In 2025 we are going to rewatch and discuss every episode of Carry On..., the British comedy series that began in 1958 and were all directed by Gerald Thomas, written by Norman Hudis then Talbot Rothwell. They were know for starring Kenneth Williams and Sid James. In many years they were the highest grossing film at the British cinema.

Today we Carry On...Admiral; Darren welcomes Hugh and Dev (Grosse Point Blank Minute) to talk about the not a Carry On film, Admiral. But really we are just talking about how this film ended up making Carry On happen, and also how the director ended up killing Carry On films.

Today we Carry On...Sergeant Darren talks to Hugh and Dev about the first Carry On film in the series. The first of the 31 official films. Bob Monkhouse is called up for national serivce and while in the barracks he meets the wacky characters, including regulars Kenneth Connor, Kenneth Williams and Charles Hawtrey.

There is hilarity on the ward as the series finally becomes a series, the success of the first film meant the second was rushed into production based on a play, and the regulars return, spending their time on a ward with various characters.
