Mister Jake Rodenroth came to hang out with us today on Body Bangin’! As the Operations Manager for the Collision Centers in North America for Lucid and a lifetime in the automotive and collision industry he knows a thing or two. Lucid’s have the longest range (520 miles) and the fastest charging of any of the EVs on the market! One thing I really like is that they aren’t fully touch screen. They have dials and knobs which I miss on some of the other EVs. Did you know that EVs are QUICK off the line? Lucid’s have 820 – 1K horsepower! FUNNN! When looking for a shop to be certified on their program they are looking first and foremost at culture. Are you educating your guests and talking to them at the beginning of the repair? Do you have a strong online presence? It’s important to put those marketing shoes on and make sure you have a website that accurately depicts your shop as well as a Google My Business listing that showcases your shop with accurate directions to get there (if you are off the beaten path). One thing that differentiates the Lucid program is the amount of support and education they provide for their shops. They have monthly meetings to keep everyone in the loop and full access to support. They also have a repair tracker, technology to monitor the repair, coaching the 3D repair system they are rolling out.
