October Astrology Forecast + Tarot (Wildflowers): Venus Retrograde in Scorpio, Libra New Moon & Taurus Full Moon
On Cauldron Her Daddy, Sarai Johnson and Meredith Holley preview October with a Dolly Parton–inspired tarot spread based on “Wildflowers” and a detailed astrology forecast. Sarai frames the month’s theme as the Queen of Swords reversed—recognizing resilience by aligning thoughts and emotions—then pulls Page of Cups (release naïveté/idealization), King of Cups (caregiver/martyr expectations), Four of Swords (rest and recovery), King of Pentacles (sustainable abundance), Nine of Wands reversed (stop pre-worrying; trust your survival record), the Hierophant (discernment and self-defined beliefs), Knight of Swords (boldly pursue mystery), and Five of Cups (make space for grief). Meredith outlines key transits: Venus stations retrograde Oct 3 in Scorpio, new moon in Libra Oct 10, Pluto stations direct Oct 15, Mercury retrograde begins Oct 24 in Scorpio, full moon in Taurus Oct 25 as Venus re-enters Libra, and Samhain/Halloween Oct 31, emphasizing boundaries, honesty, rest, and avoiding paranoia or possessiveness.
As always, Sarai uses the Fifth Spirit Tarot: https://www.hayhouse.com/fifth-spirit-tarot-card-deck
