The Love is Blind Ohio reunion is out and it did NOT disappoint. Let me break down everything that went down.
Alex – The Grossest Human on This Show
I officially hate Alex more than Chris. That's saying something.
He had the audacity to say Ashley "hasn't healed from her past relationships" and that's why she was asking so many questions. What a gaslighter.
Wrong, Alex. Ashley learned from her mistakes. She's not putting blinders on anymore. The fact that he had a problem with questions? It's because he's a lying sack of shit.
I loved when Nick Lachey asked him about his soccer analogy and he got stumped. "We're tied 3-3." I cannot with this man.
Ashley admitted she woke up that morning, wrote out her speech, and got in that wedding dress knowing exactly what she was going to do. I still wish she'd left sooner—but Alex deserved every word.
Jordan & Amber – I Called It
Surprise, surprise. They're done.
Jordan went back to his real life—living near the bars, partying with friends, expecting Amber to drive 45 minutes to see HIM every weekend. Meanwhile she's a single mom killing it in her career.
45 minutes. That's it. And he couldn't show up for her.
Distance is not the issue. The person is the issue. Jordan is a man-child who wanted to drink with his boys. Bye bye.
Vic & Christine – The Standard
I love them. Vic said "I can't see you, but I see you" and I got goosebumps.
This is what exists. Emotionally mature, soulful, faith-centered men who cherish their partners. My husband Will is like this. These men are out there—don't let this season make you lose faith.
Devonta & Brittany – She Still Doesn't Get It
Devonta showed up ENGAGED. To someone else. And they're having a baby.
The same man who told Brittany he "wasn't ready for marriage."
And Brittany is still saying she "fell in love with him"?! I need her to reflect on what exactly she loved because I have no clue.
If she doesn't get crystal clear, she's going to end up on the hamster wheel with another Devonta. Another man giving her breadcrumbs. I'm calling it now.
Brittany - burn that wedding dress.
Bri & Connor – They Won Me Over
Plot twist: they're together. And I actually believe them now.
Bri took full accountability for entertaining Chris's bullshit. That takes emotional maturity. And the way she spoke about Connor? I felt it. They're bringing out the best in each other.
The Bottom Line?
The men on this season were a shit show. But they are NOT a representation of what's out there. Amazing men exist—don't lose faith.
And if you see an Alex, Chris, Jordan, or Devante in your life? Run.
