work with healthcare practitioners to address them. By addressing interference fields and incorporating biofield therapies, rapid results can be achieved in treating chronic conditions. Understanding subtle energies presents an exciting frontier for the future.

| 53: Oral and Dental Toxicity (Part 1) | 14 Jun 2023 | 00:13:54 | |
Sinclair Kennally discusses the topic of oral and dental toxicity and its impact on gut health. The episode highlights the significance of gut health for overall well-being and explains how gut dysfunction can originate in the mouth due to hidden oral infections and dental toxicity.
Amalgam fillings containing mercury are identified as a significant issue affecting many Americans and serving as the primary source of mercury exposure. The podcast notes that even individuals who have never had amalgam fillings can still be affected by maternal-fetal toxin transfer, which occurs across generations.
Kennally mentions that while the American Dental Association has acknowledged the potential drawbacks of dental amalgams, they continue to be widely used due to their durability and effectiveness in handling larger cavities. However, it is emphasized that approximately 80% of the mercury in amalgams off-gases at room temperature and higher, with 80% of that remaining in the body long term. This long-term mercury exposure can harm the nervous, digestive, and immune systems. Mercury is shown to directly impact the digestive system by contributing to a leaky gut and perpetuating dysbiosis.
There are various symptoms that can arise from mercury toxicity, including immune issues, skin problems, and disruptions in sleep and digestion. Understanding the connection between dental health and gut health is deemed crucial, and the episode suggests employing strategies to directly tackle dental toxicity. | 50: Is Your Liver Overloaded? Signs and Symptoms | 07 Jun 2023 | 00:28:11
Is your liver overloaded? Signs and symptoms Sinclair Kennally is the co-founder of the Detox Rejuvenation, and Meditation Rx and an expert on resolving the root causes of complex chronic illnesses. In this episode of Your Health Reset, Sinclair discusses the signs and symptoms that indicate an overloaded liver. The liver plays a vital role in absorbing and storing crucial nutrients and minerals like vitamins D, E, and K, as well as calcium. It produces healthy bile, stored in the gallbladder, which is essential for breaking down fats and absorbing nutrients. However, toxins can make bile thick and sluggish, slowing down its flow and affecting the liver's ability to cleanse the blood and process hormones. The liver's connection with the thyroid is also affected, as it requires proper liver function to convert T4 to T3. Liver overload from xenoestrogens can lead to hormone imbalances. The liver decides where toxins are eliminated, prioritizing the digestive tract over the kidneys, but struggles to build bile and ends up reusing bile salts with attached toxins. Liver distress can cause gallstones, skin issues, bloating, and sleep difficulties. Liver cleanses and protocols can alleviate stagnation, improving overall health and emotional resilience. Understanding the liver's needs is crucial for effective liver cleanses and addressing symptoms. Taking control of our liver journey can lead to increased energy, patience, creativity, and healthy skin.

Highlights The liver plays a vital role in absorbing and storing crucial nutrients and minerals, such as vitamins D, E, and K, as well as calcium. It also produces healthy bile that helps break down fats and absorb nutrients. Toxins can affect the flow of bile, making it thick and sluggish, which hinders the liver's ability to cleanse the blood and process hormones. This can also impact the liver's connection with the thyroid, as proper liver function is necessary for converting T4 to T3. Liver overload from xenoestrogens, along with struggles in bile production, can lead to hormone imbalances, gallstones, skin issues, bloating, and sleep difficulties. Liver cleanses and protocols can help alleviate these symptoms, improve overall health, and enhance emotional resilience.

| 49: Peter Kan : Neurometabolic Integration | 06 Jun 2023 | 00:37:03 | |
Neurometabolic Integration On this episode of Your Health Reset, Sinclair Kennally invites Dr. Peter Kahn to discuss the fascinating concept of the gut-brain axis and functional medicine. Dr. Kahn, an expert in this field, sheds light on the intricate connections between the brain, immune system, and the gut. Dysfunction in any one of these can lead to a cascade of neurological, immune, and digestive symptoms. Dr. Kahn presents a simplified roadmap for addressing chronic illness by targeting its root causes. He highlights the critical role of fuel delivery in healing the brain, immune system, and gut. Insufficient energy production and fuel delivery hinder effective detoxification and infection-fighting capabilities within the body. By addressing fuel delivery issues, such as stabilizing blood sugar levels, as the first step before other interventions like hormone replacement, individuals can avoid ineffective treatments and unnecessary detox reactions. However, it is equally important to identify underlying causes like adrenal issues or chronic viral infections to achieve long-term improvement. With the right adjustments, individuals can experience a significant enhancement in their well-being.

Coffee enemas, a popular holistic remedy, offer a wide range of advantages, such as stimulating the liver to produce more glutathione and activating the vagus nerve. Today, they are widely used for aiding recovery from chronic symptoms and complimenting supplement regimens.

Highlights One of the benefits of coffee enemas and why so many of our students rely on them when they're in the thick of the deep peeling process is because they're so good for supporting the release of deep liver stagnation. This is especially true if you're working on letting go of gallstones out of the gallbladder or the liver. Use distilled water with the equivalent coffee brew of three tablespoons of ground organic coffee. It may take you a while to work up to that. It may even a few months.
Start with the water enemas, move to coffee enemas, and you can start with a really low solution. If you're worried that you're not a good detoxer or that you react easily, you may start with a very diluted solution of the coffee itself.
You don't want air bubbles in your tube. It's basically like taking in gas bubbles, and that can be a little uncomfortable, and then you'll hold it as long as it's comfortable. In the beginning, you're just gonna practice taking in the coffee, remembering to clip it when you're done.

How to Deal With Die-Off Symptoms From a Parasite Cleanse In this episode of "Your Health Reset," Sinclair Kennally dives deep into the topic of die-off symptoms that may arise during a parasite cleanse. These symptoms encompass a range of discomforts such as irritable bowel syndrome, abdominal pain, food sensitivities, joint pain, and more. Michael and Sinclair explore the significance of observing the cleansing process and understanding the body's response to expelling parasites.
The conversation sheds light on the visible presence of worms and parasites during a cleanse, which triggers die-off symptoms as parasites resist their expulsion. It is crucial to draw them out rather than simply eliminating them to minimize detoxification events. Listeners are urged to be mindful of your body's cycles, including pre-excretion symptom flares, and to develop trust in your body's ability to endure short-term discomfort for long-term benefits.
Supporting the body throughout the parasite cleansing process is emphasized as a key aspect. The episode outlines a multi-layered protocol that includes supplements, physical and therapeutic support, and drainage assistance to alleviate symptoms and expedite results. The importance of maintaining the body's well-being is highlighted, with practices like coffee enemas, abdominal massage, vibration plates, and more suggested to calm the nervous system and facilitate the elimination of parasites.

Whatever the symptom that is really frustrating to you as you deal with the parasite cleanse and die-off is, make sure that you build into your daily routine things that actually support the body in recalibrating and releasing that anxiety. That can include tapping, that's one of our favorites.
Drainage support can really help to lessen the common die-off symptoms. Coffee enemas are one way to do it. Or water enemas, if you're extremely sensitive in the gut and you have a lot of gut pain and chamomile enemas are wonderful for soothing and supporting that gut motility, so you can still excrete the parasites.
There's always an element of some kind of visible worm, a larger parasite that's acting as a toxin sponge.
Symptoms you could be having as you're having parasite die-off from a parasite cleanse, and not actually seeing fireworks in the toilet.

This Week Sinclair spoke with Kiran Krishnan, a microbiologist who co-founded "Microbiome Labs". Instead of waiting to treat you when you become severely ill, Kiran will teach you simple lifestyle changes that can have drastic effects on your lifelong health by understanding our place in nature and the balance of our own gut biome. The Gut-Brain Axis with Kiran Krishnan We have created a world that is "Anti-human" In this episode, Sinclair speaks with Microbiologist Kiran Krishnan, Co-founder of "Microbiome Labs" He will teach you what the Microbiome is, what has caused it to become imbalanced and how you can take simple steps to heal your gut. Instead of focusing on symptoms, today's episode explores daily changes that can prevent diseases from forming in the body. Regardless of what stage of healing you are in, Karin teaches us that ,We are not the disease. Most sickness comes from lifestyle so by the same logic we can regain our health through lifestyle as well.
Key Ideas:
Where to find the Guest: https://microbiomelabs.com/home/about/ @microbiomelabs
Memorable Quotes: " Prior to the initiation of the "Human Genome Project" the assumption was that for every chronic illness that we deal with, we are going to find a gene that's driving it. That chronic illness was largely driven by genetic mishaps. If you have heart disease you have a heart disease gene, if you have a cancer of some sort you have a cancer gene, and sure genetics play some component of it but it's a much more MINOR component than we ever imagined" [11:25]
" The big question is "How are we this sophisticated?" Well, that's because we harbor 2.5 million microbial genes in our system. So we have 150-200 times more microbial genetic material in our system that we use to function as a human, then we have human genes. [12:17]
"Over the last 4 million years We've evolved to be WITHIN nature. We are supposed to be in this constant osmosis with the natural environment, we're shedding organisms, we're picking up organisms, we're picking up genetic material and proteins and peptides, and all of these things from the natural world but then we've gone and divorced from it. [16:30]
"Absence is just as bad as deliberate toxicity" [27:19]
"Lack of hope has a huge impact on your microbiome which increases inflammation and that will actually perpetuate the condition." [29:13]
"You are NOT your illness, people define themselves by the illness that they have suffered from for years and that is a manifestation of the illness in itself. I meet lots of people where they should basically introduce themselves like "Hi my name is Sibo" or "Hi, my name is Eczema" because that's their whole identity. And I understand it but they need to detach themselves from that illness. That illness is a temporary thing and it will get better, so don't embrace it as part of your identity." [30:04]
"The pathology is the same, The only difference is the degree in which the pathology is present. So, everything that a chronically ill person should do, is the same thing a high functioning person that doesn't feel good, should do and vice versa because we are working on the basic foundation of health" [39:28]

| 22: Sachin Patel : How to Reclaim Your Intuition | 21 Mar 2022 | 00:41:14 | |
Short description: In this episode, Sinclair has an inspiring conversation with the functional medicine practice success coach and best-selling author, Sachin Patel. Sachin is a vocal proponent of trusting our intuition to become our own doctor, trust what feels right, have autonomy, and assume responsibility for what happens in our bodies. Using his calm, grounded, and centered tone, he explains how to quiet the noise, get in tune with what we feel inside of us is right, and remove emotions from decision-making. Return To Your True Self and Reclaim Your Intuition with Sachin Patel We are so used to delegating that we put our health care in the hands of people that barely know us without hesitation. In this episode, Sinclair speaks with the functional medicine practice success coach and best-selling author, Sachin Patel. He'll invite you to listen to what feels right to you and take autonomy and responsibility for what you decide to put in your body. We get to decide what we eat, the medicines we take, the thoughts we have and the emotions we attach to them, and the ideas we embrace or ignore. Sachin's proposition is to tune in with and trust our intuition, train the ability to listen to our inner voice, and be confident about our decisions based on that conversation with our true self. (2:24, Sachin Patel) "Children are very in tune with their bodies. We don't give them as much credit as they probably deserve. They're very in tune, and they don't have that filter. They're not worried about what other people are gonna think, so they fully express themselves" (3:44, Sachin Patel) "There's so much emotion and decision-making, and that's because we're not listening to our intuition." (7:57, Sachin Patel) "We live in this illusionary world where nothing is actually real. The only thing that's real is the soul and the essence of who we are because that's never changing." (10:37, Sachin Patel) "We have this knowledge of what we should be doing, and we've been ignoring that voice perhaps for a long time. And it's scary to hear it so loud and clear. And sometimes, it's scary to acknowledge that I've been ignoring this voice, and I need to start listening to it a little bit." (14:45, Sachin Patel) "I try to stay very grounded and stay right in the middle and approach things from curiosity instead of a place of opinion. When we formulate an opinion, then that's taking a stance. But when we approach something from a place of curiosity, we're open and receptive to whatever answers we might see or whatever answers might be available to us. (20:38, Sachin Patel) "As healthcare practitioners, we know what's right and what's wrong. We know when certain rules are being broken. We know when certain relationships are being violated for our patients. And so we have an obligation to at least warn people as best as we can." (26:26, Sachin Patel) "I had a past life reading, and my head was decapitated for speaking the truth. And here I am: ready to do it all over again. Because we've been given another chance, so to speak, in this lifetime to do that and follow our karmic path in our karmic destiny, our Dharma if you will." (30:26, Sachin Patel)

| 21: [Explained] Liver & Gallbladder Stress: the Hidden Factor in Persistent Gut Issues | 17 Mar 2022 | 00:27:56 | |
Short Description: Today, I am sharing an interview that I did with Laura Frontiero, during the It starts in the Gut Summit, where I discussed root causes for digestive and chronic illnesses. The issue I will discuss will be centered around the liver and gallbladder, which are the most overlooked root causes of chronic illnesses. [Explained] Liver and Gallbladder Stress is the Hidden Reason for Persistent Gut issues A main question that we should ask ourselves in relation to chronic illnesses is, what has changed in the last few decades? Liver and the gallbladder have always been a component of chronic illnesses. In 1960 only 4% of the population had a chronic illness as compared to now, we have over 54% of the population with one. If you dive deeper and look into the statistics on the liver there are 25% of Americans that have fatty liver disease. Something worth noting is that 61% of Americans have had serious chronic digestive issues within the last 7 days. These normally come from liver and gallbladder congestion. In this episode we will discuss the chronic issues caused by the liver and gallbladder. Instead of just looking at the current issue, we will discuss what needs to be done to fix the root causes, before it brings about these downstream chronic illnesses. Key Ideas:
