Phillip Zelmanow earned his dental degree from the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, after earning his bachelor’s degree from SUNY Albany. Dr. Horton was born and raised in Athens, Greece. He received a degree in biology from Pacific Lutheran University, and later a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Washington. As a partner in the Affordable Dental Care network, Dr. Horton focuses on advanced surgical procedures including but not limited to: IV sedation, dental implants, implant dentures, wisdom teeth, bone grafts, sinus lifts and minor reconstructions. Every day, for 11 years in a row, Jim Boyd woke up with a headache. As a dental student at USC, he was the senior resident in their TMD clinic, but the classic splint therapy that he was taught somehow allowed his own headaches to intensify as he simply clenched harder on the splint than without one. Three years into private practice Dr. Boyd determined that it wasn't his occluSION that was the cause of his headaches, but the frequency, duration, and most importantly, the intensity of his occlud-ING, (that is, clenching), that was perpetuating his pain. A few years later, Dr. Boyd developed the therapeutic protocol for an "enhanced deprogrammer", a device that would provide for incisal guidance in any mandibular excursion, thereby minimizing clenching intensity. The device that we now know as the NTI, was ultimately approved by the FDA for the prevention of medically diagnosed migraine pain.

David grew up in Taiwan and after high school he came to study in the U.S. He is a graduate of the University of the Pacific with a bio degree and a graduate of the University of Michigan Dental School. He is currently in a 1-year orthodontic internship in New York.

Matehus Severino Johansen is a young dentist from Norway, who wants to help dental students study smarter and more efficiently. By co-founding Denthelp with 2 other co-founders, he is now able share his story. The whole solution is built upon his own struggles through dental school and is helping dental students from more than 90 different countries with a digital dental library as an app.

Dr. Lily graduated from UMKC School of Dentistry in 2016 and moved to Colorado Springs for her first associate position as a general dentist. She had the opportunity to work alongside some of her company’s top producing dentists and specialists, in turn becoming one of the company’s top doctors. After 4 years she returned to Wichita, KS where she joins her father and brother in private practice at Wakim Dentistry. Dr. Lily is committed to providing patients an environment which in turn yields high case acceptance & patient retention. She has developed a course for healthcare workers looking to increase practice revenue and retention that is available at drlily.teachable.com.

Douglass Lodmell was born in Geneva, Switzerland. From an early age, Douglass stood out as one of the brightest minds of his generation. His capacity to make the complex simple allowed him to excel during law school, receiving the Jacobs Burns Medal, an award given to the single student with the highest GPA. He completed his Legal Masters (LL.M.) in taxation at the nation’s leading tax program, New York University School of Law. As Managing Partner of Lodmell & Lodmell, P.C., Douglass spends much of his time teaching, speaking, and leading thousands of business owners, corporate executives, investors and other professionals who have often worked most of their lives to accumulate wealth of various types, including real estate and securities.
