Could it be? Another Monday shows it's merciless face, hungry and cold - a mere 7 days since the last Monday stumbled in. Clearly, Monday had been drinking and without the slightest provocation it pulled out a bat, the words “adulting” crudely carved into its side. Chaos ensued, the masses tripping over one another in their haste to escape cruel Monday as it began swinging with abandon. Good folk were hit again and again, the pain of responsibility and the agony of being a contributing member of society radiating from where Monday's careless swings connected. Some suffered from the wounds of countless meaningless emails, others meetings' that should have been emails. Worse were those who wailed from the oozing wounds of a morning commute, the unluckiest of these receiving a double portion as Monday's backswing struck again, adding the internal hemorrhaging of traffic to the gash of their commute - truly a life threatening combination. All would have been lost had one fearless soul not known Monday's weakness - the Minute. Book in one hand, Bluetooth speaker in the other the opening “dun dun dun” sang loud and true and Monday knew, it was the sound of defeat. Banished once again for 7 days when it will come forth again it's adulting bat eager for flesh. Just like that Monday was gone, its mournful keen promising vengeance before becoming ash on the winds of excellent book commentary. Though the air is still heavy with echoes of it's sworn return that day is not this day. Once again, like sun rays on a vampire, the indomitable Monday Morning Minute has rendered Monday's threats into powerless dust quickly forgotten on the wind of adventures to be told, stories to be reviewed, and books to read. Stand strong and prepare yourself for it is time for another exciting episode of Book Reviews Kill!
