Unsticking your Transformation with Liz Smeaton and Natasha Redman - Guest hosted by Peter Lam25 Nov 202400:52:16

Projects and transformations keep failing. Many transformations don't achieve all of their intended goals.

Benefits? Barely getting something over the line before the money runs out is often defined as success, and what gets delivered bears little resemblance to the original change vision.

People keep claiming certifications or 'secret' recipes can solve these problems - but brutally - these failures persist. We argue about how (waterfall vs agile vs BAU) to deliver - but no matter the method, there are always transformations that get stuck, get blocked, get complicated and get messy. And at the end of the day, what really matters is the people who are living the change, as they can ultimately unlock the benefits defined in the business case.

Why does this matter? As project managers and leaders - we should be accountable for successful delivery of outcomes and benefits. So anything that helps us unstick the transformation and help it land is what separates a great change leader from an adequate one.

Guest hosted by podcast alumni Peter Lam, he has an in depth discussion with Tash along with Liz Smeaton (transformation and change industry legend) where they share real life case studies and practical advice on what you can do to get your transformation unstuck.
