With the AGE OF CYPHER upon us and the new project confirmed to be a new edition of Cypher System, there are many questions to be asked. We keep learning more and more about the upcoming Cypher System changes! We got another new Monte Cook Design Diary entry along with an email update! The design diary entry focuses on using rules to define genre. Monte details how wounds, genre abilities (!), and more can be used to really push the feel of genres. The email update gave us some amazing news! The game will now just be called Cypher and it will be two books; a GM book and a player book! We got another new email update from Monte Cook Games about the upcoming changes to Cypher System! This time the email is focusing on how, even with changes, the Cypher System will still be mostly the same. They discussed three broad answers as to what makes Cypher System, well, Cypher System.
