My name is Kenneth Vigue, author and narrator of this podcast. Growing up my grandmother would take me to the library in the town where I grew up every weekend. One fateful day, I ventured out of the children's room and headed up the massive Victorian staircase to the upstairs. I was awestruck by the 3-level open space, surrounded with balconies filled with books. In one cornered I wandered up to the very top level and found a dark and dusty corner room. It was filled floor to ceiling with records, which I had never seen before. I checked out "Lights Out: Murder Castle", a vintage radio horror. So began a lifelong love of the kind of audio wizardry that could be cooked up with sound long, long before television. It required an active imagination, and it cultivated it in turn.
Podcasting today has given new life to this vintage auditory art form, with groundbreaking shows such as "The NoSleep Podcast", "Limetown" and "The Black Tapes" being modern versions of classic radio drama.
With this podcast, 3 of my great loves have come together into some kind of mutated concoction of sound. My hope is to see more Fallout fans getting creative, sharing their passion and building on this amazing universe.
In a single day, Appalachia's peacekeepers and independent forces have fallen. The Five-0 New Responders HQ is in ruins, the radio station is empty, mindlessly looping songs and the Overseer is missing. Elsewhere Commander Johns and Charles Bishop still are hunting for Hugo Warren, their trail ending at Sugar Grove. With the help of an old ally, they uncover dark secrets that raise even more questions about Project Lazarus and the Appalachia Experiment. The Judge is on the move, about to fire the first shot that will mark the beginning of the Battle for Appalachia. The board is set, the pieces are in place. It all starts now.

The holidays have returned to Appalachia and with it, a dusty band of wandering performers led by the enigmatic, yet haunted Lord Alastair Olivier (Wes Johnson). Still changed in spirit since performing, "A Christmas Carol" last year, a heart once cold has begun to thaw and with it comes the terrible yearning to recapture a lost memory. A rare collaboration from the factions in the region has resulted in the rebuilding of WSAZ-TV, West Virginia's first television. A lost holiday classic is about to be recreated and broadcast...but sometimes nostalgia can be a trap.
Staged as part of the Fallout For Hope charity drive to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, we are joined by Bethesda's Pete Hines with the who's who of video game voice actors from Fallout 3, 4 and 76 and beyond.
