Most movies are so bad they make you want to rip your hair out — but Shark Exorcist takes that to a whole new level of insane. If you've ever wondered just how deep for a film to be "utterly unwatchable" can go, be prepared: this one delivers a chaotic mix of demonically possessed sharks, bikini-clad actresses, questionable CGI, and a plot so nonsensical it defies all logic. And trust us, watching it might just be the worst movie decision you'll ever make—but also the funniest.
In this episode, we dive headfirst into one of the most hilariously terrible horror movies ever made. We break down its bizarre storylines, from demonic nun sacrifices and shark sky-shows, to a villainous priest who literally doesn't last long. You'll discover how Shark Exorcist manages to combine shark horror with demonic possession and, somehow, a splash of underwhelming nudity—though none of it lands. We also discuss the constant string of scenes that feel slapped together without any effort for continuity or coherence, making it a perfect “so-bad-it’s-good” disaster.
You’ll hear us roast the laughable acting, the CGI that looks like it was made with a bad video game emulator, and dialogue so awkward that even frat-boy humor feels more polished. We reflect on how low-budget filmmaking, with a mere $300,000, results in film choices that are equal parts baffling and hilarious. From the director’s long history of exploitation flicks to the peculiar choices behind the demon shark's sky appearances, we unravel what makes this film a true low point in bad cinema.
Perfect for fans of cinematic trainwrecks, horror buffs craving unintentional comedy, or anyone curious how a movie could be so bad it’s almost good—yet painfully so. Whether you’re a seasoned bad-movie connoisseur or just looking for something to mock with friends, this episode is your guide to the abyss of garbage film. Spoiler: we’re contemplating watching the sequel, so you won’t want to miss our predictions—and the laugh-out-loud moments along the way.
If you’re tired of “so-bad-it’s-good” movies and want to understand how chaos translates onto the screen, hit play now. Warning: this episode might just be as mind-boggling as Shark Exorcist itself, so buckle up for a wild, hilarious ride into the worst film you’ll never forget.
