We're joined by Marvel by the Month's Jamie Wenger for the 2nd half of Marvel Comics Presents' "Children of the Beast" story from issues 57-59. Jack Russell's life (both diurnal and nocturnal) will be forever changed after the events of this tale. He walked into this story the Jack Russell we've known and loved, but he rides out of it a man...a '90s man.

We talk Werewolf by Night with Leonardo Nam, the talented actor who played the hunter Liorn in the WbN Disney+ special.
We review the first 3 chapters in the story "Children of the Beast" that appeared in Marvel Comics Presents #54-56. There's a startling revelation about the nature of Jack's curse and it changes the who he was, is, and shall be forever. (so...a retcon)

In the privacy of his Sanctum Sanctorum, Stephen Strange turns to the Book of the Vishanti...
This back-up set the stage for "The Vampiric Verses," a storyline that would signal the return of vampires to the Marvel universe. We used it as an opportunity to look back at some of the big beats in the story of Jack and his ancestors. Nostalgia!

Spidey is zapped in NYC and wakes up strapped to a table in a Balkan castle with a very familiar monster next to him. The Monster Maker Baron Ludwig von Shtupf has a sinister plan for these fellas straight out of a Poverty Row horror flick.

For our final season, we're covering the short life of Martin Goodman's Atlas/Seaboard comics by reviewing all the debut issues from their line.
