Although his adolescent decisions led to success, and possibly even meeting his wife, he is still unable to shake the memories of not living up to the highest standard in his former mentor’s eyes. Is it better to work yourself to the bone to accomplish admiration from your superiors? Or cut it off before it seriously impacts your mental health and up brining?
