Chapter 20: • Excerpt: after his dad died he forgot what it was like to be loved until Violet, going to do anything to get that back • Running landing, tairn is upset. • Violet's turn to visit Xaden and holding the contraband lol. • Xaden mentally asks if she wants to kiss him for show, he walks up, full make out....for show of course, didn't Xaden get a boner.... for show?, 2nd kiss, Mira got the point. • Sister time, withholding Brennan being alive, Mira doesn't trust Xaden, Vi quietly agrees. • Ward stone is the stem, wards like an umbrella, ward woven to the ground at the outposts. The alloy that extend the wards, unknown alloy material. (Fantasy metal blend and eggs) • Violet says that she thinks it's wyvern destroying poromish towns, Mira thinks she's crazy. • The outpost kills civilians. 🤨 • Violet apologizes for keeping ward research secret, xaden says it makes sense but I think xaden just said he won't keep secrets that will affect how she makes decisions and asks for the same. • Ends with them talking about her blocking him out, neither can fully do it to each other, and cuddling to sleep. "You love me, stop reminding me, maybe you're not the one who needs reminding". Chapter 21: • Excerpt: forming nevarre stripped locations of their cultures. • Devera fills in for the history class and she discusses the cultural loses. • Lost folklore, languages, books, history, travel. • Ridoc knows oral folklore violet doesn't, he jokes that's impossible. • Nevarre only gave families 1 year to move for protection and unification. • Awkward moment with Dain, dain vs vi sparring, not a sexy one • Dain doesn't acknowledge he stole her memory, tells her about his scars 😬 • Rhiannon realizes there is a hit on those who went to Athbyne for seeing something and asks what killed Deigh, no answer. • Auric tells violet he knows about venin. Violet plays it down and that she didn't say she didn't believe her and rhi says you don't say much anyways Chapter 16: • Xaden to Vi letter: his dad wanted him to be in infantry, thought riders were pompous dicks • Vi goes to the archives and saw effie and Jesinia, reads the record of the RCS • Cadet killed for requesting an account of a border attack • jesinia didn't record any of violets requests, she's starting to question the archive legitimacy. • Jesinia wants help, violet asks for a book on how the first 6 built the wards. • In sparing class, being a rider is lifelong, infantry is shorter, was xaden's dad infantry • They think Nolan has someone they are torturing. • Violet poisoned sloane's opponent, she tells Rhiannon ish, sloane thought she won • Violet says she can have his letters if she trains, 1 letter a week, Imogen impressed. • Jesinia brought her a classified book in exchange for the fables book. • Varrish at her door, they check her bag, asshole as unusual, tarin thinks a few more weeks until andarna wakes. Chapter 17: • Dragons and humans made sacrifices for nevarre and wards. Loses of hatching grounds and humans from borders being closed. • Imogen asks about her and xaden relationship... they're becoming friends 🧡 xaden sent another letter about his childhood. • Imogen thinks Violet should forgive xaden and accept his secrets, it's normal for riders especially xaden. • Imogen lays it out harder and to be there for Rhiannon and there are bigger things to worry about. • Rhiannon letter from her family "be aware of strangers seeking shelter... your kindness could kill" • Markum took it, he reads it out loud, says it's not official and a regional thing, calls it propaganda that the regional leadership think the destruction is from dragons. • Violet runs out, releases her power, Rhi follows, Vi lies, asks Rhi to take notes for her in RCS, runs to Jesinia (not Saturday) • Tarin calls her out for losing control and being in the archives was her attempt, "good point but I would tell Tarin", "already did" lol • Returns her book, discuss consequences. Chapter 18: • The borders of nevarre determined by the limits of the wards. • Xaden showed up exhausted, she says I want you not I love you like he wants(but he has never said it to her), they talk about her books, and her ward plan. • They're fighting in their heads in front of others about her secrets, he thinks it's not the same. • More arguing as they visit Jesinia, run into Nolon, Nolon says he would never hurt her... but will let others???, he's mending a soul. • I don't think xaden can actually read her mind directly, he has asked frequently what Exactly is she thinking. • Xaden can sign, jesinia points out issues with the archives, violet has a white satchel, more fighting.

Chapter 11: • Excerpt: thank God he wrote this letter, it's sharing info about garrick and bohdi is the closest thing to a brother. Shared his childhood. • Imogen shuts her down by saying she was finishing a conversation, not starting one. • Jesinia secretly found violet, The gift of the first six, jesinia knows Vi is lying, Jesinia asks her for help to translate a 25yr old book, about an ancient King • Rider killed for requesting a banned book. • Letter from Mira, Vi tells Rhi that her and xaden aren't together bc he want honest with her, Rhi and terra not really together either. • Mira's letter is redacted!! • Kaori spotted Andarna. • Varrish shows up on the field, secret signet, "Remind him I will digest him alive", threatens to punish Violet if Andarna doesn't come to training. • Notes that her dad was writing about feather tails. • Tarin threatens to eat kaori of he doesnt change the expectation of her tuck and roll thing. • Bohdi slips up saying he's never seen xaden care so much, not even for Cat. • Varrish searches violet bags before seeing Xaden, tarin was carrying (where?) • First six are not the first riders, just the first to survive. Chapter 12: • Xaden to Vi letter: said sgaeyl watched him kill a rider for bullying garrick. Sgaeyl says she chose him for his ruthless, but thinks it's actually bc he is like his gpa. • She can't find Xaden, and uses her sonar to find him fighting sexily, he's fighting to get to have leave time • reminisces how much she missed him and wants him. • He's hearing everything she is thinking about him 😬😆 well he says he can read her and just needs to hear her say what she wants, she's fighting her feelings. • She calls his kiss home ❤️ • Roles reversed now she just want sex and nothing more but he wants more. She still wants whole truths. • Go back to his room, discuss wards and how they need to be imbued with power. Chapter 13: • Carr and Varrish punish Violet by bringing her near burn out for andarna • 32 per hour or something like that up to 40 • "Silver one is done" • Carr tells varrish, he asks for another, she listens..... but whhhyyyy. • She can't stop the power from flowing, she's stuck. • Carr trying to convince her to convince andarna to show up. 😡 • Tarin cools her down in water, everyone takes care of her. • Sparring class, sloane is terrible and going to be against someone she can't beat. • As they leave sparing, a bag is thrown over violets head and she is knocked out.

She says no bc he won't be fully honest with her. • Introduced to Varrish, Aetos threatens "secrets die with the people who keep them". • Violet gets 2 days of leave every 14 days, tarin and sgaeyl can see each other every 3 days. Chapter 6: • Violet loses her temper, tarin is pissed, andarna is sassy. • They put on a show in front of everyone when says their good byes as a way to tell her to be careful with sending letters and to not get involved. • Says she trusts him with her life but nothing else. • Dain is the wing leader and Rhiannon is their squad leader. Chapter 7: • Excerpt: All book requests must be documented. • New professor, Pf. Grady, unknown signet, riders survival course, surviving without a dragon and interrogation. • Goes and meets Jesinia to ask for books about the founding of basgiath and why there for the wards, her first lie to someone she loves. • Receives two books but only a couple hundred years old Chapter 8: • Conscription day. • Dain looks heartbroken and hasn't talked to violet, she is taking final roll call. • Xaden left 3 books about weaving fabric into tradition tyrrish knots, with a note "even when I'm not with you, there's only you" • Meets Aaric Graycastle, King Tauri's son,a.k.a Cam "you cost that parapet, and there's no going back"-Dain. • Meet Sloane Mairi, gives her the same advice as Mira, blames violet for liam's death because she knew he was protecting violet, sloane makes it • Tarin arrives, destroys the walls, Solas not scared, "you do not have the right to burn what is mine", Solas retreats, "if Solas comes near you again, he knows I will devour his human whole and let him rot within me while his heart still beats and then I'll take the eye I so graciously left him" Chapter 9: • Excerpt about green dragons offering their hatching grounds for all dragon and the first 6 put up the wards in nevarre. • Imogen invites herself to run with violet, Rhiannon questions it and violet is very awkward about it. (If I was Rhi, I would be hurt, confused, and jealous of Imogen). • Back in battle brief, Rhi points out the run and Vi still awkward. • Pr. Devera went into service and has a scar, Col. Like wifi extension. • Scribes withholding information. • Talk of another ward stone, others think the luminary for melting alloy for weapons is better than building wards. ------- • Why does sgaeyl not like Brennan, ever?? • Find out Andarna grew and no longer golden. • Brennan doesn't think their mom is too be trusted, but others point out mom wasn't there when orders were given for the games. • Andarna wakes, she's crabby, is she bitter?, "can you carry her", tarin deeply offended lol Chapter 3: • Dragons only first bonded to pretext their hatchlings, sneak into basgiath, xaden on thin ice, talk about her shielding Dain. • Violet grabs liam's letters, asks Rhiannon to hide them. • Talk about how can xaden lie to the ones he cares about, says he has never lied to her and she needs to master the art of selective truths for their safety. • Xaden has known Brennan since his death, he answered truthfully when she asked. • XADEN YOU'RE PISSING ME OFF, • Little did you know xaden....Jesinia documented what you said • she points out how he would tell her anything she wants to know and anything you don't, he said only in regards to him 😡. • Says he will always have secrets but wants her to ask anything about him, violet points out how everyone and everything around her is a lie. • She threatens to un- fall in love with him if she doesn't get full and total honesty. The guy who quits hanging out with guy friends because he just wants to hang out with you so you have to make him spend time with his friends. The guy who will punch someone in the face who touched you and made you feel like a whore you while you're out with friends. Chapter 9 Xaden POV: • Sparing between xaden and violet. • Wait a minute xaden, I thought you loved her at first sight, why are you considering the consequences of killing her??? • Turned on by how brilliant she is. • Calls her Violence, thinks about how she needs better fitting daggers. • This chapter seems more like when he fell for her. • Violet catches him off guard, sgaeyl doesn't like how violet brings his guard down. • Sexual position and tension 😆 completely professional to outsiders. • Yup this is definitely when he falls for her. • Dain startled him and he's reminded others can see them. • Garrick makes fun of him. Chapter 16 Xaden POV: • Post threshing when Dain is talking to Violet. • Xaden notices the grip Dain has on her. • Sgaeyl is gentle with Xaden each time, unexpected. • Xaden tries masking and over compensates by being aggressive/emotional. • Brings up the moment of the field as "Maybe I'll kill her or maybe i won't, to protect her at all costs". • Calls out Dain that he wouldn't protect violet. • Sgaeyl calls out Xaden that of not for Tarin, Dain would be right. • They talk about them being tied together and risks with that. • Xaden wants to kiss her in between their serious talk. • Love sgaeyl's smooth sarcasm. • If tarin is 100 and he's 50yrs older than sgaeyl and she bonded his grandpa, the. She was pretty young when she first bond right? • They are all bonded together, assigns Liam to protect her. • Garrick makes fun of his crush and that Liam won't bang her and eases his worries of Dain unlacing her leathers, both frozen when they kiss. • "He has his lips on my violence....well not mine" lol • Shadows rises around him, garrick and sgaeyl laughing at him.

Chapter 37: • Excerpt: the third sibling who commands the sky that vanquished his siblings at a terrible price. • Venin on tarin, feels taunted by something she is missing but she has the answer on the tip of her tongue, venin adapts to her moves quickly, broken arm, stabbed. • They want to take her power. • Xaden trusts her to remove shadows, vi misses again and again, close to burn out. • Tarin will not watch another rider die from not knowing their limitations. • Says she knows her limit, but admits she has taken too much power lol. • Uses andarna (sign that she is right she can take on more than naolin), precision strike. • Even at her greatest fatigue, and near death, she thirsts watching xaden, and she falls. Chapter 38: • Andarna catches her, using the last of her power. • Fear in xaden's eyes, she passes out, black blood. • Taking her to "someone". • When she wakes again, she thinks "i don't want him dead, I'll never want that" 👀 • Tarin crying • Xaden kisses her forehead, she's confused bc you don't keep secrets from someone you care about. • Xaden "you can hate me when you wake but you have to live. You can't make me fall for you and then die. Nothing is worth it without you"

Chapter 32: • Realizes she is in love with him. • Their on the parapet. • Xaden says he can wield shadows to save him if he falls. • Confesses her love, confesses her jealousy, xaden only has eyes for violet 💜 • Fell for her the first time he saw her. • He's so possessive! He's jealous of Dain. • She's very confident and forward, talk about threshing. • Says she's in love with him. • X⚡️ • I'm going to die right here in this bed. "Then I'm going to die with you". • He can shield her lightning. Chapter 33: • Head to formation wearing his flight leathers, no one "notices" When she leaves his room, feigns shock. • War games beginning. • They are going to athebyne. • Heaton has purple flames dyed into their hair. • Xaden and Imogen know something is up. • Xaden pulls violet, Liam and Imogen to his squad to athebyne. • Dain realizes they are banging. • "I'll miss you violet" • If xaden knows something is up, why bring violet? Chapter 34: First gryphon attack is 1 yr after reunification • Fly into the morning and afternoon to Mt near athebyne. • Most dangerous outpost, outside the wards. • Liam asks how she's doing, mentally talks to andarna and tarin about her safety, while Liam waits, does it again but thinking with Xaden 😄 • Sees xaden, "just be professional". • Walks to the lake, Xaden openly shows her affection. • She has tense muscles, so he eats her out to relax her(not actually), wing beats in her ears. • "I've been yours longer than you can imagine", longer than when he first saw her? • Cat arrives 😳, covers her in shadows but Cat saw(?) :((((( • Xaden blocks Violet, tarin protects her, her heart stops when he says the fliers are early. Ran to the weaver and the forest moved out of her way. Did it do it for the weaver or the suriel? Cheaper 60 Held the door open. Weaver smelled her brother. Heard screaming but nothing confirmed. The suriel dying heartbreaking. Tells her to stay with Rhys but almost like there will be a moment she won't want to. Leave this world a better place than you found it. Phantom wind stirred the ashes of the suriel, is this the same wind that assisted her flying from highburn? Chapter 61 Cassian nearly died. Feyre has never tried using her healing power. Either through blood or hands like thesan attempted with Nesta. Mor rightfully felt lied to by feyre. Bad things come for suriel blood, how did Helian find her and he gave vague details that no one questioned. Glad rhysand asked her to leave a note! Cassian and Rhys argued. Mor said to Nesta "should you be refilling that bucket?". Mor and Feyre argued about feyre omission and Feyre brought up azriel. Ice cold. Agree 100% with Mor. Chapter 62 Amren is shown pages to review. Nesta given bones and stones. Cassian near Nesta to give her comfort. Feyre did not ask permission to enter her mind but I'm guessing it was necessary. Cauldron saw them. No time to find Miriam so she considered the bone carver again. Varian seduced Amren. Thanks her like any bro. Chapter 63 Dreams from Elaine's perspective and heard the cauldron. Rhysand slept nude which sounds risky during war. Rhysand listens when Feyre says somethings wrong. Elaine taken and Azriel thought of her. Chapter 64 Plan for Feyre to pose as Ianthe, not confirmed deceased. Cassian can't help due to injury, cannot comprehend having healing power and not using it to both feyre and thesan. I would have an issue with you being intimate with me looking like someone else. Chapter 65 Acts like ianthe but Jurian knew instantly. I didn't realize azriel could BE Shadows. I wouldn't risk my siblings life for another. "Looks like you already got some steel in you, no need for mine" -jurian. Narrator impressively didn't use her ianthe voice but feyre impersonating ianthe voice. Azriel displayed his incredible power and Elaine said "you came for me" to him. Feyre hit, azriel carried two while injured. Tamlin saved them, warm spring wind helped feyre (i thought feyre but she said it was tamlin). This was the moment for the wings but I like that she acknowledged the moment to want to learn to fly. Tamlin escaped. Feyre is drained so I forgive her not healing azriel. Nesta hugged feyre, sister's cuddled, cute moment.
