OK, so this episode is a little different.
I want to take you behind the scenes to show you how I work with my clients to uncover their “hidden” gifts, talents and special branding sauce they can amplify in their businesses.
Because if you’re in business, your message HAS TO BE UNIQUE if you want to sell.
❌ You cannot copy someone else’s message.
You need to find your own voice and use it in a way that works for you.
You also need to deeply understand who you’re selling to.
As a copywriter, I’ve worked with dozens (maybe even hundreds) of clients on their brand messaging and tone of voice.
Before astrology, I would try to get into their heads, watch all their videos, read all their blogs, and ask loads of questions to find out as much as I could about them and their personal style.
I still think this is all really important and I still do this to an extent.
But what I do now goes so much deeper.
When I look at a client’s astrology chart I can see a whole load of stuff I’m not going to find on their YouTube channel, their blog or their sales page.
I can see their approach to life and business, what they most WANT to be known for, the types of things they value, love and admire, and the way they naturally communicate and see the world.
When I’m working with a client on their branding or brand message specifically, I focus on 3 main areas of their birth chart:
The Rising Sign
The Midheaven or MC
Venus
These 3 areas are what I’ve discovered are central to their brand style.

OK, so 2022 didn’t exactly pan out how we expected… Or did it?
I mean there was still a lot of processing and integrating going on since the events of 2020 and 2021.
As a collective, we’ve been facing some very BIG issues – war, climate change, food shortages, floods, fires and earthquakes, political unrest and division, and continuing gun violence... not to mention how we navigate life in a post-pandemic world.
This year has felt like A LOT.
And I think that’s a symptom of the astrological energy we’ve experienced combined with the real-life events that have played out.
But what about in your business?
Have you experienced the growth you expected?
Have you had any major endings or beginnings this year?
I know that for me, this year has seen some really significant changes in my business.

Managing your Moon for more fulfilment and happiness in business

One of the amazing things about astrology is that it really can help you become happier.
I mean where does happiness come from?
It comes from being fully seen, witnessed, and understood in this lifetime, right?
It comes from having the environment, work, friends, relationships, and activities that feel fulfilling to you.
And not everyone’s version of happiness is the same.
We're all searching for different things when it comes to our fulfillment.
For one person, playing a round of golf might be hugely relaxing and invigorating – for someone else it would be the most boring few hours of their life. 😱
The truth is, astrology can help give us the clarity to STOP doing the things we hate and instead focus our attention on the things we truly love and the places and people we want to be with.
So, let’s take a look at one of the key 'planets' that can point us towards finding your inner happiness and fulfillment – The Moon.
If you’ve listened to my Working with the Moon episode, you’ll know that in astrology the Moon represents our emotions, our subconscious reactions, and our instincts and intuition.
The zodiac sign the Moon was when we were born represents who we are when we’re AT HOME.
This is the person we are internally – before we’ve had time to think about who we’re trying to be or filter ourselves.
It shows us our needs and gives us a lot of clues to help us come back to our sense of equilibrium and fulfillment.

Feeling scattered? Mars Retrograde energy is tricky – here’s why

Feeling scattered? Maybe a bit lethargic?
Got a lot going on but not making much ‘real’ progress?
It could be because Mars is retrograde in Gemini…
Let’s unpack this today. 📦📦📦
Mars moved into Gemini in August, and in this zodiac sign – Mars is quite curious.
It’s got a lot of ideas on the go (sometimes a few too many…😳)
Mars is also going to be moving backwards (or at least that’s what it will look like from our perspective here on Earth) for several months from now until mid-January 2023.
👉 This is likely to have a significant impact on what you can get done in your business.
Basically when a planet goes retrograde (particularly Mars) we can feel like we’re moving 3 steps forward, 2 steps back; or having to re-do things a few times…
In my opinion, this retrograde energy is something you can learn to embrace in your business to really refine what you want to be DOING.
Mars is a DOING energy so we’re going to be reconsidering how we expend our energy in our businesses.
Mars is related to our ability to focus, so when it’s retrograde (particularly in a sign like Gemini where it likes to do lots of things) you can have a lot of difficulty in focusing your energy and getting those ‘masculine’ type tasks underway.
You might also notice more frustration and even fatigue – especially if you have strong Mars energy or a Mars-ruled chart (which I’ll explain shortly).
However, when Mars goes direct in mid-January, it’ll start moving forward quite quickly.
This means you may notice you can get a flurry of things done all at once, so it could be good to plan for a more active January-February than usual in 2023.
This retrograde is going be most strongly felt by people with Mars-ruled charts – that’s Aries and Scorpio Rising, as well as those who have Gemini Rising (because it’s happening in your 1st house of identity).

How a Uranus transit completely changed my business

I feel like I’m ready to go a bit further into something deeply personal that’s transpired for me over the past 3+ years…
And of course, it’s all tied to one of life’s BIG astrological transits –
🪐 Uranus through the 1st house. 🪐
In this week’s episode, I dive into the history and mythology associated with the planet Uranus and why this outer planet packs such a HUGE punch.
Then we explore what actually happened when I had Uranus move into my 1st house and cross over my ‘ascendant’ or specific Rising Sign degree.
Let’s just say there were a few shocking or unexpected developments in my life and business (you’ll have to listen to get all the details 😉).
In a nutshell, Uranus is considered an ‘awakening’ planet.
In your chart, it’s there to challenge all that’s stale and predictable.
It’s unconventional and anti-establishment, and very much associated with us developing our own AUTHENTICITY.
There's also a cutting away or a separating associated with Uranus.
It brings a sense that we need to individuate or define ourselves in our own right, which can sometimes mean separating from our past, our societal patterns, and/or some significant relationships.
The truth is, my Uranus transit changed SO MUCH in my life that I’m still in the process of integrating it all, but I’ve noticed a few key things:
>> I have a deeper sense of freedom in how I communicate.
>> I’ve stopped caring as much about what people think.
>> I’ve started focusing more on what feels TRUE to me.
That’s the real beauty of a Uranus transit.
You don’t have time for the BS anymore.
Overall, I am incredibly grateful for my Uranus transit and I know many people who have experienced a major transit like this go on to find more fulfillment in life afterward.
It’s literally a coming of age.
Something you can only learn with time and a hell of a lot of patience as it’s happening!

So, what are eclipses exactly?
They are special kinds of Full and New Moons, and they only happen when the Earth, Sun and Moon are all perfectly aligned.
These are spectacular astrological events where the Moon or the Sun appears to change quite dramatically (from our perspective here on Earth).
And for that reason, they’ve often been associated with dramatic changes in our lives.
In this podcast episode, we’re going to talk about how to deal with eclipse season and what it might mean for you and your business.
Eclipses have a reputation for being tricky or challenging, but the truth is they can bring many benefits and blessings.

Planning your week by honoring the planets just takes this a step further and taps into some astrological energy to give each day a bit of a boost.
