Since Norris was young, car culture and automobiles have been a central part of his life.
Growing up, his father was the stereotypical 50's hotrodder with the nostalgic flattop
haircut and a 1929 Model A roadster that he built. Later, his Dad would go on to drag
race a front-engine "slingshot" and eventually do some circle track racing.

Norris grew up hearing those stories and that was the spark that turned him into a car
guy. By the time Norris was a senior in high school, he was bracket racing at multiple
tracks in the Midwest and later did some stock car racing.

Norris started his business in 1982 in a 4-car garage in a residential part of town. Back
then he was doing machine shop work, boring blocks, valve jobs, etc… his customers
were racers, street rodders, and shops. The business grew into doing complete
engines, and eventually, it turned into a factory where they re-manufactured engines.
That business eventually topped out at 100 engines a day.

Today BluePrint Engines is the authority in crate engines and has produced over
400,000 crate engines. BluePrint Engines operates out of a 210,000 sq foot state-of-
the-art facility in Kearney, Nebraska.

Norris has served on the SEMA Board of Directors since 2022.

Trevor was born into it, his dad had him at the race track at an early age and of course Trevor took to it all, from burning fuel to shredding tires, the apple didn't fall from the tree. Jeff Jackson, a local C10'r decided to commision a local "BUILDER" for a full build and after a year and over $85K, yep OVER $85K he pulled what was left and moved on!!

Paul Hitch was the Chief Engineer of Chevrolet Trucks from 1965 - 1976. Working for GM from 1935-1978. 

Paul turned 102 just a few months after this recording dropped. He passed away March of 2020, just after truning 103. I always enjoyed my time talking with Paul, and I will be forever greatful for his friendship, and that I was able to share that with you all! 

Paul shares some great knowledge with us about the trucks, the history and his career. 

His son Doug Hitch sits in on this one as well.

Lynzie always remembered her dads "Old Truck" but did she think should could ever get it back? Well once she knew it was still around, and with a little (A lot) help from her Boyfriend Drew, they found the truck and were able to bring it back to life. Of course there is more than meets the eye with this story as well. Lynzie's dad unfortunately took his own life, and Lynzie would like to use this truck, his truck as a symbol of "suicide prevention" and bringing awareness to others for a greater cause.
