| Coach Prime, Blue Jays, F1, PWHL draft, NFL week 2, UFC Noche review and Fight Night Apex preview! | 18 Sep 2023 | 02:00:12 | |
This was a solo podcast as Jason our regular analyst on Mondays was sick. There was a lot to cover in the world of sports as usual. The Colorado Buffaloes have become the talk of the college football world as Deion Sanders has become "Coach Prime" and taken the sport by storm. It was another big game on Saturday as they got a huge double OT win over their state rival Colorado State Rams 43 to 35. The offensive numbers were incredible and this was as entertaining a game as you are ever going to see! The stretch drive is officially on in MLB as most teams are down to their last dozen or so games in the regular season. The chases for the wild card playoff spots have a lot more drama than most of the division races. The focus here was on the Toronto Blue Jays battle for the last spot at the dance. Max Verstappen and the F1 Red Bull team finally had their winning streaks snapped in Singapore. The team had won all 12 races this season with Max winning a record 10 straight. Carlos Sainz with the Ferrari team was the winner with Lando Norris from Mclaren in second and Lewis Hamilton on the podium in 3rd( his 196th podium finish). Max ended up struggling all weekend and eventually finished 5th! They race in Suzuka, Japan this coming weekend. The inaugural draft in the PWHL was held this afternoon with al 6 original franchises filling out their rosters. Taylor Heise the University of Minnesota player was chosen first overall by Minnesota! It was a big splashy event and got a lot of media coverage! Week 2 of the NFL ends with two Monday Night games this evening. We did a great breakdown of every game from this week and a preview of tonight's tilts! There were 10 one score games in the league that is parity personified! The UFC held their latest fight night from the T Mobile arena in Vegas on Mexican Independence day. UFC Noche was dominated by Mexican fighters and fans! The Main event ended in a very controversial draw as Mexican Alexa Grasso retained her belt with the draw decision with Valentina Shevchenko! The card turned into an entertaining affair and showcased a lot of Latin talent on the roster. We briefly previewed this Saturdays latest Apex card Fiziev vs Gamrot! | Juneteenth day, Discuss Paul for Beal trade, Draymond opt out, Sweet Lou retirement & UFC Vegas 75 | 20 Jun 2023 | 02:25:05
We did the podcast on Juneteenth day, a very important holiday. We started with NBA stories like the big Chris Paul for Bradley Beal trade. We dug into the Draymond opt out and impending free agency, Lou Williams retirement announcement and Ja Morant's 25 game suspension. We broke down the UFC Vegas 75 card and previewed next week's card from Jacksonville! The NBA world was rocked with this big trade between the Phoenix Suns and the Washington Wizards with guards Chris Paul and Bradley Beal switching teams. There was big news out of San Fran as Draymond Green opted out of his 27.5-million-dollar 1 year deal with Golden State to become a free agent. It will be interesting to see what kind of offers the 4-time champion gets! Lou Williams one of the best bench role players in NBA history announced his retirement from the NBA after a 17-year career. Finally with talk about the association we discussed the 25-game suspension handed down to Ja Morant for conduct detrimental to the league for posting himself waving a guy around. We did a comprehensive break down of UFC Vegas 75 the featured an incredibly entertaining main event. Jared "Tha Killa Gorilla" Cannonier set a record for significant strikes landed on Marvin Vettori in an epic Middleweight battle at nearly 250 strikes. There were a lot of good performances from top to bottom on this card. Unfortunately, two fights were very poorly handled by the referees and one of them will be under investigation by the athletic commission. One ref is accused of severely screwing up a fight and being under the influence while doing so. The other referee had two huge errors in judgement on one fight and has been singled out for his mistakes. We previewed next weekends card that will take place in Jacksonville, Florida. The main event there is a great Featherweight battle between Josh Emmett and Ilia Topuria. We highlighted the top fights on the card and gave some predictions. We finished looking ahead to the NBA Draft that takes place this Thursday in Brooklyn at the Barclays Center. We went over the consensus top ten lottery picks and the teams that are selecting them. We also showcased a few top Canadian prospects that are expected to be drafted or work out for teams over the summer. Please go to our websites for lots of great content. www.completesportsmedia.com www.completemedianetwork.com Enjoy, Take care, Love yah, Bye for now!
| How to have fun just take examples from Tanner "Bulldozer" Boser who visited Complete Sports Media | 26 Apr 2021 | 01:13:01 | |
#UFC #MMA #Canadian #TannerBoser #Heavyweight #JiuJitsu #Karate #MuayThai #Kickboxing #WorldTraveler #Alberta #Edmonton #ShoCore This is a real treat to have this big guy as a guest for our sports podcast. Tanner ""The Bulldozer" Boser is a rising contender in the UFC Heavyweight division who has had 5 UFC fights. Tanner has a great and fun loving personality and we enjoyed our time with him. The UFC has scheduled a fight for June 5th for Boser against Illir Latifi the Swedish Heavyweight of Albanian descent. We spent a lot of time getting to know Tanner and were able to find out a lot of great things about his life. We have mutual friends in the band ShoCore and we thank Corey White and the band for helping us make this podcast episode happen! A lot of people and especially Canadian Mixed Martial Arts fans have been seeing a huge progression in Tanner with his strength and conditioning and his career. He has now become more well known off two big Knockouts in a one month span in the UFC Heavyweight Division. He has some of the best footwork in the division and has lethal leg kicks. His candor and no nonsense way about him has endeared him and helped contribute to his increasing popularity. He has a mullet, long beard and is missing one of his front teeth and that seems to appeal to many fight fans. We found him gracious and forthcoming as he talked about his life, career and even tough topics. We hope that you enjoy his conversation with us and you become fans of his as much as we have. There are a lot of stereotypes when it comes to Canadian's and Albertan's and he checks many of the good boxes when it comes to where he is from. He has led a typical life in some regards but luckily has had some great people in his life to help him achieve his goals and dreams. He started working at his Mother's gym and was able to start learning Jiujitsu and Karate at a very young age. He decided to leave his small home town of Bonnyville at 21 years of age to get more MMA training and opportunities. He has now travelled the world to countries like Russia, Kazakstan, South Korea, Australia, England, Abu Dhabi and Dubai and of course the US and Canada to fight and pursue his MMA career. His adventures and jouney have shaped his life and career and we are glad that he has emerged as a great contender and he is a big success story from Canada. We wish Tanner all the best in the future and really appreciate his valuable time. Thanks for tuning in as always! #Boxing #MMA #UFC #Fightnight # TannerBoser This episode started with a discussion about the latest boxing event put on by Triller Fight Club. It was really Tiger King for boxing and is giving the sport another black eye. This event had more rappers and music acts than fights. It featured at least two guys that have never had a professional boxing match in their life. The sport of boxing has had enough bad events and incidents that have started to relegate it to a fringe sport in North America. This could have been an all time low. Jake Paul has somehow garnered a huge follwing on social media and somehow convinced Triller to make him the main event. This entire night was strange, weird and really felt pathetic and embarrasing. None of us should have watched it and all of us wished we hadn't once it was done. The UFC on the other hand had another good fight card and we brokedown it at length. The Main event had the middleweight title challenger eliminator between Robert "Reaper" Whitaker facing Kelvin Gastellum. It was a one sided battle as "Bobby Knuckles" put himself back into the title picture in the middleweight division. His next opponent should be Israel Adesanya the belt holder and this rematch will be a can't miss matchup. We made a big announcement that Tanner Boser the current UFC Heavyweight contender would be a guest of the podcast next week and will appear on an upcoming episode. There were a lot of split decisions so close battles were the flavor of the evening. We had a lot of fun analysing the entire card from top to bottom. Please support our partners and sponsors and check out our website for details on them. You will find discounts and details of the companies involved. Also you will find new and archived episodes of the podcast for your viewing and listening pleasure. Enjoy, Take Care, Love yah, Bye for now!
| How to get your dream job talk to Jason Cameron with the Complete Sports Media team on their podcast | 13 Apr 2021 | 01:30:42 | |
#NHL #Tradedeadline #NBA #BLM #UFC #NFL We talked about Canada's unofficial holiday "NHL Trade Deadline Day". We like all Canadians were up at the crack of 5:00 AM to catch the big news. It was a relatively quiet day with only reportedly 16 deals involving 28 players and 16 draft picks. Once we got back to sleep and dissected the deals later and discussed a couple of trades. This sport is not exactly Jason's expertise so we got into discussing many others. We received word that all games involiving Minnesota teams were being postponed because of another police shooting of a black man. Duante Wright a 20 year old black man was killed by the Minneapolis police after a traffic stop. This put an already charged up city on high alert and has led to an imposed 23 hour curfew on three local counties. The high profile court case of Derek Chauvin the former police officer who killed George Floyd is in full swing and tensions have been rising as the testimony continued. This is yet another horrible tragedy and has brought up the Black Lives Matter movement and systemic racism debate back to the forefront. We discussed the NBA and the Golden State Warriors at great length as Steph Curry is set to break a huge record. We talked a little NCAA and the NFL to close out the episode. Enjoy, Take Care, Love yah, Bye for now!

#NCAA #MarchMadness #Gonzaga #Baylor #Stanford #Arizona #NBA #NFL #UFC We capped a great Easter long weekend off with a great podcast episode breaking down the fantastic weekend of sports! The most exciting moment of the weekend was the instant classic game in the NCAA college basketball semi final game between the Gonzaga Bulldogs and the UCLA Bruins. The score was close for the entire game with no team leading by more than six points. With the game in overtime UCLA hit a basket to tie it up at 90 with 3.3 seconds left when the ball was inbounded to Jalen Suggs. The Gonzaga guard ran down the floor and hoisted the ball up just past half and the ball banked off the glass and through the hoop to continue the undefeated season for the #1 team in the nation with the 93-90 victory. The shot propeled the Zags to the final against Baylor who has been the consensus #2 team in the nation this season. This has all the makings of an epic titanic battle for supremacy between the two best programs in 2021. The womens NCAA basketball tournament was finished on Easter Sunday April 4th and was a huge ratings success. The final game featured the Stanford Cardinal facing the Arizona Wildcats and was another really close and tight battle right until the end. Stanford won the National Championship for the first time in 29 years with a 54 to 53 win that went down to the final seconds. This was a great and fun tournament and has greatly increased the popularity of the womens game with a lot of close games throughout. The conversation switched to the NBA and we broke down a lot of the top stories that emerged over the last few days or week in the league. We briefly mentioned the NFL and the big trade of Sam Darnold the Jets QB to the Carolina Panthers for three draft picks. This will open up New York to draft a top college QB in the draft #2 overall. There was no UFC card this weekend but we looked ahead to next Saturdays card and the new addition of Kevin Holland replacing Darren Till in the main event against Marvin Vettori. The UFC has put together a trilogy fight between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier for July. The much anticpated announcement for Francis Ngannou's first title defense of his Heavyweight belt has hit some contract difficulites and has dominated the UFC news this week. The majority of fans and media are clamoring for a huge clash with Jon "Bones" Jones but has hit big snags because of compensation and lack of money offered to the challenger. #MLB #OpeningDay #NewYorkMets #BlueJays #BCHL #PentictonPod #NHL This is a great fun episode done on opening day of MLB and the eve of the BCHL regular season. We brokedown the league and got into detail of the game between the New York Yankees and Toronto Blue Jays. The Jays took the opening game 3 to 2 in 10 innings. We showed some highlights and discussed the game and the season ahead for the two teams. Cory is a life long New York Mets fan and we went into the prospects of the team for the 2021 season. Francisco Lindor the Mets shortstop signed a 10 year $341 Million dollar contract on the eve of the season. It was the third largest money ever handed out and it was widely applauded by the baseball world. We discussed every division in both leagues and who are the probable front runners for the division titles and the wild card playoff spots. We spent a lot of time breaking down the short abbreviated 20 game regular season schedule for the BC Hockey League. The league has put together 5 pods and will start these games starting April 2nd and will culminate in the end of the season in just over 5 weeks. #UFC260 #UFCApex #AndNew #NBA #NCAA #MarchMadness #NFL This Sunday edition of the Complete Sports Media podcast checks a lot of boxes. The biggest box is AND NEW for the baddest man on the planet! Francis Ngannou won his rematch with the Heavyweight G.O.A.T. Stipe Miocic in brutal fashion as he knocked him out to rip the belt from his grasp and become the new UFC Heavyweight Champion of the World. We have some reaction videos from his hometown and one of his biggest supporters in Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya. This sets up the newly crowned king with a possible superfight with the G.O.A,T of any weight class Jon "Bones " Jones. There was a twitter tirade from the former Light Heavyweight Champ Jones and it could harm the negotiations for this titanic battle. There were a lot of other great fights on the card and we break down the majority of them. We spoke about the NBA trade deadline and the moves made and not consumated on Thursday, The Raptors sent Norm Powell to Portland for two players Gary Trent Jr. and Rodney Hood. The two teams faced each other three days later to immediately analyze the trade face to face. Portland came out on top 122 to 117 as the game was happening as we were recording this episode. The leader Kyle Lowry who is the G.R.O.A.T Greatest Raptor of all time wasn't dealt at the deadline as most of the world had speculated that he would be. There were other deals made that seemed to make the rich get richer in the Association. We broke down the trades and signings and had a lot of fun discussing them. We completed the episode by talking about a few of the off season happenings in the NFL. The league wants to expand the schedule to 17 games and have worked out a new huge social media deal. The full extent of the agreements weren't released but the details were that it could be worth up to 100 billion dollars over 11 years. #NBA #ElginBaylor #Raptors #UFC #Apex #NFL #DeshaunWatson This was the best podcast we have ever done with Jason Cameron. We had a great flowing conversation and discussion of the weekend of sports. This episode started with us speaking about the legend and Hall of Famer Elgin Baylor who passed away today at the age of 86. One of the greatest basketball players in history deserved a lot of great tributes and kudos for a life well lived. We showed a little clip of some of his career highlights and we spoke about his incredible basketball career. We talked about many other aspects of the Association and the Raptors at length. The UFC had a great card that we went into great detail breaking down. The main event was Derek Brunson facing Kevin Holland and it was a very one sided match with Brunson dominating and taking the five round decision. There were two postponements from the card and we showed some clips of weight cutting troubles that led to one of the fights being pulled from the card. We ended our conversation talking about the NFL and Deshaun Watson and the 13 lawsuits that have been filed against him this past week by women he has paid to give him massages. They have accused him of inappropriate conduct and harrasment etc. He has denied all of the accusations but it sure seems like it is going to be big trouble for him, the Texans and the NFL. | How to survive going stir crazy? Just breakdown the UFC, NBA and NFL with Jason Cameron on Complete Sports | 09 Mar 2021 | 01:46:40
#Covid We are in day 10 of the latest 14 day quarantine. We had a great weekend consuming sports ansd especially the UFC 259 frpm Vegas and the NBA All Star game from Atlanta, It was a historic card in the UFC as there were three title fights on the card. The first belt changed hands in one of the most controversial finishes in UFC history. Petr Yan the champ was disqualified and had to relinquish the strap when he delivered an illegal knee to the challenger Aljimain Sterling. This was the first Championship decided by a disqualification. The ending of that fight put a cloud over the rest of the event. The 2nd belt on the line pitted Champ Champ Amanda Nunes defending her Featherweight belt and it was really a non event as she swarmed Megan Anderson and forced her to tap to a submission 2:03 We broke down the NBA All Star game and the festivities surrounding the event. There was a lot of money raised and quite a bit of entertainment with this strange Covid world with no fans. Team Lebron beat team Durant handily 170 to 150 and Giannis Antetokounmpo won the MVP without missing a shot. He won the Kobe Bryant MVP award going 16 for 16 from the field with even a couple of three pointers. The other two stars were Steph Curry( 3 point shootout winner) with 31 points and Damian Lillard with 32 points himself. They were both 8 for 16 each from three point land and launched many of them from very very long distance. it is such a pleasure to watch both of them play and dial up from long distance. We watched some footage from a new sport in Russia that has combined wrestling and rugby on a basketball court. It was crazy to watch and if you haven't seen it look up Rugball. We finished up the episode by talking about the NFL and the biggest story of the day was the Dallas Cowboys signing of QB Dak Prescott to a 4 year $164 Million dollar deal. This contract makes him the second highest paid quarterback in thr league. We will see if it pays off for this team over the length of this huge contract. Baseball and softball is played by 65 Million people worldwide in 140 different countries and 16 Million in the US. Joey is the author of four books on hitting and has helped thousands of kids and adults improve their hitting. The discussion started with Joey getting into the main principles of the Catapult Loading System whcih propelled his book into a bestseller on Amazon. He really explained in detail the techniques to drive the ball farther. Joey is from Fresno, California which is located in the central part of the state. Fresno is known for many things but baseball is in the lifeblood of the city. There are many reasons for the incredible hotbed it has always been. In no particular order great weather, top coaching, amazing programs are all keys to the pipeline of talent. Great players such as Tom Seaver, Bobby Bonds, Bobby Cox, Matt Garza among many others originated from Fresno. California "The Golden State" has produced the most major leaguers in history with over 2300 players making the big leagues. There were 24 Hall of fame players with Barry Bonds, Ted Williams, Randy Johnson and Tom Seaver topping the list. Joey and his lab are going to continue to keep California producing great talent and we are hopng that his reach can now spread across the continent. The baseball talk turned to Canadian ball and 255 players have made major league rosters from the Great White North. Some of the top players were spoke about like Larry Walker, Ferguson Jenkins, Joey Votto, Justin Morneau, Mike Soroka, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and James Paxton were all brought up. There are only five MLB teams that draft the majority of Canadians and those teams were brought up. | Lebron hurt, Dame 71 pts, Joker 99th triple dub, Russel Wilson coup, UFC Vegas 70, UFC 285 preview | 28 Feb 2023 | 01:39:02
#nba #lameloball #Lebron #dametime #joker #UFCVegas70 #ufc285 A great discussion on one of the best NBA weekends ever! Huge games, Dame Time keeps getting better, Nikola Jokic closer to a third straight MVP. What an incredible weekend in the regular season. The highest scoring regular season game in history Sacramento beat the LA Clippers 176 to 175. Damian Lillard scorches the Rockets for 71 Points on an incredible shooting display! Nikola Jokic gets his 99th Triple Double of his great career in a big win 40 points 17 rebounds and 10 assists beating the Clippers in overtime. There were two big injuries in the Association Lamelo Ball broke his ankle and Lebron James injure his foot and will miss several weeks. The UFC Vegas 70 card was dealt a big blow as just hours out the main event was canceled as Nikita Krylov was deemed not healthy enough to fight. Ryan Spann was probably the most disappointed person on the evening but there was plenty of others including us that were very unhappy with the cancelation. The main event became Arnold All In Allen vs Andre Muniz and turned out to be a good win for Allen. There were three Canadians on the card and two were victorious. It was a pretty good card with 6 finishes and they all received a 50 K bonus. We previewed the huge UFC 285 Card that highlights the return of the G.O.A.T. Jon Bones Jones and his attempt to get the Heavyweight Title. Valentina Shevchenko makes yet another title defense and this time it is against Alexa Grasso. It is a very stacked card that is a can't miss event! We discussed the Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury fight from Saudi Arabia that was a pretty disappointing display of skill. The card was watched by a lot and the fighters made a ton of money. We talked about some NFL and some of the top stories of the week. The story of Russell Wilson that just was released is quite surprising and shocking! Please check out our websites Enjoy, Take care. Love yah, Bye for now!

#MLB #NFL #Aaronrodgers #Packers #Worldofwalley This was a fun conversation with an emerging podcast legend William Walley. He created the World of Walley podcast just over a year ago and it has really been taking off in popularity. William reached out to the Complete Sports Media team and asked to be a guest to talk about sports and tell us some great life stories. We had a great time discussing the opening of spring training baseball and his love of the National Pastime. He had serious dreams of a MLB career until an accident derailed those dreams. This unfortunate accident never diminished his love for the sport and he waxed poetic of the greatness of the game. He also is a football fan and his story of meeting Aaron Rodgers the quarterback of his favorite team the Green Bay Packers is really fun to listen to! We are very happy that this turned out to be such a fun podcast and Walley is now a friend of the show! Thanks for watching and listening as usual. #UFC258 #MMA #Champ #NBA We had a great Family Day weekend and Valentines day in the middle. We watched the fights on the UFC 258 card live with our regular MMA analyst Jason Cameron. It added another great dimension to our analysis and breakdown. We made plans to do a live podcast episode on March 6th for UFC 259. This card featured the Championship title fight in the welterweight division as the Champion Kamara Usman defended his belt against Gilbert Burns. Usman weathered an early onslaught from Burns and dispatched him from the fight only 34 seconds into round 3. He proved that he is an elite talent. Jason and our host Darren both agreed that he shoud not be considered on the level of Georges St. Pierre yet and wil have to win for another year or two to be in the conversation. We broke down the entire card and had great takes on many tight battles. The conversation turned to the NBA and the latest stories to emerge from the Association. #NHL #Suomi #Finland #Roxy #Vancouver #Fun Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Have a great time with your loved ones in your bubble around the planet! We have done over a hundred podcasts and they are getting better and better all the time and we have reached a new level with this latest episode! Our host Darren Campbell welcomed a very special guest on Valentine's Day! Vesa Rantanen is the Sports editor for a Finnish weekly sports paper and daily sports website called Ilta-Sanomat. They met when they were both covering the NHL and great long lasting friendship was started 25 years ago. It was fun getting ready for the episode and even more fun watching and listening to the conversation. These two have so many fun and interesting stories it was a blast to sit back and let them reminisce and let them discuss hockey then and now! Vesa was reluctant to do a podcast that involved talking about the latest goings on in the NHL as he is not following the league like he used to. He was convinced that it would be a great idea if we could talk about a couple of big recent developments of Finnish hockey players and discuss the past. There is insder information and takes on that Mikko Koivu retirement that just took place this past Tuesday and the benching of Patrick Laine the following day as Columbus was a big focal point for Finnish hockey this week. The talk ended up turning to the past and the best Finnish players who have ever lived. The list of players discussed was special as Hall of Famers Jarri Kurri and Teemu Sellanne took centre stage. They both agreed that the best Finnish defenseman in history Jyrki Lumme deserves to be in the Canucks ring of honor as one of if not the best defenseman to ever suit up for the team. Don Baizley the super agent one of the most prominent figures in Finnish and North American hockey became a friend of Vesa's and some great stories were uncovered. We feel like the past and present was covered perfectly and is such a fun conversation to witness and listen to. There is a real connection with these long time friends and colleagues and it comes across very significantly in this hour. If you are a regular viewer or listener thank you for your continued support and if you are looking in for the first time you will not be dissapointed in taking the time to take it in. We can only hope that Vesa will give us some more time and we can give you more insight into his life and so many great stories that he has from a life well lived! | How do you cover the Super Bowl, the Goat, the UFC and the NBA like no one else? You invite Jason Cameron in to discuss and break them down on Complete Sports Media's Podcast | 14 Feb 2021 | 01:58:47
#NFL #SuperBowl #GOAT #UFC #NBA We had a great breakdown of the Super Bowl. Tom Brady has solidified his place as G.O.A.T. (greatest of all time) as he led the Tampa Bay Bucs to the 31 to 9 victory over the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs. There was so much to breakdown and it was fun to discuss. The biggest factor in the blowout win was the Buccaneers defense that had KC quarterback Patrick Mahomes running for his life the entire game. This game was supposed to be the GOAT(Brady) against his heir apparent baby goat (Mahomes) but it really was a one sided game. Jason is like many football fans and analysts who have just become sick of the continued success of Tom Brady and he pulled no punches in his breakdown. There was so many aspects, interesting facts and discussion points that it was great to have Jason join us to put a wrap on this unprecedented season. We brokedown UFC Fightnight Vegas 18. This was a heavyweight battle of Titans Alexander "Drago" Volkov vs Alistair"The Demolition Man Overeem. There was a lot of great fights on the card and we went over in detail to all of them. We dissected the latest top stories for the NBA and went over the standings in some detail to see the most intriguing stories from the past week. Please visit our website at www.completesportsmedia.com there are archived podcasts there to watch and see the library of previous guests and episodes. | How to love, laugh and enjoy this life we have been dealt? Just watch Jason Cameron on the Complete Sports Media podcast and follow his lead. | 26 Jan 2021 | 02:05:32
#NFL #Superbowl #UFC257 #NBA #Covid This was the best most fun conversation that Jason and Darren have ever had in this platform. The discussion started with our host talking about breaking news! He was only joking but was talking about Matt Lafleur getting fired for his terrible call kicking a late field goal in the NFC Championship game instead of going for a touchdown. The Green Bay Packers are licking their wounds today and everyone is questioning their play calling not trusting Aaron Rodgers in the most crucial moment of the game and season. It is an amazing exchange and it has so many funny elements to the conversation. The Conference championships were both intriguing matchups and eventually had the two best teams emerge victorious and will now face each other in the Super Bowl in two weeks on February 7th. The Tampa Bay Bucs were able to assemble a great team and convince the G.O.A.T. Tom Brady to come and lead them to the playoffs and the Super Bowl. This franchise had fallen on hard times recently and now will be the first team to play the title game in their hometown. This will be Super Bowl 55 and it has been played in 25 different venues and never has a home team been able to be there in the end. This will be Tom Brady's 10th Super Bowl appearance and he will be gunning for his unprecedented 7th ring. They will be facing a formidable opponent in the defending Champion Kansas City Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes. The Chiefs quite easily beat the Cinderella story Buffalo Bills to advance to their second straight Suoer Bowl. The Chiefs have also assembled an incredible array of talent and Travis Kelce and Tyreek Hill both had monster games to cap off stellar seasons. This is the perfect matchup and has all of the earmarks of an epic game. We can't wait for this battle! We turned our attention to a wrap up breakdown of the years first UFC pay per view UFC 257. The main event was a lightweight titanic battle between Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor. The Irishman was coming off a year layoff and had only been in the cage for 40 seconds the last time. Dustin "Diamond" Poirier had been taking all the top fighters in the division and was sharp and was trying to avenge a defeat at the hands of McGregor 6 years earlier. The first round was probably in McGregors favor but Dustin really beat up the lead leg of Conor with calf kicks. He eventually caught him with a shot that stunned him and he didn't give him a chance as he swarmed him and sent Conor to the canvas reeling from the first knockout loss of his career. It was a massive earth shattering event and changed the course of history. We speculated on what is next for both of the combatants and for the division and sport. We brokedown all of the fights on the card and talked about what is coming next for the organization. Our podcast culminated with some NBA talk and the most important topics of the past week. It was a lot of fun to get into discussing some of the main goings on in the association. Enjoy, Love yah, Take care, Bye for now!
| How to have great weekends just watch sports and the breakdowns with Jason Cameron and the Complete Sports and Media coverage team | 19 Jan 2021 | 01:43:03 | |
#UFC #NFL #NBA #MLK #BLM We had such a great weekend watching the UFC, NFL and the NBA that we couldn't wait until we could break them down! It was fun discussing one of the best main event performances ever from Max Holloway! He put on an incredible display of relentless punching combinations setting more records in a huge decisive victory. Calvin Kattar showed so much heart in surviving the onslaught of 750 punches in 25 minutes. Holloway put himself back into title contention with this masterful display of skill and volume. The co-main event pitted two veteran warriors that had been scheduled to fight on at least 2 occasions previously. Carlos"The Natural Born Killer" Condit was able to win a decision over Matt "The Immortal" Brown. It was a highly entertaining war that made everyone wish that the earlier matchups between the two had happened in the past. This was a very anticipated card after a three week hiatus through the holidays. It was a great night of fights from Abu Dhabi. Our discussion turned to the NFL as four great matchups turned 8 teams into 4 left standing to try and battle it out for the Conference Championships. The Tampa Bay Bucs and Tom Brady beat Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints 30 to 20. Tampa's defense was the difference as they forced four turnovers in the win. They will be heading to Green Bay for the NFC title game against the Packers who had a huge 32 to 18 win over the LA Rams. Aaron Rodgers was the star and catalyst as he threw 2 TDs and ran one in himself as he backed up an possible MVP regular season with a terrific playoff performance. The defending Super Bowl Champs the Kansas City Chiefs held off the Cleveland Browns 22 to 17 despite losing QB Patrick Mahomes to a possible concussion. The hero turned out to be 13 year veteran backup Chad Henne who had never appeared in a playoff game prior to Sunday. They advance to host the third consecutive AFC Championship game next Sunday. The Bills utilized a tough defense and great game from top receiver Stefon Diggs to dominate the Baltimore Ravens 17 to 3. Ravens QB and former MVP Lamar Jackson made a critical error throwing a 101 yard pick six interception. Lamar later on was then put into concussion protocol himself and had to miss the rest of the game. We finished off talking about the massive James Harden four team trade and the impact it has on the NBA. We finished off the night discussing Luca Doncic who has been amazing everyone and he continues to impress as he passed the Legend Michael Jordan in triple doubles over the weekend. Enjoy, Take care, Love yah, Bye for now!
| How to enjoy Super Wildcard weekend just see Jason Cameron break it down on the Complete Sports Media's podcast | 12 Jan 2021 | 01:26:58 | |
#NFL #SuperWildcard #weekend #NBA We had a blast watching the NFL Super wildcard weekend and then so much fun breaking it down. Jason Cameron was able to offer his great perspective and incredible insight as the NFL narrowed the field from 14 to 8. The games were entertaining and full of drama. Buffalo won a nail biter 30 to 27 over the Indianapolis Colts. Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs were the key to their huge win. The Bills mafia was loud and thrilled getting their first playoff win since 2004. Lamar Jackson threw the Ravens on his back and ran them to victory 20 to 13 over the Titans. The Ravens have to be congratulated for their handling of the rushing leader king Derrick Henry who only ran for 40 yards on Sunday a season low. The Cleveland Browns had the football gods smiling on them as they roared out to a huge lead and held off the Pittsburgh Steelers 48 to 37. The Steelers coughed up the ball 5 times and were not able to outscore all of their mistakes. The long suffering Browns fans got to cheer on their teams first playoff win sonce 1994. The Saints used an incredible defensive effort to beat the overmatched Chicago Bears 20 to 9. Drew Brees, Alvin Kamara and Michael Thomas were the offensive stars as usual and shined bright for the Saints. Tampa Bay won their first playoff game since 2003 behind Tom Brady and their explosive offense as they downed the Washington football team 31 to 23. The LA Rams pulled off the biggest upset of the weekend as they won 30 to 20 on the road against the Seattle Seahawks. There were no fans in the stands so the home field advantage wasn't a factor in this one. It was the Hawks first loss at home since 2004 a string of ten consecutive wins ever since. Enjoy all of the breakdowns! The divisional matchups are now solidified. The NFC has the #1 seed Green Bay Packers hosting the #6 seed LA Rams. The # 2 seed New Orleans Saints will play host to the #5 seed Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The AFC has their #1 seed Kansas City Chiefs hosting the #6 seed Cleveland Browns. The #2 seed Buffalo Bills host the #5 seed Baltimore Ravens. We look forward to all four games next weekend! We discussed a lot of aspects of the NBA that is having a huge amount of troubles with Covid-19 outbreaks that have led to postponements and teams very undermanned. Take care, Love yah, Bye for now!
| How to get ready for the NHL season just watch Dale Cory on Complete Sports Media's Podcast | 12 Jan 2021 | 01:10:29 | |
We welcomed in Dale Cory to preview the NHL shortened 56 game season that starts this week. The teams are now all in newly aligned divisions and will be facing their rivals 8 to 10 times each if they can pull off the entire season. Our discussion was centered a lot on the all Canadian "Scotiabank" North Division. The league decided they didn't want any cross border games so put all seven teams north of the border in their own division. This will help further any rivalries and actually should increase them exponentially. This division will be ultra competitive and with only four of seven teams making the playoffs most every game will be very important. Every team undergoes changes in every off season and we talked specifically about the Vancouver Canucks and the loss of some free agents. The team made some acquisitions and promoted some younger players in the organization to fill the holes. They decided to part ways with their MVP of last season goalie Jacob Markstrom and he signed a six year $36 million dollar deal in Calgary which has been there biggest rival for much of their history. They also lost defenceman Chris Tanev and Left winger Josh Leivo also to the Flames. The new faces with the Canucks are Nate Schmidt defenceman from the Vagas Golden Knights, Braden Holtby former Stanley Cup qinning goalie from Washington and Travis Hamonic the d-man from Calgary. Nils Hoglander the highly touted right winger from Sweden will suit up on the second line to start the season. Enjoy, Take care, Love yah, Bye for now!
| 72nd NBA All star weekend, UFC Fight Night breakdown, XFL 3.0 opening weekend, Family Day and Presidents day holidays | 21 Feb 2023 | 01:03:47 | |
#NBA #Allstars #ufcfightnight #Vegas #Familyday We had a bit of a slow weekend and unfortunately our normal analyst on Mondays Jason Cameron is under the weather today. Our host Darren Campbell did a solo podcast and covered the world of sports from his perspective! We had the NBA's 72nd All Star weekend from Salt Lake City Utah. There was a lot of good things to watch and discuss from all of the events and gamers. There were a couple of complaints but all in all it was a great weekend for the Association. The top winners were Jason Tatum the All Star game MVP, Mac McClung the Slam Dunk winner and Damien Lillard the 3 Point shootout MVP, etc, etc. The UFC held Fight Night 219/Vegas 69 at the Apex in Las Vegas. The main event was changed late with an injury to Talia Santos but the fight was resurrected by Jessica Andrade. Erin Blanchfield went into this fight as the underdog and ranked #10 against Andrade ranked #3. Blanchfield took advantage of her opportunity and got a huge win by rear naked choke in the second round. She wants a title fight next against the winner of Valentina Shevchenko and Alexa Grasso which takes place in less than two weeks. The rest of the card had a lot of great moments and was a ton of fun to watch. The XFL 3.0 had their opening weekend this past one and it was quite the success. The rule changes took center stage at the end of one of the games and fingers crossed the NFL might adopt sometime in the near future. Red McCombs passed away at 95 on Sunday and he was quite an influential figure in the world of sports owning two different NBA teams and an NFL Franchise also. He owned the San Antonio Spurs on two different occasions and the Denver Nuggets as well. He was also a former owner of the Minnesota Vikings NFL team. He is survived by his three daughters, 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Please check out our websites Enjoy, Take care, Love yah, Bye for now!

| How do you start 2021 on the right foot? Just watch Jason Cameron on a podcast with the Complete Sports Media Team | 05 Jan 2021 | 01:27:00 | |
#NFL #Playoffs #NBA #Boxing #UFC This was our first podcast episode of 2021. We broke down the final week of the NFL regular season and previewed the playoffs. There are 14 of 32 teams that made the dance and there are a lot of intriguing matchups. This was a crazy Covid 19 football season that has had so many ups and downs and chaos and it was miraculous that they completed the 17 week regular season. The NBA entered into its third week and a lot of storylines emerged and we discussed a lot of them. There were so many interesting developments with a lot the the top end talent in the association. We were recording the day after Steph Curry went off for 62 points in a huge statement game against Portland. The Blazers had beat the Warriors on Christmas Day by 25 points and so Golden State got some measure of revenge. Steph had received a lot of criticism for his play and his teams performance in the first few games of the year. He used those comments to fuel his fire and prove that he still is the best shooter in NBA history. Boxing took a little spotlight over the weekend as Ryan Garcia continues to show his power and skill as he TKO'ed Luke Campbell in the 7th round. Garcia survived a second round knockdown and finished off Campbell with a brutal left hook to the body. The great up and comer is now 21-1 in his career and had never been dropped but really took it to Campbell after. He controlled the fight with superior hand speed and accuracy. Campbell was no joke of an opponent as he was the 2012 Olympic Gold Medallist and has twice challenged for lightweight titles. Boxing is having a resurgence recently with a lot of great young fighters that Jason talked about. This was a fun podcast and you will enjoy the conversation. Enjoy, Take care, Love yah, Bye for now!

| How to follow in your fathers footsteps and achieve your goals and dreams with Dale Walters on Complete Sports Media's podcast | 21 Dec 2020 | 00:24:57 | |
Boxing #Dad #Halloffame #Olympics #Medalist This is the second segment from our podcast conversation with Canadian boxing legend Dale Walters. This one starts with speaking about his father Len Walters who was a Canadian boxing legend in his own right. Dale showed off pictures of his Dad that he has framed in his house. Len forged an incredible career and was 139 - 10 as an amateur and 14-4 as a pro. He won 4 BC championships, 2 National Canadian titles, the US amateur featherweight title and competed in the Olympics. He was on the undercard of the Joe Louis fight in Vancouver. Len was inducted into the BC Sports Hall of Fame in 1995. Those shoes were obviously very hard to fill for Dale but at an early age he set out to reach and even surpass his Dad's achievements. Dale was 165-12 won 3 BC championships, 5 Canadian National titles, he went to the Commonwealth and Pan American games before he went to the 1984 Olympics. Dale was included on the undercard of the Muhammad Ali fight in Vancouver against George Chuvalo because his Dad had been on the Joe Louis card years earlier. Dale has a great story of meeting "The Greatest" and also has pictures of that momentous occasion. At the Olympics Dale won Canada's first boxing medal in 52 years as he won the bronze and did so in very dramatic fashion. The last guy to win that medal was Horace "Lefty" Gwynne in the same bantamweight division and also in Los Angeles. Gwynne was at the bout that Dale won his medal and was honoured before and after. Dale was part of arguably Canada's greatest assembled Olympic boxing team with Sean O'Sullivan, Willie Dewitt and Lennox Lewis among others. Dale initially was unhappy with winning the bronze medal but was treated like a National hero upon his return to Canada and the partying started and lasted a while. He eventually embraced his accomplishment and likes sharing great stories from his Olympic experience. Dale talked at length of the honour of both his and his Father's induction into the BC Sports Hall of Fame as probably the biggest of his life. He invited his first ever sponsor Sev Morin who owned a night club, restaurant and banquet Hall to come to the induction ceremony and recognized him during his speech. He wanted to give payback to some those who were instrumental in helping him achieve all that he had in his career. Keep your eye out over the holidays for a couple more segments on our great chat with Dale. Enjoy, Take care, Love yah, Bye for now!
| How to get to the top of the boxing world with help and to repay in full the Dale Walters life story on the Complete Sports Media podcast! | 17 Dec 2020 | 00:26:45 | |
#Halloffame #Olympian #Brawlforitall #Boxing This first clip of many after a lengthy conversation this one is focused on the Dale Walters vs Tony Pep fight! We had a fantastic conversation on this latest podcast episode with a boxing legend. Dale Walters joined us via Zoom and we had a really long chat about many topics in his life. We want to post this in segments so it is easier to consume by watching or listening to. This is the first post on big moments from his life story that has been a life well lived! This first segment clip is discussing his ongoing feud with Tony Pep and ""The Brawl For It All" which was the epic fight between the two bitter rivals. Dale has just posted his breakdown of the fight today on his facebook page and it is an incredible read. He has started to give some great first hand accounts of most of the big moments in his boxing career by regular Wednesday posts. Give them a read it has been so great to watch and read about. Our podcast episode and the chat we have with him kind of piggy backs this and allows some different insight in video and audio form. We suggest that you watch this and also find the fight on Youtube and check it out as it is one of the most entertaining fights in history. It has become so legendary and you can see what Dale is talking about. I think our only wish is that this fight would have happened about a year or two later in history. Dale is such a great guy and ambassador for Canada, B.C., Vancouver and Burnaby that it would have been great to see a more favorable outcome for this fan favorite. With a few more 10 or 12 round fights Dale could have a chance to be able to handle the distance a bit better. In this instance the villian won the fight but Dale has gone on to do many great things in life. We are all lucky that he was born and raised here and stayed here to continue to give back to his community that helped him on his journey to the top of the world. We suggest that you find Dale on Facebook and social media and follow his posts to see so many of his accomplishments broken down and given unprecendented insight into a very successful boxing career. Please go to www.dalewaltersboxing.com for more details on his life and what he is up to now. Enjoy, Take care, Love yah, Bye for now!
| How to get ready for Christmas? Just watch sports & podcasts with Jason Cameron and Complete Sports Media coverage | 14 Dec 2020 | 01:26:45 | |
#NFL #NBA #UFC This breakdown was especially fun as the NFL is getting more intense as the season winds dfown, the NBA is back and the UFC had arguably the best card of the year. Week 14 iof the NFL is winding down and the contenders are definitely emerging as the playoff picture is taking shape, The Chiefs and Steelers are on top of the AFC as the Bills, Titans, Browns and Colts are the second tier but not too far behind. In the NFC the Packers and the Saints are on top with the Rams, Seahawks and Bucs rounding out the elite teams in the conference. There were a lot of great games that we brokedown that you must watch to get the picture of this weekends action. The NBA is back from the shortest offseason(71 days) in league history by many months. Preseason action got underway this weekend and had flashes of the stars but was really a way for the coaches to see the eintire expanded rosters. Enjoy watching some more preseason games as the regular season starts on December 22nd. The UFC 256 was one of if not the best fight card of the year 2020. The main event was definitely the best flyweight battle in history as the Champion Deiveson Figueiredo defended his belt against the #1 contender Brandon Moreno in a five round war. The fight ended in a majority draw decision and should set up a rematch as soon as both fighters recover from their injuries. In the Co-main event the lightweight division featured #7 ranked Charles Oliviera who had the most impressive performance of his career in a dismantling of #3 ranked Tony Ferguson. Kevin Holland became only the 3rd fighter in modern UFC history to record 5 wins in a calendar year as he KO'ed Jacare Souza. The knockout will be on highlight reels for years and years to come as he started it on the bottom. The other impressive aspect of that is that this winning streak has been done in only 7 months when he finally got the call to the big show. Holland is fun, tough and entertaining and might even fight next week as he called out Kamzat Chimaev who was supposed to fight on next weeks card. The entire card was stacked and had so many great battles that made it a great evening as there is only one more fight card in 2020. Enjoy, Take care, Love yah, Bye for now!
| How to survive the pandemic with sports and the discussion with Jason Cameron on Complete Sports Media's Podcast | 07 Dec 2020 | 01:37:39 | |
This was a fun weekend breakdown of sports even though we are still dealing with the pandemic. Covid 19 is getting worse all over North America and is impacting everyones lives. The sporting world is not immune and it affects it daily like it permeates every facet of society. We went into great detail of week 13 of the NFL. There was a shocking upset of the Seattle Seahawks who were 8 and 3 heading into a battle with the New York Giants who were 4 and 7. The G men won 17 to 12 to get their fourth straight victory and solidify their spot as top in the NFC East. This was the first win for any NFC East team over an opponent who was over .500 on the season. The top of the NFC West was Seattle's alone before this game and now the Rams are the front runner as they beat the Arizona Cardinals 38 to 28. The other upset of the weekend was Cleveland beating the Tennessee Titans 41 to 35 to push their record to 9 and 3 for the firt time since 1994. It was the Browns first four game winning streak since 2009. There was a lot of great games and a great breakdown of the week. The NBA was discussed briefly as we talked about the trade of Russell Westbrook from Houston to Washington for John Wall. It was probably a good deal for both teams especially if Wall is able to bounce back from his long term injury troubles. We talked about the impact Covid is already having on the league as there have been 52 positive Covid tests already in the association. It led to the Portland Trailblazers shutting down their facility after 4 positive test results happened today. The UFC Vegas 16 took place on Saturday and the main event was an amazing tough 5 round battle in the Middleweight division. It was #4 ranked Jack Hermansson against #12 ranked Marvin Vettori in an all out war. The Italian Dream Vettori had a decisive victory winning 4 of 5 rounds and getting his hand raised with a unanimous decision. He should be ranked now in the top 5 and could be in line for another crack at the champ Israel Adesanya again after just one more convincing win. The rest of the card was impacted as two fights were postponed because of Covid and another cancelled at the last minute. The combat sports continued on Saturday as the huge A T & T stadium in Arlington, Texas was host to boxing. The main event was a fight for the WBC and IBF World Welterweight Championships between the Champ Errol Spence Jr. and Danny Garcia. Spence stayed near the top of the best pound for pound discussion with a dominating victory that was very anticlimatic. Spence used a lethal jab to get the seemingly easy victory. This sets up a titanic battle with Terrence "Bud" Crawford to finally unify the best division in boxing. Enjoy our breakdown of the card and the discussion of the future of the sport. Enjoy, Take care, Love yah, Bye for now!
| How to stay entertained during the Covid pandemic just listen to Jason Cameron on Complete Sports | 30 Nov 2020 | 01:23:23 | |
#NFL #UFC #boxing We had a great conversation about Football, UFC and boxing and unfortunately Covid as tons of positive tests have continued to wreak havoc. The NFL week 12 has been getting crazy with Covid and it has led to games being postponed and teams taking the field severely undermanned. It has become a bit of a farce and the season is in jeopardy. The UFC main event was cancelled and the main events have kept being affected by the virus. Anthony "Lionheart" Smith won the new main event with a submission victory over Devin"Brown Bear" Clark. Speaking of farces the legends card was a bit of one. We really respect Mauro Ranallo, Sugar Ray Leonard, and Israel Adesanya who called the fight card. It is just not great when two 50 something guys are headlining a fight card. It was not something to celebrate and we hope that they won't put on to many more of these tyoe of cards. We discussed next weeks very intriguing and excting boxing card with the Main event being Errol Spence Jr. against Danny Garcia. This is the kind of fight we want to witness and break down. Enjoy, Take care, Love yah, Bye for now!
| How to create the best podcasts just discuss sports with Jason Cameron with Complete Sports Media! | 24 Nov 2020 | 01:44:39 | |
#NFL #NBA #UFC This was a really fun conversation as Jason Cameron used his quarantine time to really watch weekend sports more intently than ever! We spoke about the great week 11 of the NFL. There were so many close games that could have been the best weekend of the year. As the NBA free agency and signing period was in full swing there was so many things to discuss. Huge signings were the biggest topics this week. Training camps open next week after the shortest offseason in league history. The UFC has set records for having an event so many weekends in a row and they continue to porduce great cards. UFC 255 had title fights in both the mens and womens flyweight divisions. Deiveson Figueiredo defended his belt winning in less than two minutes by guillotine choke over Alex Perez. | How to change your life by injecting humor into it. Listen to Greg Kettner on Complete Sports Media! | 19 Nov 2020 | 01:24:26
#NHL #NFL #MLS #WHL Well this was quite the day for the Complete Sports Media team. We welcomed an old friend into our podcast today for the first time and he became one of our favorite guests of all time. Greg Kettner is a corporate speaker located in Walla Walla, Washington that focuses his message on trying to impliment humor into peoples lives at work. Greg is a really special guy in the world today and he wants to make the world laugh for the numerous benefits. He knows that laughter is good for work productivity, health and well being, and last but not least enjoyment of life! He went in pursuit of his goals and dreams by making people laugh across North America for six years in a stand up comedy career! This eventually led to his highly sought after coporate speaking engagements that have received incredibly high praise and testimonials! Our host Darren Campbell has known Greg for many, many years and was able to book some time in his valuable and busy schedule to have a great conversation. Greg is an amazing storyteller and is a very funny guy. We especially loved the Wayne Gretzky stories that were shared between the two of them. There was also a crazy story involving Robin Williams and the Queen that weaved between fantasy and reality that made us laugh in the studio. There were a bunch of other interesting stories that are so entertaining to watch and listen to. This episode had many lifechanging moments that are inspiring and amazing to hear about. We talked a little about Walla Walla and the vineyards and a couple sporting legends that are from that community. Drew Bledsoe former QB of the New England Patriots is running his family winery there called Doubleback. The other guy we mentioned was Eddie "The King" Feigner a legend in the world of Mens softball. He eventually led a touring team called "The King and his Court" and they played over ten thousand games in over 100 countries. They ended up compiling incredible records 9,743 wins, and Feigner had 141,517 strikeouts, 930 no hitters, and 238 perfect games. They didn't have a team like the Washington Generals they actually played local select softball teams that were gunning to beat the legends. The other incredible aspect of this team was that it was a four man "team" consisting of Eddie the pitcher and catcher a first baseman and a shortstop. This was such a great episode and we hope that it reinvigorates your life as much as it did to our lives. If you have a company contact Greg and book him to come in and inspire your employees you will so happy that you did! Thank you so much Greg for sharing your stories and insight into your life! | How to cap off your weekend perfectly watch Complete Sports Media's conversations with Jason Cameron | 17 Nov 2020 | 01:24:26
We had a fantastic podcast episode that covered many sports like a blanket! Jason Cameron is always a fun guest and a pleasure to chat with and break down the weekend of sports. Our first sport we dove into was the NFL and week 10 had a lot of things to discuss. There was a report of Drew Brees fracturing five ribs and suffering a collapsed lung from a sack. The report suggested he would be out of action 2-3 weeks at minimum which made us laugh at how short of a recovery time that seemed. The contenders and pretenders are really starting to reveal themselves and it was fun to discuss every matchup. The NBA free agency period started with a bit of a flurry as there were some signings and trades consumated on Monday. The biggest deal had Chris Paul getting traded from the Thunder to the Phoenix Suns for a bunch of players highlighted by Kelly Oubre and Ricky Rubio and a 2022 first round draft pick. The Thunder also dealt Dennis Schroder to the Lakers probably signalling an end to Kyle Kuzma and maybe even Rajon Rondo in LaLa land. James Harden declined his contract option with Houston and has supposedly asked to be traded to the Brooklyn Nets or the Philadelphia 76ers. The next month or so is going to be interesting and fun to watch. We had a short conversation about the big Top Rank boxing card held on Saturday as Terrence "Bud" Crawford knocked out Kell Brook in the fourth round. It was a highlight reel KO and if you haven't seen it find it and watch the spectacular punch that ended the night! The UFC had fight night Vegas 14 and we brokedown the entire card. The main event had Rafael Dos Anjos facing Paul "The Irish Dragon" Felder which turned out to be a great fight. There were a lot of great performances and you should stick around and listen to our fun breakdown. Enjoy, Take care, Love yah, Bye for now!
| How to have the ultimate podcast? Just invite Dale Cory in to talk sports with Complete Sports Media's podcast team! | 17 Nov 2020 | 01:15:36 | |
We had a great conversation with Dale Cory discussing the Masters golf tournament, junior hockey and MLB. It was fun to talk about a historic Masters that was held 7 months late in front of almost no patrons. Dustin Johnson set a bunch of records as he lead wire to wire and shot a record -20 268 as he was able to win and put on the green jacket for the first time. It was a really fun breakdown as we dove into so many of the story lines that emerged over the four days. We talked at length about junior hockey and the Okanagan cup that just wrapped up this weekend with the Penticton Vees taking the title over the Vernon Vipers. They played 12 games and it culminated in a 3 to 2 win in overtime. It was a great tourney and the Vees won 11 of 12 to really gain confidence as the regular season starts on December 4th. We then spoke about the huge hiring in MLB as Kim Ng became the first woman named a General Manager in Major league baseball taking over the Florida Marlins. Her resume is incredibly impressive as she was part of the Dodgers and Yankees organizations in various capacities and the league office for a decade. Way to go Kim and kudos to Derek Jeter and the Marlins organization. An incredible milestone and trailblazer achieving her dream job after being one of the hardest working people in the sport. Enjoy, Take care, Love yah, Bye for now!
| How to break podcasting records? Just invite Jeff Meszaros into Complete Sports Media to talk about his life! | 14 Nov 2020 | 00:52:19 | |
#MMA #Jiujitsu #BodogTV #Fighters 18+ recommended for this content This is a milestone podcast as we broke at least a couple of records and probably multiple milestones. In the early stages of the episode our host Darren Campbell gets into the details on the life accomplishment records Jeff Meszaros would have set in the history of this podcast! When you watch and listen please let us know if we were correct in our assessment. There is a short intro from Darren but thankfully Jeff gets into much greater detail on his colorful life history. He talks about being a long time martial arts practitioner(36 years and counting), a Jiu Jitsu instructor, a long time radio guy, and MMA journalist among other things. Jeff Wombat Meszaros is a pioneer starting with the early days of underground forums that is now www.mixedmartialarts.com . Those early days were also the first years of the internet and they were basically chat groups for the MMA enthusiasts. The Wombat had funny takes and got a name for himself that started leading to more opportunities. Arnold Lim who had a website called MMA ring report asked Jeff to write UFC predictions for the site. This opened doors and Jeff smashed them down and started to become a well known and respected MMA journalist. He wrote for numerous fight magazines with humor, wit and unprecedented insight to the combat world. This eventually led to a once in a lifetime opportunity with BodogTV to be a fulltime travelling MMA reporter. He was sent by them all over the world to cover mixed martial arts events. He had been working full time in the radio business and was a part time writer for MMA. He quit radio and jumped at the chance to make this hobby become his career. You really have to listen and watch to the rest of the podcast to hear the stories and gain insight to a great life well lived. Thank you Jeff for a small piece of your valuable time and for sharing stories and reflection on the first few chapters of your life! We talked for almost two hours and have condensed this down to less than an hour but plan on publishing a few more shorter segments over the coming days. It would be nice to have Jeff as a semi regular guest as well because he has a lifetime of stories that should be shared again. He also is continuing to give a lot to his community by teaching jiu jitsu to many people that get the huge benefits of training in martial arts. Thanks again Jeff! Enjoy Take care, Love yah, Bye for now!

Complete Sports has not been blessed with Casey's presence for a while as he went on holidays when the Fed Ex Cup playoffs concluded. The UFC was highlighted by some "old guys" getting massive victories in UFC Vegas 13. Glover Texeira and Andrei Arlovski were the first two over forty year olds to win both the main and co-main fights on the same card in UFC history. Enjoy Take care Love yah Bye for now
| How to find pure joy in your life? Watch Jason Cameron talk about his true love of sports on Complete Sports Media's podcast! | 03 Nov 2020 | 01:25:16 | |
This is a really fun breakdown of the Halloween weekend in sports. The NFL has reached the halfway mark despite the global pandemic and the out of control Covid crisis. There have been positive tests but the NFL just keeps chugging along. It was fun to discuss all of the division rival games and being on the eve of the trading deadline we had deals to break down, We briefly talked about the NBA and specifically about the hiring of Mike D'Antoni to be the assistant coach of the Brooklyn Nets. Steve Nash had Mike as his coach in Phoenix when he was the two time MVP of the NBA and he returned the favor by hiring him. It was a great move and we both agreed it was going to be fun for the team and league. The UFC had another card and another retirement of one of the G.O.A.T.'s of the sport. Last week it was Khabib Nurmagamedov and this week it was Anderson "The Spider" Silva. The 45 year old living legend finally is appearing in the Octagon for the last time. We brokedown the entire card from this past weekend and the upcoming one. Enjoy, Take care, Love yah, Bye for now!
| How to enjoy your weekends? Get into the UFC and the NFL and watch Jason Cameron on Complete Sports! | 27 Oct 2020 | 01:32:02 | |
#UFC254 #G.O.A.T. #Khabib #NFL We had a great conversation breaking down the UFC 254 that featured Khabbib Nurmagomedov getting a huge victory and then subsequently retired. His complete dominance of Justin Gaethje in this lightweight title fight was surprising to most. Khabib's father Abdulmanap died in July from complications related to Covid-19 at 57 years old. He was Khabib's long time coach and trainer among many other top fighters. Once the fight was over he took off his gloves and said that he had promised his mother that he was going to retire now his dad was gone. We had a lot of fun getting into this fight and the rest of a great card. We brokedown week 7 of the NFL which featured a great battle of two unbeaten teams in the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Tennessee Titans, It was a tale of two halfs as the Steelers dominated early and then the Titans flipped the script and almost came all the way back. They would have forced overtime if their kicker Stephen Gostkowski would have nailed the 47 yard field goal at the end of the game. We also broke down the incredible NFC West battle between Seattle and Arizona that was an overtime shootout. It was a nationally televised late Sunday game and had an incredible amount of amazing plays and when the Cards finally hit a field goal late in overtime to hand the Hawks their first loss of the season. There was a lot of things to discuss in the other matchups as well. We ended the episode giving kudos and our condolensces to David Braley the long time owner and interim commissioner in the CFL just passed away at 79 years old. He was a legend and owned the BC. LIons for 24 years and also owned the Hamilton Tiger Cats and Toronto Argos at different times. He will be sorely missed from football in this country. Enjoy Take care, Love yah, Bye for now!

| UFC Korea and 284, Bellator 290, Kyrie trade Lebron all-time scoring milestone Super Bowl preview | 07 Feb 2023 | 01:44:02 | |
#UFC #Bellator #Gamebred #nba #suoerbowl A very quiet weekend in the world of sports that we discussed. It was a boring sports weekend with All star week in the NFL and the NHL but who really cares about those games. The UFC had a fight card that was originally scheduled for Korea but was moved to Vegas because of an injury to the Korean Zombie. The card wasn't all that compelling and was even upstaged by Bellator and their inaugural card on CBS. A very busy week ahead that we previewed. The UFC 284 card is stacked with two title fights and a ton of great matchups. The Super Bowl is just a few days away now. The Philadelphia Eagles are a slight favorite over the Kansas City Chiefs. Lebron James is poised to become the NBA's all time leading scorer. King James will pass Kareem Abdul Jabbar this week. It was once thought to be an unreachable record but it will be passed this week in one of the Lakers home games. This was the end of week 4 as Covid-19 has pentrated the league forcing the postponement of a couple of games. There was a lot of great on field action to discuss and we had fun getting into it. Jimmy F....ing Butler was a beast scoring 40 points 13 assists and 11 rebounds in the 115 to 104 victory. Game four goes Tuesday as Miami tries to tie the series.
