Is something really a mistake if you can correct it from happening next time...or is it a learning experience! Fop dives into misteaks that they have made personally as well as common errors seen in law enforcement. Work hard to do the job right and learn from others mistakes. 

We recorded this episode prior to the horrific assassination attempt on former President Trump. However, we wanted to communicate our position as an organization and let our voice and vote count. Bret and the boys go over a few politcal positions and we start to get into a heavy political season. 

With summer in full swing and no sign of things slowing down, go find your latest FoP event and grab some of the famous chicken! Bret illuminates the crowd as to the recipies origin. Finally, don't stand outside of FoP headquarters expecting anything when they have to go record!

If you had a chance to choose between baking in 100+ degree heat in a polyester suit or enjoy some open roads while on patrol while everyone is tucked in bed, which would you choose? The FoP boys go over the pros and cons of being on the beat during the heat. 

Bret laid out a great sceneario of the huge plight for the modern officer...it's 3am, you have tracked down the suspect and are currently wating proceed with an arrest...where is your warrant? Do you call and wake up a judge or try and track down paperwork that will be impossible to find? Cloud Gavel is an electronic warrant system from Fusion Stak and Casey Roussel is on board with us today to spread some Lousiana culture as well as go over their electronic warrant solution.

Sometimes the job that needs to be done is one that isn't fun, sexy or safe. Our police officers go to work everyday to keep the community and families safe and in a good place. Nobody is perfect in a world full of choas but having trained, intelligent and invested police officers makes a hell of a difference. 

Well it's finally time for Bret Rawson to go off with his shiny new bleep button. Everyone gets in on the fun by the end of the episode. Buckle up and grab your ear muffs. 

Sharpening the saw or taking care of yourself is a critical element inside and outside law enforcement. If you are not bringing your best to the job every day, you and those your serve will suffer. The FoP boys go through some great tips, anecdotes and advice on how to stay sharp, intelligent and engaged out on patrol. Finally, Brent brings his best dad jokes to the table. 

Getting the new year of right by heading slightly down south to the Utah County chapter of the FoP. Kyle Curtis is the chapter head for Utah County and shares how the FoP is working with and helping to improve policing in that part of the state.  

The FoP boys are joined by friend of the program and The Order, Danny King. Danny checks in from Las Vegas/Henderson Nevada in order to continually review police use of force and why this is such a sticky but important issue. 

The FoP boys sit down in order to look at our political landscape as things continue to heat up for national elections. Bret's take is that "we are not party affiliaited...and call it like we see it." How are these national issues affecting officers both across the country and here in the Intermountain West.
