I bring on members from the community to talk about expectations for this upcoming Canucks season.

The Vancouver Canucks roster is almost set ahead of their season opener on Tuesday night. Could they pick up one more player on waivers?

I recap my fun weekend at Rogers Arena: Friday for the Meet the Team event and Saturday for preseason game vs. the Seattle Kraken.

Arshdeep Bains had the lone Vancouver Canucks goal in their 3-1 loss to the Calgary Flames. Calgary iced a very veteran lineup and had not trouble with the Canucks squad filled will prospects and minor-leaguers.

The Canucks reduced their numbers by 11 players today with Adam Novotny and Braeden Cootes among those still with the team. They will travel to Calgary to take on the Flames in preseason action on Tuesday night.

With the quick Canucks training camp now concluded, I take a look at players who improved their stock - and players whose stock may have dropped - coming out of training camp in Penticton.

Manny Malhotra unveiled some intriguing forward lines and d-pairings on day 1 of Vancouver Canucks training camp. He also set the tone with clear communication, loud instructions, and even participating in the line skates.

Can/should we read anything into the combos?

On the eve of Vancouver Canucks training camp, I break down the media session featuring Ryan Johnson, Henrik and Daniel Sedin, and Manny Malhotra.

As well, I bring on my son Jacob to celebrate his 23rd birthday.

Zeev Buium's 8-year contract extension with the Vancouver Canucks will go down as the final 8-year contract in club history as the CBA that kicks in today will limit contracts to a 7-year maximum. I'll talk about why Buium was the right player in the right spot at the right time.

As well, I interview my personal trainer Craig Boyd of Precision Athletics about his thoughts on the Canucks. He winds up our chat with a special offer to the CCC crew!

Vancouver Canucks forward Elias Pettersson met with the media at the annual Jake Milford Canucks Charity Invitational golf tourney. He was certainly saying the right things about a fresh start under Manny Malhotra. Is this year that he returns to his former dominant self?

I bring on Russell of N0thing is Perfect to break down the series split between the Vancouver Canucks prospects and the Seattle Kraken prospects.Who impressed? Who disappointed? And most importantly...is there hope for the future?

With all of the uncertainty in goal, should the Vancouver Canucks carry three goalies on their roster when the season starts? I look at the pros and cons of doing so.

With so much talk about team chemistry (and the previous lack thereof) for the Vancouver Canucks, I talk about how much of a difference it will actually make this season.

I also give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at my home office...where all the magic happens!

Vancouver Canucks General Manager Ryan Johnson announced today that the Canucks have agreed to terms with defenceman Zeev Buium on an eight-year contract extension with a $9.38 million AAV.

I talk about the massive extension and how this could turn out to be an amazing deal for the Canucks.

Filip Chytil is looking to rebound with a strong season after playing in only 12 games for the Vancouver Canucks last season. He spoke to the media today after the Canucks held an informal skate for the third straight day.

We're less than a month away from the Canucks first regular season game of the 2026-27 season. In anticipation, many of the players are gathering at Rogers Arena for informal skates.

I also talk about the Luke Evangelista trade to the Devils, Elliotte Friedman and Kevin Bieksa becoming free agents, and more Evander Kane drama.

On the heels of Cale Makar's record-breaking contract, I look at the contracts for some of the Vancouver Canucks players to determine how efficient they actually are.

I'm joined by close a dozen members of the CCC Community for our Open Mic night. The show concludes with a surprise winner atop the XP Leader Board!

The Vancouver Canucks are coming off a 58-point season that saw them firmly entrenched as the last-place team in the NHL. With EVERYTHING going right (healthy Demko, bounce back season for Pettersson, development of our youngsters, etc), what are some realistic expectations for the team?

Vancouver Canucks games will be broadcasted on KISS 104.9 FM next season, with Brendan Batchelor and Randip Janda returning.

Will you give it a try?

I take a look at some of the more intriguing battles to expect at Canucks training camp next month. Could Marco Rossi unseat Elias Pettersson as the first-line centre? And is Zeev Buium a lock to play alongside Filip Hronek?

I talked about he importance of this make or break season for Jonathan Lekkerimaki, especially with the expected push from Adam Novotny. I also looked at some other bubble player like Aatu Raty and Victor Mancini. As well, I gave a detailed recap of a highly entertaining and fun CCC Meet-Up from the weekend.

The Vancouver Canucks signed 2026 first-round draft pick Adam Novotny to a three-year entry-level contract.

Does Novotny have a chance to make the Canucks out of training camp?

Please excuse the technical issues at the start of the stream. I must have been very excited to give some prizes away!

I'm back after a week away...and my son Sean is now married and I have a brand new daughter-in-law!I recap the wedding and also share some thoughts surrounding letting go of Sean. I tie this into some things that we can let go of as Canucks fans.

For my go-home show before Sean's wedding on August 8, I host a memorable Open Mic session along with multiple appearances by my son Sean. Along with one quick appearance by Sean's fiancee Francesca.

I start the show by running a giveaway thanks to our High Five from Sunday night's livestream. Then I am joined by my son Sean to discuss the Canucks and more importantly, his upcoming wedding on August 8.

I spend the first half of the show recapping the Canucks management and coaching hires, the NHL Entry Draft, free agency, and trades. Then, after my mid-show sponsor read, all heck breaks lose!

No, this is not another "Trade Elias Pettersson" episode. But I talk about why the Vancouver Canucks' centre has struggled over the past couple seasons, and how he might be able to regain his form this season.

I am joined by Jeff Paterson of Rink Wide: Vancouver to talk about the Vancouver Canucks including their moves, their outlook, and their expectations for the upcoming season. Jeff also shares some wise and insightful words about the demise of Sportsnet 650.

I discuss the prospect pool of the Vancouver Canucks. After a few slim years, it looks to be the strongest it's been in a while. But it still has a long way to go.

I discuss the naming of Manny Malhotra's coaching staff for the Vancouver Canucks as well as the value of Elias Pettersson.

Leo Carlsson will make $18M/season starting next season, making him the league's highest-paid player...for now. How long will it be before we get a $20M man?

We also talk about the latest Elias Pettersson rumours, and I end off the stream by giving my reflections on 26 years of marriage.

I talk about why it doesn't make sense to me to trade Elias Pettersson right now while his value isn't that high.

I also discuss the shutting down of Sportsnet 650 including the possible reasons why.

I end off the show by bringing in Hall of Fame member Fangirl to celebrate her birthday.

After a busy week for the Vancouver Canucks (draft, free agency, and trades), I examine what could come next for the team. Could it be naming assistant coaches? Another trade? Or even another free agent signing?

The Vancouver Canucks made a series of moves on the first day of free agency signaling that the rebuild is officially underway. The Canucks are bringing back Luke Schenn and they signed Paul Cotter.

But the biggest move was signing Jamie Oleksiak after trading Marcus Pettersson to the Rangers.

I talk about the two moves that the Canucks made on Monday morning: they traded Nils Hoglander to the Nashville Predators for a 2029 third-round pick and then they acquired Brendan Gallagher from the Montreal Canadiens for future considerations.

Join me as I recap the Vancouver Canucks performance at this weekend's 2026 NHL Draft. It was very obvious that the Canucks were looking for a certain type of player with their picks.

On my birthday livestream, I start off by welcoming my mother Joyce to the show. Then, I talk about the report from Rick Dhaliwal that the Canucks will not be re-signing UFAs Teddy Blueger and Derek Forbort. I end off by talking about reports beginning to emerge that the Canucks will not select Caleb Malhotra at number three.

In honour of Father's Day, my kids Sean, Jacob, and Kayla appeared on my livestream both individually and as a collective. As expected, it was wild, entertaining, and unpredictable.

Then, I closed off the show by bringing in my 52nd birthday.

I welcome prospects analyst Steven Ellis of Daily Faceoff to mock the top of the first round of the 2026 NHL Entry Draft. We also talk about who the Vancouver Canucks could pick at 3 and 24 in the first round.

As part of their rebuild, should the Vancouver Canucks consider trading one of their veteran players for picks and/or prospects?Potential trade targets are Jake DeBrusk, Elias Pettersson, Brock Boeser, Filip Hronek, Marcus Pettersson, Thatcher Demko, and Kevin Lankinen.

I wrap up a busy weekend in sports with the Carolina Hurricanes winning the Stanley Cup, the New York Knicks winning the NBA Championship, and FIFA taking over Vancouver.

I also spend some time talking about the upcoming NHL Entry Draft that is less than two weeks away.

The talk of the Canucks drafting centre Caleb Malhotra has picked up even more since the club named his father Manny as the head coach. I talked about what this might look like, and I did a quick recap of game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final.

Then we ended with a few rounds of the most addicting game out there right now.

The first three games of the Stanley Cup Final between the Vegas Golden Knights and the Carolina Hurricanes have been must-see TV. Could this wind up being the best Final ever?

We also talk about the NHL Draft Combine and I make an announcement about my Father's Day show coming up in two weeks.

New Vancouver Canucks head coach Manny Malhotra met with the media today to talk about a wide range of topics, ranging from culture, playing style, and the prospect of drafting his son Caleb.

Ryan Johnson met with the media today and confirmed what we all suspected: that Manny Malhotra was the Canucks' first choice all along for head coach.

Vancouver Canucks General Manager Ryan Johnson announced today that the team has hired Manny Malhotra as the 23rd Head Coach in franchise history.

It seemed like a slam dunk that the Canucks were going to hire Manny Malhotra as their next head coach. While that still may be the case, it's taking a lot longer than expected.

As many Vancouver Canucks fans hope that Ivar Stenberg is still on the draft board when they pick at three, they also seem to be unfairly "piling on" Caleb Malhotra.

I talk about the many reasons why Manny Malhotra should be the next coach of the Vancouver Canucks...and how it may or may not affect who they draft next month.

In this super-sized show, I spent the first 30 minutes talking about the Canucks firing head coach Adam Foote.

Then I welcomed The Prospect Don to share his insights on this year's draft class, culminating in a Top 10 Mock Draft.
