| KSP2 Ep13 - Offline: Changing Sphere of Influence? | 28 Nov 2023 | 00:58:10 | |
We've hit a crossroad. We came back to celebrate KSP2, but it's not quite there yet. Maybe we jumped on the bandwagon too quickly. Maybe we're too long in the tooth to report on another development of a game. Or maybe we need to focus a little less on just KSP. We discuss our feelings about the show as it stands currently and ask for some feedback on where we go from here.

| KSP2 Ep3 - 0.1.1.0 Patch and The Mod Father: LinuxGuruGamer | 21 Mar 2023 | 01:42:29 | |
With Aki and Read absent, Mator and Digi are joined by a guest: LinuxGuruGamer (The Mod Father!), who is a prolific modder, mod saviour and mod janitor of Kerbal Space Program. Linux talks through what it means to be a mod-maker/mod-maintainer. The hosts also discuss the very welcomed KSP2 0.1.1.0 patch. 0:05:00 - Personal Progress Music was created by Popskyy - www.popskyy.bandcamp.com Host Links: Social Links: Contact: boostersandspacetape@gmail.com
| KSP2 Ep2 - 0.1.0 Review, Starlink and Plasma | 12 Mar 2023 | 01:21:45 | |
Mator, Digi and Read run through their thoughts on KSP2 after the Early-Access release. This is the first episode where Aki is absent from the team, but does not escape the editing. Read offers concerns over what the Starlink project might mean for the future of outer-space while Digi brings in a new section to the show... 'That's not science, Digi!'. Finally, Mator announces some future changes to the show as all four hosts try to find a way to form a recording routine. 0:03:45 - Personal Progress Music was created by Popskyy - www.popskyy.bandcamp.com Host Links:

| BST Relaunched! Ep7 - KSP 1.11, KSP2 Delay and Rocket Launches | 28 Dec 2020 | 01:41:08 | |
Only Mator and Aki are present for this show. Read was feeling under the weather and Digi was unable to attend a mid-week recording. But we could not delay the episode any longer as it was our last chance to record in the year 2020. We discuss what the the Kerbal Space Program 1.11 update will bring and share our excitement for this release. KSP2 is delayed until 2022 and we share our thoughts on that as well as the most recent Dev Diary from Intercept Games. Mator shares his experience with the most recent rocket launches and who will be the first members to walk on the moon. Aki discusses the sad news of the Arecibo Observatory collapse. 0:08:13 - Personal progress Music was created by Popskyy - www.popskyy.bandcamp.com Host Links:

| BST Relaunched! Ep5 - KSP 1.10 Overview, Intercept Games and Bad Segues | 18 Nov 2020 | 01:43:07 | |
An episode is squeezed out just before Aki returns to the UK and it seems the pandemic hasn't caused a lack of news for both Kerbal Space Program and KSP2 this time. Version 1.10 drops for KSP and we go over the new features while the KSP2 slot is taken up with an inevitable discussion about the new Intercept Games studio. Mator runs through the Crew Dragon Demo-2 launch in our real-space segment while Aki get the other hosts to guess the RPM of the fastest known spinning object. A community questions has us discussing which launch/mission in history we would like to be a part of. 0:05:05 - Personal progress Music was created by Popskyy - www.popskyy.bandcamp.com Host Links:

| *BONUS* BST Relaunched! Ep4 After Party | 20 Jul 2020 | 00:52:39 | |
We decided to leave the record button on after closing out the KSP content and this is the result. Our after-parties leave us discussing non-KSP related general gaming news and other material (including crock-pots!). Topics covered are the new pricing for Twitch in Australia, Steam Licencing, Fallout 4 Creation Club headaches, a streamers culinary best friend, and current and wishful game remakes! Warning - this episode contains strong language!
| BST Relaunched! Ep4 - Making History Overview, KSP2 Desires and Theia Theory | 11 Jul 2020 | 01:51:14 | |
The pandemic continues to hinder our sanity as well as the release of fresh information, so we return to the Making History expansion for an overview of what the DLC provides. We discuss some things we'd like to see in KSP2 before moving on to our first listener email since relaunching the show. The Real Solar System mod is discussed as a result, and we also cover some communication mods that we've been using in recent play-through's of Kerbal Space Program. We revisit some questions from the last episode in the real-space section and The Read Panda brings the Theia Theory, which covers the most popular idea on the formation of the Moon, to his Space History Corner. 0:06:54 - Personal progress Music was created by Popskyy - www.popskyy.bandcamp.com Host Links: Social Links: boostersandspacetape@gmail.com
| BST Relaunched! Ep3 - 1.8 Moar Boosters Overview, KSP2 Dev3 and NASA Worm Logo | 14 May 2020 | 01:43:05 | |
Perhaps our most wayward episode with the longest intro to date! We get immensely side-tracked during our intro segment, but it should still be good entertainment. We’ll blame the lack of new KSP contact, thanks to the current pandemic. Skip the first 30 minutes if all you want is Kerbal Space Program news. Although not much has happened for KSP 1 or 2 in recent times, we still have a good go at discussing some of the past and upcoming features. We cover off on what update 1.8 ‘Moar Boosters!’ brought us for Kerbal Space Program and we also talk about our thoughts on the latest KSP2 dev update. In real-space we spin some facts on the Mars Helicopter while celebrating NASA bringing back the ‘Worm Logo’. TheReadPanda talks about the space-stations that ‘never were’ in his History Corner. 0:03:37 - Personal progress Music was created by Popskyy - www.popskyy.bandcamp.com Host Links: Social Links: boostersandspacetape@gmail.com
| BST Relaunched! Ep2 - Electric Boogaloo | 20 Apr 2020 | 01:18:55 | |
We review the biggest changes in the Kerbal Space Program 1.9.1 release and attempt to drag out some of the upcoming features from the latest KSP2 news. Real-space covers the new Mars 2020 rover 'Perseverance' and we try some inventive names for the new Mars Helicopter that will be accompanying the roaming vehicle. Matoro also comes up with a new technical term for solar panel deployment... 0:01:55 – What we've been up to Music was created by Popskyy - www.popskyy.bandcamp.com

Aki mentions the OSIRIS-Rex mission extension that will see it become OSIRIS-APEX and Digi does not dissapoint with his not-science questions. | BST Ep33 - Offline Special #2: Broadening the Horizon | 04 Apr 2017 | 01:14:50
Join us for our second special offline episode and last dedicated KSP recording as we discuss the changes that will be coming to this podcast. The feedback we have received from both the live and at-home audience has been extremely positive regarding our proposed changes and we have already begun work on the new format for the show.
| BST Ep32 - Mountains of Salt and Soundwaves in Space | 27 Mar 2017 | 01:28:12 | |
Digi returns back to the show with his bad jokes for a full-house lineup. We quickly breeze over our recent KSP adventures to get to the discussion over Squad revealing their 'Big Announcement'. Despite sugar coatings from Aki and perspective changes from the Panda, beware for much cynicism and salt in this episode...
| BST Ep31 - Bad Secret-Project Guessing, 2nd-Hand Vegetarians and Gazebos | 21 Mar 2017 | 01:12:59 | |
In the absence of DigitalPsychosis we do our best to inject the silliness into this episode as we discuss our recent adventures in Kerbal Space Program. With the help of the live chat we throw out some, what turned out to be, bad guesses for the Secret Project that Squad has been working on for the past few months. The Read Panda has some obsessions over the Fallout series and gazebos while Aki explains how he is a second-hand vegetarian. Listener mail and Tweets are also read out.
| BST Ep30 - Something, Something Minmus Landing | 05 Mar 2017 | 01:31:41 | |
Digi returns to the show with his bad jokes and awkward moments. We talk about our recent ventures with Kerbal Space Program, discuss the latest development news and mods and reading out listener messages. In our real-space segment the observations of Proxima Centauri are discussed as well as some interesting research in metallic hydrogen.
| BST Ep29 - KriSPmas Streams, 1.2.2 Release and John Glenn | 23 Jan 2017 | 00:54:03 | |
A trio in the form of Aki, Read and Mator take the helm of this episode. We talk about our KriSPmas streaming adventures on KSPTV for the 5 year celebration of Kerbals Space program and a few extra things discovered in the release of 1.2.2. The passing of John Glenn is covered in our real-space section, as does some de-classified history of the Soviets weaponising orbital vehicles.

| BST Ep28 - Modding Concerns, Mootians and Kofeyh's Coffee | 28 Dec 2016 | 01:45:02 | |
While Digi is away, Kofeyh joins us in the fourth seat as we report on our latest experiences in the Kerbal Space Program universe. Although there is little development news at the time of recording, Read brings forward a topic that sparks a big discussion regarding the direction of the modding community. In our real astronomy segment we talk about the successes of the recent ExoMars mission and also Cassini's next grand adventure. A lot of tweets and mail from our listeners also bloats out this episode.

| BST Ep27 - KSP 1.2.2, Spaceplane Mods, Trump and the Super-Moon | 27 Nov 2016 | 01:08:29 | |
In Episode 27 DigitalPsychosis rejoins the team to cover our latest progress in Kerbal Space Program, albeit a bit dry. We talk about SQUADs progress on the 1.2.2 patch and welcome a new senior developer. TheReadPanda offers his experience with the OPT and Mk4 Spaceplane mods in the modding section. For our Real Space segment we discuss MatoroIgnika's experience at the GOES-R launch, the future options for NASA and that darned Super-Moon hype.

Digital Psychosis was in PAX Australia at the time of recording so Million_Lights joins us as a guest on the show and discusses the new SquadCast format. The Read Panda runs through the fun he's been having with the OPT Spaceplane mod and we discuss the ESAs Schiaparelli crash in the real space section.

| KSP2 Ep10 - v0.1.3 Patch Review, Scalable UI and @DavidJDPhotos | 05 Jul 2023 | 01:31:59 | |
Digi returns after a period of time away so Mator and Aki catch him up on recent discussions. TheReadPanda is absent for this recording. We discuss the recent KSP2 v0.1.3 update as well as the seemingly contraversial 20% discount that is currently on offer for the game. Mator manages to view three rocket launches on one trip and we wonder the future of private ventures after the news of the Titan sub. We end on a high note with Digi's not-so-science science.

We run through our experiences with version 1.2 so far as well as giving a brief over view of the features. We cover our progress in KSP, our thoughts on 1.1.3 and 1.2 development. We also discuss the upcoming console releases, the likelihood of mods on consoles and what we expect to see beyond 1.2. Without our constant rudder, The Read Panda, it was up to Aki, Digi and Mator to run show. We're very excited to discuss the pending release of KSP 1.1 (or what we call the REAL 1.0). We highlight the new features of 1.1 and whether it has lived up to the hype. We also say farewell to the trusty single retractable undercarraige that has been with us for so long.
