Born in Metairie, Louisiana, Kate went to Archbishop Chapelle High School and later graduated from Louisiana State University. Kate’s early aspirations were rooted in a desire to serve others, initially wanting to become a police officer, but she later shifted her focus to Forensics and ultimately found her calling in Biology, specializing in Oceanography.

Kate’s career took a pivotal turn when she was assigned to the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill in 2010, an opportunity that profoundly shaped her professional career and future. It was during this time that she describes her invaluable experience, which would later carry into various roles in acting, marketing, business consulting, and entrepreneurship.

After investing in a business coach to help bring clarity around her business career, Kate launched BonBon Strategic. Her focus is combining her background in science, business, and the arts to provide virtual operational support to small and mid-sized businesses. What sets her apart is her hands-on approach: Kate doesn’t just advise – she executes, helping business owners overcome operational obstacles, streamline systems, and reach their goals. Chris Baer is the founder of the Mandala Institute, an organization that helps leaders create humanistic and innovation culture in teams and companies. He is an expert on innovation strategy, engaging and growing talent through coaching, as well as design methodologies.Chris is also a co-founder of Sunstone Therapies, an early-stage medical company dedicated to alleviating emotional distress in patients through trial psychedelic therapies. Chris also played a key role in the creation of the Bill Richard’s Center for Healing, a state of the art facility designed expressly for psychedelic therapy in the medical setting.

Prior to Mandala and Sunstone, Chris served as Vice President of Global Leadership Development and Learning Experience at Marriott International overseeing talent and executive development. In other Marriott roles, Chris led customer experience initiatives encompassing brand and digital consumer product development. Contributions included brand creation (Moxy), brand revitalization (Marriott Hotels), and customer experience strategy and execution (the Ritz-Carlton), as well as the development of Marriott’s enterprise innovation framework.

Prior to Marriott, Chris led an international marketing firm, and consulted to Fortune 100’s on digital strategy, product management and user experience.

Formally trained as an industrial designer at RISD, Chris employs design methodologies to business challenges and has brought design thinking to executives and their product teams globally.Chris holds a leadership coaching certification from Georgetown University’s Institute for Transformational Leadership (cohort 45), and coaches top executives seeking to bring forth transformation within themselves, their enterprises and beyond.

An internationally acclaimed artist, Chris is also a contemporary abstract painter and creates works in glass and mixed media.

Rasagna Holt was born and raised in a small rural town in India, where her family has a strong tradition of entrepreneurship and musical excellence. Her father is a medical doctor, and her mother, both an entrepreneur and a renowned singer, serves as the Dean of a Women's University. In addition to running a training institute for students, Rasagna’s mother was an All India Radio artist, TV performer, and lead singer in a cover band. Her grandfather was also an academic leader, serving as a Dean and running a successful English training institute. Many of Rasagna's family members are well-known singers and movie artists in India.

Rasagna is married to a real estate entrepreneur and is the proud mother of three children. She also has a younger brother who runs a venture capital firm and holds an MBA from Kellogg School of Management.

With over seven years of experience as a business owner and entrepreneur, Rasagna holds a Master's degree in Computer Science, a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, and a Business degree. Between 2003 and 2012, she worked in the analytics field, as well as in recruiting and consulting. Currently, she runs a successful talent acquisition strategy and consulting firm. She is in the process of launching her SaaS company in the Global Talent Acquisition space.

Sophie has a Masters of Structural and Earthquake Engineering from the University of British Columbia. She practiced structural engineering consulting in the residential sector for over 7 years where she saw firsthand the challenges employers face recruiting and retaining women in male dominated environments. She is passionate about approaching gender equity in an intentional and strategic manner by providing a clear and concise list of actionable items to empower employers to start making positive change today. At The Thoughtful Co, she has supported clients in the public sector, engineering firms, construction companies, technology companies, and more.

Sophie has a long history of dedication to building more inclusive and equitable environments for women. In 2018, she Co-Founded Women in Consulting Engineering (WCE) Vancouver, a non-profit community devoted to supporting and empowering women in engineering and increasing gender diversity and inclusion in the consulting industry.

Jillian Climie is Co-Founder of The Thoughtful Co, a consultancy that supports women in negotiating their compensation, and advises employers on improving gender equity in the workplace. She specializes in supporting women in getting paid what they deserve, with her clients on average achieving a +25% increase in their compensation package. She works with women across Canada, the US and the UK to negotiate at companies including Uber, Goldman Sachs, Oracle, Sephora and IBM.


Jillian attended Ivey Business School and has spent her career advising and leading teams in executive compensation and corporate governance, both as a consultant, and in-house at two global retailers. 

Most recently at Lululemon, she led the global equity and executive compensation programs. After taking a pause, she realized she wanted more of three things in her professional life: thoroughness, passion and freedom. She Co-Founded The Thoughtful Co. so she can leverage her technical experience to empower women to get paid what they deserve and employers to build inclusive workplaces.
