The San Jose Barracuda fell 3-1 to the Colorado Eagles in Game Four at Blue Arena in Loveland, CO of the Division Semifinals of the Calder Cup Playoffs, and were eliminated from the 2025 American Hockey League Calder Cup Playoffs.

The San Jose Barracuda (2-1-0-0) got 26 saves from Yaroslav Askarov en-route to a 5-0 win over the Iowa Wild (0-3-0-0) on Saturday night at Tech CU Arena in front of 3,942 fans. In the victory, Donovan Houle scored his first two AHL goals and Luca Cagnoni also netted his first in the AHL. Askarov now has shutouts in his first two games with the Barracuda, making 48 saves in 120 minutes of action. It was his 11th career shutout and he has now won seven in a row versus the Wild dating back to the 2022-23 season.
