Finding Your Voice: How Elite Communication Turns Ideas Into Impact22 Dec 202500:29:53

What if your biggest growth bottleneck isn’t your strategy, your funnel, or your offer—but how you communicate your ideas?

In this episode of BizNinja Entrepreneur Radio, Tyler Jorgenson welcomes longtime friend and world-class communicator Hannah Kim—a classically trained opera singer turned TEDx speaker, event curator, and founder of Purpose Speaking.

Hannah shares her unconventional journey from music school to entrepreneurship, challenging the “starving artist” narrative and building a profitable, purpose-driven career around communication. Together, they explore why experience alone doesn’t make someone a great speaker, how rejection builds confidence, and why preparation—not talent—is the real antidote to stage fear.

They also dive deep into the TEDx world: what organizers actually look for, why most applications fail, and how to structure an idea that solves a real problem. Hannah reveals practical tools—including pacing, presence, and reframing rejection—that anyone can use to instantly elevate their communication, whether on stage, on camera, or in business conversations.

This episode is a masterclass in visibility, confidence, and turning your message into real-world impact.

Key Takeaways

  • Why comfort on stage doesn’t equal excellence—and how training closes the gap
  • How artists and entrepreneurs can break free from inherited “scarcity” narratives

Will Nitze - Founder of EatIQBar.com07 Jun 202100:26:24

Getting into Harvard isn’t easy.

The famous university has an acceptance rate of below 5%, according to Prep Expert. But do you know what’s way harder? Getting your first business idea off the ground within 12 months.

Do you want to know someone who achieved both?

Meet Will Nitze.

Will studied psychology and neuroscience at Harvard, where he became obsessed with the human brain. While studying the brain, he noticed that most people start having difficulties concentrating at around 14:30 due to brain fog or headaches.

During his research, he discovered that all of these brain problems can be traced back to diet.

Back in 2016, there were no “grab-and-go” food items geared toward brain function on the market. Realizing this, Will had his “eureka” moment, and the idea was born. Will spent a year in his Boston apartment, perfecting the formula, before coming out with the IQBAR.

He successfully funded his idea through Kickstarter raising $73,664 in the process. Less than four years later, his company earns more than $4 million every year, just from IQBAR sales.

The campaign was so successful, he wrote a book about it.

Join us, as we discuss Will’s academic career, his product-first mentality, and his mission of empowering “doers” through healthy nutrition.

Key Takeaways

  • How did Will get into the health bar business (01:04)
  • When did Will know that he wanted to become an entrepreneur (04:16)
  • The biggest obstacle he faced when he started his business (06:13)
  • How do you pivot from a Kickstarter campaign to launching a brand (11:26)
  • What are IQBAR’s short-term and long-term business goals (16:21)

The Event Strategy You’ll Never Forget22 Sep 202500:28:24

Have you ever thought about running an event in space? Yeah… me neither—until today.

In this episode, I sit down with Brody Lee, an entrepreneur who turned a near-death experience into a mission to change the world through human connection. From selling fake hall passes in high school to closing $20k at his very first (one-person!) event, Brody’s journey is nothing short of wild.

We dive into how events aren’t just about selling from the stage—they’re about curating transformational experiences that respect the real costs people pay to show up: their money, time, and relationships. Brody breaks down why treating your attendees like ATMs is a losing game, how he built (and walked away from) a $3.5M business, and why he’s now aiming for a billion-dollar moonshot with events that could literally take us to the stars.

If you’ve ever wondered how to create meaningful, profitable events—or if you just need a reminder of what’s possible when you refuse to quit—this is an episode you’ll want to grab a front-row seat for.

Brandon Schwartz - Co-Founder of DRNXMYTH03 May 202100:25:36

Joshua Jacobs Co-Founder of Speakeasy Co12 Apr 202100:27:41

A cocktail subscription box service sounds like an awesome and profitable business idea, right? Delivering spirits to people’s homes with instructions on how to prepare their cocktails is fund and lucrative. Especially since alcohol consumption rose during the pandemic.

Joshua Jacobs would agree. After all, he created a service like that. However, Josh had a bigger vision.

In 2015, Josh with a couple of friends launched Speakeasy Co. They got their start as a cocktail subscription service. They doubled up their subscribers monthly during the first 6 months. By 2018, they were also selling craft spirits through their website.

That’s when Josh saw an opportunity to help alcohol brands start selling directly to the consumers and explore the B2B sector.

Listen as we discuss how a relatively simple business idea evolved into a market powerhouse that helped Elon Musk launch Tesla Tequila, which sold out in just a couple of hours.

Key Takeaways

From Logo to Legacy: What Branding Really Means15 Sep 202500:28:43

Most entrepreneurs start out thinking they need a logo and a website. But branding goes so much deeper—it’s about shaping perception, standing out, and creating an authentic identity that attracts the right people.

In this episode, I sit down with Re Perez, a global branding expert and the founder of Branding for the People. Re’s story is incredible—he went from corporate branding in New York to launching his own agency, betting on himself with no list, no audience, and still pulling off a six-figure event right out of the gate.

We dive into:

  • The “aha” moment when Re realized he wasn’t meant for corporate politics and took the leap into entrepreneurship.
  • How he launched his agency by charging bold prices and enrolling people into his vision—even when others said it wouldn’t work.
  • Why his book “Your Brand Should Be Gay (Even If You’re Not)” challenges the way we think about authenticity and boldness in branding.
  • The difference between just having a business and actually building a brand that pulls in your dream clients.
  • Why being polarizing can be one of the most powerful branding tools you have.
  • His favorite case studies, from small LSAT prep companies to multi-location businesses that scaled massively because of branding clarity.
  • And finally, how he’s now helping entrepreneurs build not just one brand, but an ecosystem of brands in the era of AI.

This conversation isn’t just about branding—it’s about courage, clarity, and betting on yourself. Re’s journey is packed with lessons every entrepreneur can apply right now.

Key Takeaways

  • Branding is not your logo—it’s the perception people have about you before you even walk in the room.
  • Not everyone is meant to be your client, and that’s okay.
  • Authenticity and boldness will push some people away but pull the right people toward you.
  • Vision + execution beats waiting until you “feel ready.”

Amanda Signorelli - Golden Steer Steak Company09 Nov 202000:27:43

The Golden Steer is the oldest and most famous steak house in Las Vegas. Once the hub for mob bosses and the Rat Pack, the fine dining experience and ambiance continue to live on. This week, I talked to Amanda Signorelli, who stepped into the family business to help bring fine dining into homes across America through their Virtual Private Dining and Fine Dining In A Box offerings.

It's been such a cool opportunity to watch entrepreneurs' ingenuity as they navigate their business uncertainties. The strides Amanda has made is especially exciting!

Because The Golden Steer has been such a staple in the Las Vegas community, Amanda knew they would have to get pretty creative with how they would serve their customers. A significant portion of their customer base used the restaurant as a meeting place to network and host business functions. When Covid pushed everyone to step away from exciting dinners and onto boring zoom calls, she immediately identified a new need in the market.

People were going to miss the fine dining experience, so she developed a way to bring it into their homes. What makes her strategy so remarkable is that she and her husband have consistently kept a long term vision. Instead of going for a quick cash grab, they methodically organized a solution that would work for years to come.

Tune in this week to learn how their new business venture materialized and the response they've gotten since launching. It might just give you your next great idea!

Key Takeaways

  • When Amanda stepped into the family business (01:25)
  • When she realized she is an entrepreneur (03:30)
  • How she came up with the virtual private dining (06:21)

Entrepreneurship in the Age of AI: Building, Failing, and Bouncing Back01 Sep 202500:32:25

From running a rogue lemonade stand in third grade (complete with hired second-graders) to leading the charge in agentic AI, Anik Singal’s entrepreneurial journey is as unconventional as it is inspiring. In this episode of BizNinja Entrepreneur Radio, host Tyler Jorgenson dives into Anik’s fascinating backstory—from dropping a full-ride pre-med scholarship, stumbling through MLMs, and convincing his skeptical father that a $30,000 ClickBank check wasn’t a scam, to building multimillion-dollar businesses like Sendlane, WebinarCon, and now Ugentic AI.

Anik opens up about the highs and lows of his career, including the near-collapse that left him $1.7 million in debt, the life-threatening stress of Crohn’s disease, and the brutal lessons he learned while trying (and failing) to build a tech company without the right foundation. He candidly shares how the “golden touch” complex nearly destroyed him—and how humility, mentors, and relentless learning pulled him back.

Now, with Ugentic AI, Anik is on a mission to bring cutting-edge, autonomous AI workflows to small businesses—the 75% of entrepreneurs still untouched by AI technology. He reveals how Ugentic AI can give small businesses a competitive edge, streamline workflows, and even reclaim the one thing every entrepreneur craves: freedom. Along the way, he sprinkles in life lessons, powerful takeaways, and a heartfelt reminder that entrepreneurship is about creating the life you want—not just the business you build.

Takeaways

  • The Entrepreneurial Signs Start Early: Even childhood hustles can reveal entrepreneurial instincts—sometimes in hilariously “non-kosher” ways.
  • Big Wins Come with Big Lessons: Success in one arena doesn’t guarantee success in another. You need humility, the right partners, and constant learning.
  • Debt & Failure Aren’t the End: Hitting rock bottom financially or health-wise can become the catalyst for growth and reinvention.
  • Ugentic AI is Here Now: Autonomous AI workflows aren’t science fiction—they’re already reshaping business, and small businesses need to catch up fast.
  • True Success means Freedom: For Anik, the ultimate milestone isn’t another exit—it’s carving out more time with his family while running world-changing companies.
