Gannon Stauch was an 11-year-old boy who lived with his father, stepmother, sister and step-sister in Colorado Springs, Colorado. On January 27, 2020, Gannon was reported missing by his stepmother, Letecia Stauch, who claimed he had gone to a friend's house and never returned. Within days a massive search operation was launched to find Gannon, involving law enforcement, the national guard, and volunteers from the surrounding community. The search lasted for several weeks and covered a large search area.
