In the 9th episode of Cricket with the West Coast Infidels wherein we talk about

How India clinched a 2-1 test cricket series victory over Australia for the fourth time in a row. While we talk at length about the test in Ahmedabad, we also do a review of the series as a whole and in particular which players stood out. A test at the Ferozeshah Kotla or should we say the Arun Jaitley Stadium has become synonymous with an India victory. It has been something like 36 years since anyone beat India at the Kotla. For all the craziness associated with the DDCA, there is no denying that they have consistently been Team India's best test cricket host.

As part of the preview for this test we will discuss the likely team compositions, the sort of track that we will see and while we are at it we will celebrate the 100th test of India's 2nd best #3.

The episode will wrap up with a little chat about the recent WPL player auctions

In this episode the WCI team will give you our perspective of the Nagpur Test - who did well, who did not, what should Australia do to recover from the poor loss in this first test.

The second part of this episode focuses on the first test to be played in Nagpur in particular the impact of injuries on the two teams

This episode takes us through the last two Border Gavaskar Trophy series played in India.

The series in 2013 when India beat Australia 4-0 under the leadership of M.S.Dhoni who continued his tremendous run against Australia at home. The series score notwithstanding the matches were most certainly competitive and India triumphed by winning the bigger moments.

The series in 2017 was far more closer and could easily have finished with a different score-line than the 2-1 in favor of India. While the first test was a blowout, the other tests were all tight and provided some very interesting moments.
