| Episode 249: "All Losers Matter" (w/ SVMBV) | 16 Dec 2024 | 02:38:09 | |
When a statement starts off with “This generation..”, often times the words are followed by an expression of disdain. It is not a foreign sentiment but it is also not a universal one. Despite the Gen-Z image being commonly defined by more negative perceptions than positive ones, among this demographic, there is one individual who is an excellent example of distinction; proof that Gen-Z is not a Monolith. We have the privilege of knowing him personally. This week, we had the honor of welcoming to the pod, a multi-talented, incredibly skillful, multi-instrumentalist and artist; a young man whose gifts are undeniably evident. The young prodigy we speak of is none other than SVMBV‼️ And if you’re wondering, YES! He’s REALLY LIKE THAT‼️ If you’re not already, GET‼️FAMILIAR‼️This young man is just getting started‼️And if you didn’t know NOW‼️YOU‼️KNOW‼️ Join #CharlieMaSheen, #Bellez & #KASH as we sit down with SVMBV and discuss a host of topics, including some interesting studio experiences, upcoming projects, and the growing pains that later shape us as artists and individuals in general. | Episode 157: "Mission to Create" (w/ Mission Mike & King Brickz) | 16 Jan 2023 | 01:45:19
When you've been through some things, it becomes your job to make sure that others after you don't have to make the same mistakes you've made along the way. We can only end certain trends and curses if we have the courage enough to speak out on them and give the youth a way to move forward as better versions of those before them. This is the message that the Mission Hill raised MC who goes by Mission Mike is conveying these days. A few stories about past endeavors are not reasons to glorify street life when we all know what can come from it. After winning a raffle at an event Charlie MaSheen hosted last year, Mission Mike was rewarded a sit down on the project–amongst other opportunities. With a story like his we were excited he was the victor and we welcomed him on to the pod with open arms. To make this moment even better, Mike took it upon himself to bring a special guest with him; someone we've spoken to more than once and one of our favorites from Mission Hill– King Brickz! This was a pleasant surprise and it gave us more insight on how close-knit their community is. CHECK OUT ALL OF OUR CONTENT:

WHAT ELSE CAN WE SAY BUT "THANK YOU"! Thank you to the supporters, thank you to the nay-sayers, and anyone in between! This is the last episode that will drop in the 2022 calendar year and it's been one hell fo a year to say the least. Coming off of our 2nd year win at the Boston Music Awards for "Best Music Podcast of the Year" is something that has never been done since the creation of that specific award in 2019 and we are proud to say that we are the first to do it. The broader spectrum of guests we had on the show this year is a true testament to our growth and will to include others who feel unspoken for. This year we did the recap a little different thant the past 2 years while we gave ya'll our choice of the top 10 episodes we've dropped while each host gave ya'll their individual top 5 #RedCupsAndRap freestyles! We shared a lot of laughs and reflection on this talk and got very personal about our own lives. As we grow together as a community it's important to show our sides that are less spoken of and not being shy of our shortcomings. In the end all we can say is we wont stop and we will continue to #ChooseWhatTheFutureBrings YEAR OVER YEAR OVER YEAR OVER YEAR!!! DONT MISS OUT ON THIS YEAR-END CLASSIC!!! | Episode 153: "God's Plan" (w/ Cyrus DeShield) | 19 Dec 2022 | 02:09:09
As our last guest of 2022, it's only right that we bring on an artist who's been a major voice and influence within our city and scene for a long time now. When we think about the major R&B players from Boston we often refer to Bobby Brown, Mike Bivins and the rest of New Edition, but there are others who have played a hand in the story of others; even the guys just mention previously. So this week we welcome Cyrus Deshield, the singer/songwriter originally from Liberia who came to the South End section of Boston and became the Grammy nominated creative he is today! Some may remember Cyrus from being a part of the R&B group "617" which rebranded to "Metro City" while under the wing of the for NE Patriot Willie McGinest's record label and Interscope Records. What many don't know are the hardship's Cyrus had to face prior the music with even making his way to the states, the black-balling and politics he faced once he and his peers stepped into the industry, and all the moves he's made in the background as a ghostwriter for many. He's written for the likes of Bell Biv Devoe, New Edition, Musiq Soulchild (which earned him a Grammy nomination), and many more. Within our scene he's been the voice of many hooks with Millyz, Lou Armstrong, Slaine, and other notables. It goes without saying that EVERYBODY should know this man's name and hear his story of perseverance which is far from over! CHECK OUT ALL OF OUR CONTENT:

| Episode 149: "The "Shanelle" Bag" (w/ Derek Gaines aka Amerika) | 14 Nov 2022 | 01:57:25 | |
It's been quite a while since we've sat across from a guest who lives so heavily in the social media comedy space; 84 episodes ago to be exact. Everybody loves a good laugh and within the last the last 5-10 years the internet has been completely undefeated. During that time, there have been some emerging talents within our own city who have made a name for themselves whether it be from online skits, stand-up, and even films. Amongst those names, one of the stand outs have been Derek Gaines who often goes by his alias "Amerika". Starting off with an assortment of hilarious skits with some of his friends, the Roxbury native was able to build a sizable following in and outside of The Commonwealth. Leaving home for growth worked in his favor as he's also been able to create some pretty cool relationships with other entertainers and even manages some of the day-to-day operations for Mona from "Dont Call Me White Girl" podcast (who was previously a co-host on Gillie & Wallo's "Million Dollars Worth Of Game" podcast). It's been a long time coming but we definitely wanted to give Amerika his flowers and catch some rec all while getting to know the comedian some more. Join Charlie MaSheen, Shanelle Shanté, and KASH as they host Derek Gaines and talk about his start in comedy skits, why Mona would come for Mattapan the way she recently did on her podcast, how Shanelle could potentially ruin a bag for us, ALL LADIES NEED TO STAY AWAY FROM THE GUY WHO CREATD "MOE MONEY PROMOTIONZ", and so much more! | Episode 148: "Domingo's Son" (w/ Termanology) | 07 Nov 2022 | 02:03:17
There's no greater feeling than when we have a repeat guest and we're able to track the progress from our previous sit down with them. In reality if there is no progress there probably wouldn't be a 2nd sit down. In this case we're talking about one of the most consistent Rap artists in the game, let alone Massachusetts! Termanology left our podcast last November with 43 projects out in total and returned this week with 45! The Hip-Hop staple made his way to eXpozedTV Studios for the first time and gave us a conversation that literally made us feel like it was a continuation of our last. On this episode Charlie MaSheen, Shanelle Shanté, and KASH host the Lawrence native and talk about his last two albums "Start 2 Finish" (with Paul Wall) and the most recent "DeTERMination". The unexpected collaboration with Paul Wall was not only a surprise to Hip-Hop fans everywhere, but it was an instant classic and in most cases gave fans a new-found respect from the Houston chop-and-screwed rapper. DeTERMination gave a feel of nostalgia with the intro from DJ Kay Slay and features from the likes of Tony Sunshine, Fredro Starr, & the legendary Kool G Rap!!! Besides music we also touched on Termanology's coveted brand "Good Dad Gang" which had a recent collab with Ewing Athletics as he released his own sneaker, his support for other Mass artists like Bia, Millyz, & Wizz Dakota, the passing of the rapper's father, & SO MUCH MORE! When Term agreed to this interview he told us he wasn't rapping but he surprised us with a CLASSIC #RedCupsAndRap freestyle and also brought along a friend Fabeyon from Springfield to bless us with even more heat! | Episode 147: "Views From The Pit" (w/ Angel Ocasio) | 31 Oct 2022 | 01:52:18
For most music enthusiasts, the best way for them to feel connected to their favorite artists is through live performances. Seeing their favorite records come to life is probably the closest they’ll ever get to said artist. In the instances that they aren’t privy to these experiences they may heavily rely on videos or photos to capture the moments on those stages and there are people who help capture the vibes. Angel Ocasio is one these people and he’s had the opportunity to shoot some stunning photos of some of the biggest artists in all types of genres of music. Names like J.I The Prince of N.Y, Lil Uzi Vert, Tokischa, and Bad Bunny are some of the musicians Angel has had the chance to take some pictures of. With him being from Framingham and us catching wind of his talents, it’s only right that we had to get the take of music from the perspective of a “Creative Dot Connector” as he likes to describe it. | Episode 146: "Hearse In A Verse" (w/ FUNERAL Ant Bell) | 24 Oct 2022 | 01:09:55
When a lot of Hip-Hop artists are asked how they began writing music, you often get an answer that revolves around poetry and creative writing. Popular belief would lead you to believe that some of the best lyricists have that kind of background and make thought provoking music that defines more than just a song. This holds true for the #SouthEnd native, FUNERAL Ant Bell! Since hearing some of his music for the first time in 2020, we were instantly drawn to his descriptive writing which almost sounds like he’s right in front of you delivering a message. Street inspired but never violently glorifying the “culture” is the best way to describe the young MC and he has a great story to tell. Join #CharlieMaSheen & #KASH as they welcome FUNERAL Ant Bell to the pod for the first time and more than likely not the last. On this episode we talk about the rapper’s latest body of work “There’s Glory In the Fire, Vol. 1”, his upbringing and influences in music, his affiliation w/ #Avenue & #WordsSpeakLife and SO MUCH MORE‼️ And once again we were givin a #RedCupsAndRap freestyle that we’re sure many will be talking about for a while‼️LINK IN BIO— TAP IN‼️ CHECK OUT ALL OF OUR CONTENT: http://www.linktr.ee/CWTFBradio #ChooseWhatTheFutureBrings #CWTFB #BlackCultureThroughMusic #Boston #Podcast #BostonPodcast #BlackPodcast #MusicPodcast #BostonMusicPodcast #ChynoV #BostonRap #NewEnglandHipHop #HipHopCulture #BostonCulture #MaSheenMondays #BostonHipHop #DopeBlackPods #YoutubePodcasts #ExpozedTVStudios #ExpozedTVNetwork CHECK OUT ALL OF OUR CONTENT:
| Episode 145: "Not Ya Average Dro" (w/ Alejandro Blanco) | 18 Oct 2022 | 01:47:57 | |
2022 has been the year of the worker. While some were still talking about 2020 and last year, the doers brushed yesterday off and got their “right now” on! One of the proactive artists who has been working tirelessly this year is definitely Alejandro Blanco. With his traction from “A3” that dropped in 2021, the multi-talented crooner gave us 2 albums and 1 EP and the year isn't even over yet! The last night we got to talk to the Fearless Music Group star, it was over a year ago when he pulled up on us with a lot of his crew. This time around we wanted to get a little more personal so we invited Alejandro Blanco to the pod solo and tackled a lot of topics. This might be one of our most controversial podcast to date and as equally as WILD & HILARIOUS ‼️ Join Charlie MaSheen, Shanelle Shanté, & KASH as they interview Blanco and talk about his most recent bodies of work including “First Born” & “Like Last Time”, his work w/ the Super Smash Bros & Wizz Dakota, a crazy game of “F*ck, Marry, Kill” and SO MUCH MORE‼️ We also ended the episode with a perfect #RedCupsAndRap freestyle from Kil The Artist! | Episode 144: "Edumacation" (w/ Ned Wellbery (Leedz) of Leedz Edutainment) | 10 Oct 2022 | 01:55:45
Some people outside of the commonwealth may not know much about the Boston Rap/Hip-Hop scene but they might know the name Leedz Edutainment and the venue “The Middle East” in Cambridge. There was a time when those two names went hand in hand. For about 20yrs Ned “Leedz” Wellbery basically owned all the major rap events that were taken place at that iconic landmark and brought out some of Rap’s biggest names to come rock the crowd. When you’re the face of anything, however, EVERYONE is going to have something to say about how you do things; even people like our hosts Charlie MaSheen & Kash. If you’ve followed our podcast its not a surprise that we’ve mentioned Leedz multiple times prior and the “pay to play” show structure— and how strongly against it we stood. It’s always refreshing to talk to an artist who has multiple layers of creativity up their sleeves. When it comes to rappers— a large majority are expected to touch on certain topics and maintain a certain image to make themselves appealing to the masses. Since the beginning of this podcast you’ve seen the name Dun Dealy as a reoccurring guest from Episodes 2, 77, 99, and now 140. This time we had the Feed The Family boss pull up shortly after the release of his most recent album “10 On A One”. We definitely revere that project as his best body of work to date and had a lot to say about it throughout this episode. Most artists have day-to-day managers and its been like that for quite some time now. While it’s not always necessary, it does become very convenient to have somebody who will manage your bookings, studio sessions, and more while you focus on the creative side of things. What makes a manager good at his or her job is variable and sometimes even intangible. Scoobz Frm Boston is one of those managers who’s network and skillset has allowed him to get his artists within some winning circles relatively quickly. Join #CharlieMaSheen & #KASH as they host Scoobz at #eXpozedTVstudios for a special podcast that starts with our hosts talking to the currently incarcerated artist #MizzieCash who’s down with a highly publicized case. We talk to Mizzie about his current mental state, whats next for him and also some insight on other artists on his unit like #7981Kal & #CincinnatiRose ‼️ We spoke to Scoobz Frm Boston about his early start in management & more and even had his newest artist #TeeRichh show off his skills for this week’s #RedCupsAndRap freestyle 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 This is definitely one of them ones so dont sleep— TAP IN‼️ #ChooseWhatTheFutureBrings #CWTFB #BlackCultureThroughMusic #Boston #Podcast #BostonPodcast #BlackPodcast #MusicPodcast #BostonMusicPodcast #BryanAngel #ChynoV #BostonRap #NewEnglandHipHop #HipHopCulture #BostonCulture #MaSheenMondays #BostonHipHop #DopeBlackPods #YoutubePodcasts #ExpozedTVNetwork CHECK OUT ALL OF OUR CONTENT:
| Episode 136: "Shootin' For Jeezus" (w/ MITYMAOSE) | 15 Aug 2022 | 00:53:52 | |
In the grand scheme of things, Boston has bred more music producers who have either worked with or placed for big name artists than vocal artists. While the internet has its advantages to bridge that gap, the guys behind the actual music tend to become unsung heroes unless their stories are being closely documented. This is why we wanted to take the time to give a Hyde Park native his flowers this week–none other than MITYMAOSE, a guy who is the architect of great sounds and has been working on his craft for over a decade! Early on in Mity's career he was one of Charlie MaSheen's go-to beat-makers and worked closely with various artists in the Boston area. He quickly took his talents to LA in a pursuit of something bigger and he's definitely found some of what he's been looking for. He's linked with LA based artists who are on their way to stardom, done work for the Kenya Barris/ABC hit "Black-ish" where he produced and wrote a record titled "Vote" which was performed by Jhene Aiko! He also earned a Grammy nomination for his work on Drake's album "Scorpion"– more specifically the record March 14! If we could have had MITYMAOSE on the show earlier we definitely would have but this sit down was inevitable. Join Charlie MaSheen & KASH as they reconnect with their bro Mity and talk about his career in LA, their past endeavors, whats next, and SO MUCH MORE! | Episode 135: "Pyrex Visionary" (w/ Shaykh Hanif) | 08 Aug 2022 | 01:24:12
Hailing from the South End area of Boston is the mellow flowing, thought provoking, and street referencing lyricist Shaykh Hanif! We first heard of Hanif years before starting the podcast, when he rapped under the moniker of “Nino Brown”—all while he was in prison serving a 10yr sentence 😳. Since his release he’s rebranded himself and teamed up with some other notable MCs from the scene while working on his solo career as well. If you recall, we talked to the “No Mistaking That” artist previously on the Feed The Family episode just before the release of that project and we expressed how we instantly took a liking to his music. The second time Shaykh Hanif made an appearance on the pod during the New Year‘s episode he put the bug in our ear to create a rating system for EPs & LPs which we now package as #RedCupsAndRatings ! This time we brought ‘Nif back to the couch for a solo sit down and to talk about his latest project “Pyrex Visionary“ amongst other things. Join Charlie MaSheen, Shanelle Shanté, & KASH as they host Shaykh Hanif in a conversation about his music, Islamic religion, his collaborations on his album including OT The Real, Last Days & Benny The Butcher to name a few & SO MUCH MORE‼️ It’s been a few weeks since we had a full host crew so you know we were kickin that Sh*t! | Episode 134: "Hart Made of Base" (w/ Fuego Base of BSF Records) | 01 Aug 2022 | 01:04:38
Like many metropolitan cities throughout the country, Hartford, Connecticut has a drastic duality to its identity. While some from affluent spaces view the 18 square mile city as the nation’s insurance capital, there is a grungier side to Hartford—the side that if you’re not from there, you don’t go there. Fuego Base, one of the newest signees to Benny The Butcher’s BSF Records is from that side of town. Within the past 3 years the lyrical and very street oriented MC has really made a name for himself on a national level and with his newly found platform, the game is his for the taking. With a slew of EPs and mixtapes including his most recent “Say Dat Again” and an assortment of freestyles on various platforms, Fuego Base has confidently proved that he can rap at a high level with some of the best of them—which is why we took a liking to his music, and now his story. We’ve been lucky enough to get Base to pull up on us as Charlie MaSheen & KASH hosts the “Tell My Momma Im a Rapper” creator. Join us as we learn more about Fuego Base’s side of Hartford and what his city is like, his relationship with Benny The Butcher, tour life with Boston’s own Last Days, what true success looks like for him, AND SO MUCH MORE‼️ We also were lucky enough to get some sharp and hard hitting bars for this weeks #RedCupsAndRap freestyle! When it comes to the music industry theres so many moving parts on what makes a successful artist. We often focus so much on the artistry and the actual art that we seldom hear about the guys playing the background. Coming from North Attleboro is Logan Forbes, the owner of Untitled Export Management and Untitled Export Studios. He got his start in the industry as a top photographer in the area and eventually became the day to day manager for #FatBoySSE which ultimately helped him plant his feet into the industry and help many with the the business side of music. | Episode 132: "Newest Veteran" (w/ Milly19) | 18 Jul 2022 | 01:13:52
The melodic, street-grungy yet vulnerable crooner rap is definitely a sound that many on the come up try to tap into. However, not every rapper can speak a certain way with a background to match. However, this week we welcome a Dorchester native from the Fields Corner area who has been slowly bubbling over the past few years with a gripping story to tell– Milly19! We've actually been privy to some past loose singles like "Graveyard" & "Hold Me" but it wasn't until he dropped his debut EP "Still Bleeding" this past Spring that we really got excited about what Milly could possibly accomplish with music. Forthcoming lyrics and tales of betrayal over catchy melodies are what this artist delivers to paint a picture of his hood. Join Charlie MaSheen & KASH as they host Milly19 in his first interview ever and talk about his upbringing, his influences, his creative process and SO MUCH MORE! | Episode 131: "From Ashy to Classy" (w/ EXITFAME) | 11 Jul 2022 | 01:47:30
When it comes to Hip-Hop artists from the hood, there is often a story told of triumph over tragedy. Many times these stories are intertwined with the protagonist seldomly appearing vulnerable but coming from a place of aggression and power. This is why we appreciate artists like EXITFAME, a man from the same circumstances but happened to make some mistakes which he owns and he faces today. His story is a story of overcoming addiction, pain, loss, and ultimately putting his faith into God and the God within him. EXITFAME is no stranger to the rap scene. in the early 2010s he made a push under the moniker of "Fame Flynt" and didn't lack when it came to other hard spitters. Recording early records with Boston-area stars like Last Days, Avenue, and Millyz, it was a clear indication of his lyrical ability. Sadly his journey took a hard turn and he fell into a downward spiral of incarceration and more short-comings. This episode is a very HARD look into EXITFAME's life and some of his darkest times. While Charlie MaSheen & KASH turn to humor to reveal these truths, Shanelle Shanté was here to offer a more subtle approach of peeling back some layers to the Dorchester-bred MC. To end off on a more intense note, EXITFAME delivers a jaw-dropping #RedCupsAndRap freestyle that is sure to please the toughest of critics. YOUT DO NOT WANT TO MISS THIS ONE!!! Genuine energy can't be reproduced and that holds true for this week's guest, Emanle' Ali! With an authentic story to tell and lyrical ability, it was no surprise that Emanle' began to make a name for himself in Boston over 10 years ago under the moniker of Jay Burna. In the most unfortunate circumstances, he wound up serving an accumulative 10 years in prison over the past 13 years. Undergoing his rebranding and creating new content for his growing fan base, Emanle' Ali is ready to deliver high quality music and make his presence felt at a high level while displaying his growth. Another week in the books and once again we have another Mattapan native to bless the platform with his story and charisma. When it comes to the rappers of now, storytelling isn’t as common but there are the artists who were influenced by the 90’s boom-bap and personify new school lyricism. With that being said, we’re proud to give you this podcast with Kadeem: a wordsmith who’s had the privilege of being eXpozed to multiple cultures that helped cultivate his unique story. | Episode 126: "Charge It To The Game" (w/ Kam'Geez) | 06 Jun 2022 | 00:55:29
After the “12 for 12” era in Boston Rap, there was an influx of rappers from the scene who came and went. There are others, however, who seemed to gain a solid following while creating at a high level over and over again. Amongst those names we have the laid back flow and sometimes melodic Kam’Geez. The Dorchester born, Chelsea raised “High-End Hustler” has earned the respect of many fellow creatives and while he hasn’t always been the most consistent, he’s always been able to keep his core following engaged with his loose singles and EP drops. Just like Charlie MaSheen described the “In Due Time” creator, Kam’Geez has been considered an unsung hero in the eyes of many supporters of our music scene. Over the years he’s worked with Boston names like Rosewood Bape, Pretty G G Pretty, Vanni Allan Poe, and a frequent collaborator FB fba Nyce Franklin. In 2020 you might have heard Kam’s carefully crafted flow on the Sylus Gambino record “Kill or Be Killed” with 8Zipp, also featuring Vanni Allan Poe. With a lot of eyes on the city right now because of some of our bigger named artists, it would be the perfect time to shift into gear and give the people some new work and set himself apart; which is exactly why Kam’Geez chose to come and talk to Charlie MaSheen & KASH on this weeks podcast. Join the guys as they talk about Kam’s creative process, how he plans to set himself apart, and the rollout of his latest project “Charge It to The Game”. We also ”rapped” it up with a dope #RedCupsAndRap freestyle on a classic beat that we actually used for last years cypher! Mental health has always been one of those topics within the Black community that hasn’t always been spoken about enough. Generationally, we have typically looked down on seeking help with mental health or maybe didn’t know if it was available or how to seek help. Things have started to change and Black representation is what is helping change the narrative. With May being “Mental Health Awareness Month” we called on the help of two names who are making waves within that space in our community, Kurt Faustin & Celeste The Therapist! Celeste The Therapist has always been a supporter of ours and also someone we look up to in the podcast space. Before her podcast “Celeste The Therapist” has been streaming in over 100 countries, she has always been an avid mental health advocate. Celeste now uses her platform to help others all over and shatter misconceptions of mental health within the Black community. We’ve all heard the phrase “controversy sells” time and time again, and while some buy in to that simple concept wholeheartedly, some want to go a more artistic route with their expression. King Brickz is one of the young artists who has shown us that he isn’t scared to put everything out on the table but also knows when to intentionally create for the sole purpose of creating art. Brickz is no stranger to the pod since he made his first appearance on Episode 70 and gave us one of the most talked about #RedCupsAndRap freestyles thus far. So much so we invited him to be a part of our first cypher in August of ‘21, which he describes on this new sit down. We also had him pull up to the studio to deliver some more heat for us which inevitably led us to this new moment. | Episode 123: "Love & Loyalty" (w/ Mikey Milano) | 16 May 2022 | 01:21:17
While some of the bigger names from the MA music scene happen to be 80's and 90's babies, we are beginning to get acquainted with the talent pool of the post 9/11 born creatives. Amongst that group is the Dorchester bred Mikey Milano; a melodic rapper who actually gets a lot of his acclaim from his singin abilities. We first caught wind of what he's doing musically when we heard about him singing the National Anthem at the historic Fenway Park before a Red Sox game. After finding out that he was only 19, we knew that this wouldn't be the lat time we heard his name. Growing up in the inner-city and witnessing crime and violence, it's no surprise that it ends up in the music of the artists from those areas. Mikey Milano has a great way of painting images from his neighborhood with vocal range. While the young crooner doesn't have a full project out yet, we were impressed with his online presence and invited him up to tell his story and what his next moves are. Join Charlie MaSheen, Shanelle Shanté, & KASH as they host Mikey Milano and talk about his music, his influences, his wants and needs musically, and how he speaks for his generation. | Episode 122: "Platform Pioneer" (w/ Noble of TheMUSEUM TV) | 10 May 2022 | 01:42:32
There was a time in Boston when there weren't too many media platforms capturing the culture within the music scene. Many have came and went, others rebranded themselves, some lost their sense of authenticity, but not many have stayed true and remained focused on the long game. Evolution is a process that will occur in anything that proves to be consistent and we've seen that displayed in the creator of TheMUSEUM TV, the visionary who goes by one very suiting name, Noble! Since 2014, Noble launched "TheMUSEUM TV -- Boston's Premier Vlog Exhibiting the Culture's Stories" and has never looked back while creating timeless moments and also inspiring others to do the same! A Boston native and a fan of all types of music, Noble witnessed there was a void in Black media out here. Instead of complaining about it, he did something about it and created his own platform. Since then many other brands have been spawned and he himself has upgraded his video blog along the way to keep things fresh. | Episode 120: "Learning 2 Unlearn" (w/ Ayana Bean) | 25 Apr 2022 | 01:41:27
A story that is now nationally known, started in our beloved city of Boston through the optics of the Trap Queen herself, Ayana Bean. If you've seen the BET special "American Gangster: Trap Queens" then you may have heard her name from season 1 as the college admissions advisor who stole multiple 6 figures to fund her lifestyle and invest into other endeavors. What started as a desperate attempt to dig herself out of a hole turned into what would land her in jail. Ayana has a very interesting story and to be honest we may have to have her back on the show to talk more about it. In what may be one of our most forthcoming podcasts to date, Ayana opened up about some things we learned from the BET special, her memoir "A Year & A Day: Memoirs of a regular girl", and also some things we just had to hear from her! Join Charlie MaSheen & Shanelle Shante as they host Ayana Bean and talk about certain pats of her early life, her connections in the music industry, her 2 jail bids, her new book & MUCH MUCH MORE! | Episode 119: "REEK What You Sow" (w/ Reko aka REEKSHOTME) | 18 Apr 2022 | 01:05:10
Our hosts all grew up in the music video era. Greats like Hype Williams, Director X, Benny Boom and more have given them and many others within their generation timeless visuals that made classic Hip-Hop/Rap records come alive. As we continue to expand our audience and attempt to capture our music scene within Mass as a whole, it's only right we talk to the ones creating the visuals to OUR classics. Who else better to start with than the super creative ex ball player out of Taunton, Reko aka REEKSHOTME! Reko got her start creatively as a photographer about 6 years ago a then transitioned to videos 3 years later. We caught on to her from work with some of our favorites like the VB boys and BoriRock. She also was in the building with us at the '21 BMAs as she was nominated for Music Videographer of the year for her work with Neemz and other homegrown stars. While she plays the background as a director, Reko's personality is what draws a lot of people to her and makes her network so valuable. Join Charlie MaSheen & KASH as they host REEKSHOTME and talk about her start within the scene, her being sexually liberated and unapologetically displaying it online, and other current topics like Druski & Benzino; which led into to an interesting back-and forth about Hip-Hop vs the trans community. We did not include a #RedCupsAndRatings segment as we honored the life of Blazo Santana instead. RIP King. DONT MISS OUT ON THIS ONE–FULL VISUAL DROPPING 4/20! | Episode 118: "Pap Culture" (w/ DJ Papadon) | 11 Apr 2022 | 01:36:57
DJs are the most important part of music and we're always delighted when we get to talk to one who has done a lot for the culture. Since Charlie MaSheen's "Quarantine Series" talk with the legendary DJ Chubby Chub, we haven't had the chance to sit with a DJ but we got lucky enough to fit into the schedule of one of the most in demand names in our scene, DJ Papadon! If you listen to the radio, you might've heard his name on Boston's top Hip-Hop station on Friday nights. If you go to certain venues within Boston and surrounding areas, then you've heard Papadon controlling the vibes with the hottest new music. If you're a fan of MA's own BIA then you've definitely seen his name as her DJ at a show or one of their residencies. We've even been lucky enough and had the opportunity of having DJ Papadon spinning at our 1st official Rap Cypher at Le Trap Couture! Needless to say, Pap has gotten around in many circles when it comes to music and this might be one of our best interviews yet with one of Boston's biggest personalities! Join Charlie MaSheen, Shanelle Shanté, & KASH as they host DJ Papadon and talk about his career in rap, being BIA's tour DJ, Boston's music scene and SO MUCH MORE!!! It’s been a whole 2 years since we’ve had Cakeswagg pull up on us and in that time a whole lot has changed for the better on both of our sides! The femcee hasn’t idled on her musical journey while shes been packing out shows, sharpening her skills and delivering the sophisticated yet fun/witty lyrics that made us become fans of hers. Cake has also been involved in theater as she’s been starring in plays and also been educating the youth on the topic and more. Most recently, Cakeswagg has released her latest body of work “Michelin Star” which we deemed as her most personal work and her sharpest! CHECK OUT ALL OF OUR CONTENT:

| Episode 116: "Black Over Blue" (w/ Sadiddy Dev) | 28 Mar 2022 | 01:12:38 | |
Black men vs law enforcement is a battle that is generations old and shows very little indication on bridging the gap any time soon. In most cases the biggest gang in the US, which is the police, come out triumphant in any altercation with the Black men they apparently fear so much. In February of '21 another traffic stop that ended with a Black man in jail involved Mattapan's own Sadiddy Dev. Unlike most cases, in just a year later, Dev is out of custody and free of the assault charges the MA State Police tried to pin on him! Welcome home family! Sadiddy Dev is no stranger to the music scene in Boston although he's spent some gaps of time away from his craft fighting cases. The street stories filled with ambition, pain, and hard hitting punchlines are why we grew to love Dev's style of music. Now that he's home again we're hopeful for a strong push of new content that will contribute to the fast growing scene. Join KASH & Charlie MaSheen as they welcome Sadiddy Dev to the podcast for the first time as he talks about his notorious case vs the MA State Police officer who will probably always need a partner with him now, new and old music, how he got his name and some FILTH regarding women 🤣! We had to close this one out with a CRAZY #RedCupsAndRap freestyle to a classic 50 Cent instrumental! Dont miss out on this one!!! | Episode 115: "Teaching Patients" (w/ Chilla Jones) | 21 Mar 2022 | 01:30:18
When it comes to the Battle Rap world, you'd have to be completely oblivious to what's going on if you've never heard of Chilla Jones! One of the greatest battlers to ever grace a stage is also one of the greatest lyricists to ever come out of the city of Boston; which is often referred to by Chilla as Bosstown! One of the first established names to give us a co-sign and give us one of the most underrated freestyles we've had the chance to house is BACK to the pod, and as always got a fully loaded clip with him! It's been 86 episodes since Chilla Jones has been on the podcast and a lot has changed on both ends since that initial interaction. Since then he's told us about his musical plans with his brother, Mr. Jones, who is an R&B artist – but he didn't disclose the big plans he had about a Hip-Hop Masterclass he had up his sleeve. Chilla teamed up with Mickey Facts and some other creatives to create Pendulum Ink, which will completely change the face of independent artist development and give up-and-coming artists an opportunity to sharpen their skills at a high level! Along with his recent EP "Love Jones" that he released with his brother under the name "Jones Ink", Chilla Jones pulled up on us with a lot to talk about and also TORE THE HOUSE DOWN with a #RedCupsAndRap freestyle that may arguably be the best we've ever heard! Join Charlie MaSheen & KASH as we host one of our favorites and one of the most talented! BE SURE TO GO STREAM/DOWNLOAD "Love Jones" by Jones Ink AVAILABLE ON ALL DSPs!!
