| Big Shot Bob – Ep 278 – The Rooter to the Tooter | 29 sept. 2026 | 01:10:43 | |
Episode 278 gets recorded with a playoff game going on about 500 feet away. The Braves and Phillies are playing the NL Wild Card at Truist Park, so B-Dawg spends the first part of the show downstairs dealing with the chaos before he finally makes it in. It's been a day, and you can see it on his face.
NBA media days gave us plenty to work with. JJ Redick had the line of the week about the Lakers' starting five, something very strange is happening behind Austin Reaves during his scrum, and Big Shot Bob explains why he never once did a radio station drop. Walker Kessler reportedly pushed his way out of Utah, Kawhi shut down questions before anybody could ask them, and Tyrese Haliburton and Kyrie Irving both say they're fully cleared. Kyrie is coming up on 600 days since his last game, and Robert wants to see him move before he makes any promises. LeBron says the Sixers have to get comfortable being uncomfortable, which gets us to the real question: who takes a back seat in Philly? Jenners is worried about VJ Edgecombe. Robert says it's Tyrese Maxey and compares it to what happened to Darius Garland in Cleveland. Then he explains why "who's the alpha" doesn't mean much on a team that wins, using the Shaq and Kobe Lakers as proof. (He did not say he was better than Kobe. Jenners tried.)
Also this week, Jalen Duren's contract standoff and the weight clauses in Detroit's offer, which sends Robert into a story about Pat Riley's body fat tests in Miami and why he was happy to be in San Antonio. Giannis meets his first Florida iguanas. And Steph Curry says he played through blurry vision during the Warriors run. Robert isn't buying it, because teams check everything "from the rooter to the tooter." That's your episode title.
On the football side, Michael Penix drops a live "pause" in his postgame, and Iowa's student radio crew barely survives their call of the win over Michigan in the Big House. Then it's college football picks. Jenners is 3-12 on the season, so he's going full George Costanza and picking the opposite of every instinct he has, including against his own Hurricanes at Clemson. Dan Lanning, Lincoln Riley and the big buyout club all come up along the way.
Big Shot of the Week goes to Erin Howell. An 81-year-old man delivering lost airline luggage in Dallas-Fort Worth brought bags to her house, she helped him carry them in, and then she started a GoFundMe that raised $700,000 so he could stop working and pay for his wife's cancer treatment. That turns into a conversation about the healthcare system, and Robert breaks into an ad read for SureCo out of nowhere. Five and a half years into this show, that's how we found out he's the company's chief impact officer.
We wrap with Preseason Prediction Fails, looking back at how far off Vegas and the NBA GMs were last year on the Spurs, Pistons, Pacers, Knicks, Mavs, Lakers and Thunder, along with this season's numbers.

| Big Shot Bob – Shoot Around Ep 148 – Web Cam Side Hustle | 25 sept. 2026 | 00:20:38 | |
Syracuse coach Fran Brown got in a ref's face and gave him the flinch, like he was about to swing. The ref didn't move. He just threw the flag. So on this week's Shoot Around, Robert Horry, Rob Jenners and Brandon "Harp" Harper go through the biggest loser moves they've seen from a coach, and Robert tells two stories we'd never heard: why he told his high school coach there was no way he was visiting Bobby Knight at Indiana, and the time Gene Keady cut him and Grant Hill from a team so he could keep a roster full of Big Ten players.
Shaq is officially an honorary FBI agent now (his advice to the graduating class was to arrest Charles Barkley), so a listener wanted to know what we'd chase if we weren't doing this. Chef, lawyer and, from Harp, marine biologist, right up until a big enough roach walks by. That leads to safaris, deep sea fishing and why at least one of us will never be that far from land again.
Then a listener sends in the Robins: Kyrie, Wade, Klay, Pippen and AD. Robert makes the case that Kobe was a Robin on the Shaq teams and Rob isn't having it. We also watch an influencer box a remote-controlled Terminator and lose badly, and go through Bleacher Report's all-overpaid team. Robert explains why Christian Braun was better off the bench, and the Embiid contract gets scarier the further out you look.
Shoot Around drops every Friday. Catch the full Tuesday episode of the Big Shot Bob Podcast, with Jalen Duren's $200 million decision, East vs. West, our college football picks and Walmart or Waffle House, on the main channel. Got a question or a story for us? Send it our way and we'll get to it.

| Big Shot Bob – Ep 277 – The Best Credit Score in the League | 22 sept. 2026 | 01:14:28 | |
Detroit put five years and $200 million in front of Jalen Duren. He said no. With camps opening next week and his qualifying offer deadline sitting on October 1st, Robert Horry, Rob Jenners and Brandon "Harp" Harper try to figure out what he's waiting for. He isn't 23 yet. Both Thompson twins just signed. And if he plays out the qualifying offer and hits free agency, the math says he could end up with less. Robert explains how he'd handle it: take the money, then load the deal with playoff incentives.
Before we get there, Robert talks about how he used to get ready for training camp (ramp down the weights, ramp up the conditioning), what happens when your son turns 21 and suddenly wants to go to Vegas, and why tequila in a plastic bottle is really just rubbing alcohol. Harp had exactly one tequila Jell-O shot at The Battery this weekend, and he wants everyone to know he said no to the second one. We also get into the Braves heading to the wild card and who we like in the MLB playoffs.
Then it's the East vs. West argument. Is the gap still real? The guys go through the Pistons, Knicks, Sixers, Hawks, Wizards and a Lakers team nobody can quite read yet, which is where this week's title came from. Lisa Leslie gets her statue outside Crypto, Robert says the one that's missing is Dr. Buss, and a conversation about who Atlanta would honor next goes sideways the second Michael Vick comes up. Nicolas Batum retires, and we run a quick predictions round: Kawhi's games played in Toronto, Duren's decision, Ja Morant in Portland, the Lakers ownership mess and the East's top seed.
College football: Rob and Robert are both 2-8 on the season, and Harp is sitting at 5-5 and letting everyone hear about it. This week's games are Texas at Tennessee, Oklahoma at Georgia, Ole Miss at Florida, Texas A&M at LSU and Oregon at USC, which is going to be a split household at Robert's place. Plus NC State's end-of-game disaster against Vanderbilt, a Big Shout of the Week for a Missouri teacher who ran barefoot over broken glass to pull his neighbor out of a house fire, and a full round of Walmart or Waffle House.

| Big Shot Bob – Shoot Around Ep 147 – White People Pranks | 18 sept. 2026 | 00:23:48 | |
It's Friday, so Big Shot Bob and Rob Jenners are back with episode 147 of Shoot Around, the weekly grab bag show that catches everything the Tuesday show didn't get to. This week they start with the Barstool superfan who turned his Ohio State loss into a 14-hour McDonald's fundraiser for ALS, which turns into a conversation about the worst bets either of them has ever had to pay off — including the one wager that may have saved Rob and Candice's relationship.
From there it's straight into fan questions: why Derek Fisher wore his headband over his ears, what Robert Horry was actually thinking on that infamous 0.4-second shot over Tim Duncan, and the single worst relationship red flag either of them has ever heard (it involves Aaron Rodgers). Rob and B-Dawg also get honest about their own red flags, and things go sideways fast once hangover stories enter the chat.
The back half covers what team either guy would want to coach for a day after Akron let a fan call plays during a game, why managing a baseball team sounds like the most boring job in sports, and a genuinely bizarre painting from Robert Horry's playing days that's been hanging around ever since.
Catch the full Big Shot Bob Podcast every Tuesday for the real basketball talk, and come back every Friday for more of this.

| Big Shot Bob – Ep 276 – Too Much Happening In The Front | 15 sept. 2026 | 01:12:19 | |
Robert Horry and Rob Jenners are back in the man cave for episode 276, and Big Shot Bob kicks things off recapping his surprising showing at two celebrity golf tournaments before getting into the news of the week. The Kawhi Leonard trade to the Raptors is officially done, and somehow the Clippers ended up under federal investigation on top of it — Bob and Rob break down Steve Ballmer's carefully worded statement and why Danilo Galinari isn't letting Kawhi off the hook for how his career got rerouted.
From there it's a full NBA news rundown: a big free agent's “winning culture” comments about signing with Minnesota get roasted, Jalen Duren is still holding out on a new deal in Detroit, and the guys break down what the Pistons actually have at center behind him. The NBA's Board of Governors met this week too, and expansion to Vegas and Seattle is officially on the table — Bob and B-Dawg go back and forth on whether the league needs two more teams or should just relocate one instead.
There's also a Team USA women's basketball update after their FIBA World Cup gold, a Caitlin Clark clip that has Bob fired up, a Nikola Jokic rant about being tired of his own fame, and the crew's usual struggle trying to remember old CBA rules off the top of their heads.
On the football side, the guys get into Myles Garrett's early-season injury and what it means for a Rams team that came one game short of the Super Bowl last year, plus a full slate of Week 3 college football picks headlined by LSU-Ole Miss. Then it's Big Shot of the Week, honoring the man who ran up a mountain to save a stranger's life, and a stacked round of Black Crime or White Crime to close out the show.

| Big Shot Bob – Shoot Around Ep 146 – You Look Like Robert Horry | 11 sept. 2026 | 00:26:08 | |
It's Friday, which means it's time for Shoot Around. Before getting into the usual nonsense, Robert Horry, Rob, and Harp pause to mark the 25th anniversary of 9/11, sharing where they were that morning and how it shaped their generation the way JFK's assassination shaped their parents'. Then it's back to business as usual: the power outage that hit the SMU-FSU game right before kickoff leads to a rundown of the worst stadiums the guys have ever played in or visited, from a swaying old Orange Bowl to a Georgia Tech campus with no Wi-Fi.
Plus, the guys react to the wild story of a man who used a fake NFL persona to scam 26 women out of over a million dollars, Robert tells a story about a former teammate who ran the same play at the club for years, and the crew debates whether ESPN putting a random fan on camera at a college football game is doing more harm than good.
It's the usual mix of laughs, hot takes, and Robert almost getting caught by his wife — Friday wouldn't be Friday without it.

| Big Shot Bob – Ep 275 – You Can’t Judge a Book By Its First Game | 08 sept. 2026 | 01:05:58 | |
Robert Horry, Rob, and Harp are back after a Labor Day break that somehow lined up with the biggest week in the NBA all year. The NBA came down on the Clippers hard for the Kawhi Leonard cap circumvention mess — five first-round picks, a $30 million fine for Steve Ballmer, suspensions across the front office, and a slap on the wrist for Kawhi himself. The guys break down whether this is the worst free agent signing in league history, rip apart Kawhi's tone-deaf statement from his camp, and debate what real punishment should have looked like.
From there, Charles Barkley may have let a huge secret slip on Bill Simmons' show: if Ernie Johnson steps away from Inside the NBA, so does Chuck. The crew talks about why nobody in the business could ever replace Ernie, and shares a story about the kind of man he is off camera.
Plus: Jonathan Kuminga finally lands with the Timberwolves, Amen Thompson gets paid by the Rockets, Ben Simmons signs with the Kings, and the guys get into college football's chaotic Week 1 — the LSU vs. SEC drama, Michigan's controversial finish, and Dabo Swinney's rough night in Death Valley — before locking in their Week 2 picks.
Big Shot of the Week goes to a race car driver who stopped mid-race to pull a rival from a burning car. Then the guys close it out with Busted, a game built around the ugliest penalties and scandals in sports history.

| Big Shot Bob – Shoot Around Ep 145 – Not on the Chin | 28 août 2026 | 00:19:35 | |
We open this week’s Shoot Around with the wild story out of Ohio: 49ers owner Jed York getting caught up in a prostitution sting over a $140 ad, and the guys break down why guys with that kind of money still make choices like that. That leads into a detour on Flock license-plate cameras popping up everywhere, capped off by a city hall speech from a guy in a full Darth Vader costume that has to be heard to be believed.
From there it's Target's Halloween costume controversy - the one that got pulled and forced a public apology - which turns into a rundown of the worst, most tone-deaf costumes the guys have personally witnessed. There's also a detour into kids' shows sneaking jokes in for the parents, courtesy of a very memorable Bluey-style clip about the letter N.
We close out with a start-bench-cut sent over from Clutch Points: SGA, Luka Doncic and Anthony Edwards. Nobody wants to do it, but somebody's gotta cut a superstar.

| Big Shot Bob – Ep 274 – Back-Handed Birthday Gifts | 25 août 2026 | 01:03:34 | |
It's Big Shot Bob's birthday, and the fellas are treating themselves to a full plate of NBA offseason news before diving into some early football talk. Robert Horry turns 56 and gets the royal treatment from Rob and Harp right out of the gate, then the crew steps around the Enes Kanter WNBA drama entirely (on purpose) and gets into real basketball: the Wemby-Jokic showdown at the FIBA World Cup, James Harden's new deal pushing him toward the $500 million club, and whether a ring even matters at this point in his career.
From there it's a run through NBA free agency - Klay Thompson heading to Miami and immediately getting into it with people on Instagram, DeMar DeRozan's veteran-minimum move to Denver, and the five-team trade that sent Peyton Watson to Cleveland and Dennis Schroder to yet another team. Rob and Harp also break down ESPN's early East and West power rankings and argue about where Houston, Denver and the Hawks really stand heading into the season.
Football gets its turn too. Deshaun Watson is Cleveland's Week 1 starter, but he's not exactly getting a warm welcome from Browns fans - the guys dig into why, and Robert shares what it's like handling a hostile crowd as a pro. There's also a wild new ruling letting former NFL players return to college football, a debate the guys can't fully agree on, plus a Big Shot of the Week that'll actually make you feel good about people. They close it out old school with a Shootaround battle covering birds, cities, banners and number one picks.

| Big Shot Bob – Shoot Around Ep 144 – Candace Walked In Late | 21 août 2026 | 00:25:56 | |
It's Friday, which means it's time for Shoot Around. The guys kick things off with NBA 2K27 dropping soon and try to guess the top 10 rated players in the game before it releases, and let's just say a couple of MVP-caliber names slip right past them.
From there they run through which teams landed the most nationally televised games this season (four teams are tied at the top) and which teams barely made the schedule at all, before diving into the Jayden Daniels and LSU jersey number situation and what it says about how seriously players protect their old college numbers.
There's a fun detour into jersey number stories from Rob's own career, the week's audio clip of the year courtesy of a very unfiltered local newscast, and a time capsule dig through a 1997 TNT clip covering the trade that sent Rob from Phoenix to LA.
They close things out with a fan question about NBA Jam duos, which sends the whole crew down a rabbit hole of arcade nostalgia, from Mortal Kombat to Cruisin' USA.

| Big Shot Bob – Ep 273 – Passing the Lakers Like a Blunt | 18 août 2026 | 01:00:36 | |
The crew's back together after a week off, and it takes about five minutes before anyone actually mentions basketball. Bob's fresh off a trip to San Antonio (river walk, wine, a very serious debate about mashed potatoes), and once the guys settle in, they get to the real news.
The big story is the Lakers sale, or more accurately, the Lakers sale that might not be happening. Jeanie Buss is reportedly refusing to hand over her remaining stake to Bob Iger's group, and the guys dig into why she's digging in, who could realistically help her buy out her siblings, and whether Vanessa Bryant factors into any of it.
From there it's a full lap around the league. There's an update on where the Clippers salary cap investigation stands, Russell Westbrook calling it a career after 18 seasons, and a debate over which stars from the 2000s draft classes have the most left in the tank. Horry also gets something off his chest about the 2026 Hall of Fame class, and he's not shy about who he thinks got left out.
The back half is schedule season. The guys break down the best revenge games on the 2026-27 slate, argue about whether Philly got handed a cupcake schedule, and run through the week's roster news, including Bradley Beal to the Clippers, jersey retirements for Kevin Garnett and Diana Taurasi, and Dennis Schroder quietly climbing the all-time journeyman list. Then it's game time. Bob pulls the fresh Forbes franchise valuations and puts Rob and Harp through a full round of guessing which team is worth more, running across the NBA, NFL and MLB, with a few results that catch everybody off guard.

| Big Shot Bob – Ep 272 – Why You Goin Down? | 11 août 2026 | 00:57:23 | |
It's just the two of them this week — Harp's off in San Antonio, so Robert Horry and Rob Jenners are running the show solo, old-school style. No Shoot Around this Friday either, so they're packing everything into one episode.
They start with the good stuff: the NBA dropped a taste of the schedule, and the Christmas Day slate is loaded — Spurs-Knicks, Heat-Celtics, Sixers-Lakers (hello LeBron revenge tour), Thunder-Wolves, and Nuggets-Warriors closing it out. Bob and Rob debate whether Denver deserved the marquee spot over Dallas, and that turns into a bigger conversation about how much longer Jokic and Steph stick around their current teams — and why neither of them should ever, ever run for office.
From there it's opening week previews, a Pistons discussion that gets real about the Jalen Duren contract standoff, and Bob's old war stories about guys faking injuries to force a new deal. Then the Kawhi Leonard stuff. Another secret endorsement deal surfaced this week — this time with Daktronics — and the guys walk through it, plus the resurfaced details from the Lakers' 2019 free agency pitch that the league is now investigating. They get into whether the Clippers star actually suits up this season and what it means if the NBA lets this slide.
Also on deck: Dillon Brooks cashing in with a $73 million extension from the Spurs, Wemby flying the whole Spurs roster to Paris for a mini training camp, and Robert's take on a young guy trying to "lead" without doing anything out of the ordinary.
VJ Edgecombe getting FaceTimed by LeBron leads Bob into one of his own stories from his playing days, and then Scottie Pippen's blunt comments about Zion Williamson's discipline get the full breakdown — including Bob's offer to personally get Zion in shape.
They pay respects to the late, great Don Nelson, run back Adam Vinatieri's surprisingly filthy Hall of Fame speech, and there's a QVC clip that has to be heard to be believed. Big Shot of the Week goes to a Virginia man who donated a kidney to a stranger and wore his Santa hat into surgery to do it.
And to close it out — since it's just the two of them — they finally play 82 and 0 on the show for the first time, drafting all-time rosters and trying (and mostly failing) to go undefeated.

It's mailbag Friday on the Shoot Around, and the guys open things up with a tribute nobody asked for — Motown legend Martha Reeves', uh, memorable national anthem ahead of the Women's Pro Baseball League's inaugural weekend. Rob Horry and Rob Jenners can't decide if it's sweet or a bad omen, and Brandon Harper is just trying to be respectful about it.
From there it's straight into the questions. First up: ranking LeBron, KD, and Steph heading into next season, which turns into a real debate about workload, teammates, and who's actually going to be asked to do the most. Then things get weird with Harrison Bader, whose scooter reportedly found the back of a San Francisco Fire Department truck at 1:50 in the morning — Rob Horry breaks down why he's never dealt with a teammate like that on a championship roster.
The mailbag also digs into a college eligibility loophole letting a former Pitt running back explore a return to school after getting cut by the Bills, with NIL money very much part of the conversation. And to close it out, the crew finally weighs in on Spider-Man: Brand New Day, including the Tom Holland vs. Tobey Maguire vs. Andrew Garfield debate that never really goes away.

Robert Horry is broadcasting this week's show from Reykjavik, Iceland, where he's running a basketball camp — and naturally, that means a special edition of Where in the World Is Robert Horry before the guys even get to basketball talk. Big Shot Bob and Rob Jenners hold things down while B-Dawg keeps him honest on the Iceland details (yes, it really is closer to England than you'd think).
Once the travel talk wraps, the crew dives into a loaded NBA news week. The Dodgers' trade for Tarik Skubal has LA fans wondering if the Lakers can pull off something similar, but Rob Horry isn't buying a big splash — the roster's full and the pool to jump in is more kiddie-sized than Olympic. From there it's Klay Thompson trade buzz, with reports connecting him back to Los Angeles or Miami, and a real conversation about what he'd actually bring to a team defensively at this stage of his career.
The extension talk gets serious with Steph Curry, Anthony Davis, and Karl-Anthony Towns all eligible for new deals — and the guys dig into whether AD's injury history and KAT's apron situation in New York make those moves less likely than people think. That leads into the biggest storyline of the week: is it actually time for Golden State to consider life after Steph? Horry and Harper break down the Warriors' rough draft history since 2012, why Jonathan Kuminga still doesn't have a landing spot, and what a real Steph Curry trade market might even look like.
Plus: the Kawhi Leonard investigation drags into 2027, Victor Wembanyama gets his own signature Nike shoe, Chris Bosh reveals a scary health scare from earlier this year, Kelsey Plum gets traded to the Phoenix Mercury, and Kendrick Perkins' top-5-in-the-East list gets torched. All that, a big shout to a teenage lifeguard hero, and Robert Horry defending his Where in the World title from six thousand miles away.

| Big Shot Bob – Shoot Around Ep 142 – He’s Smelling Himself | 31 juil. 2026 | 00:23:22 | |
It's a lighter Friday edition of Shoot Around, just Horry and Rob Jenners running through the week's fan questions and whatever's been living in their group chat.
They start with Austin Reaves catching heat for putting himself in his own all-time starting five (next to Steph, Kobe, LeBron, and Shaq, for the record), then get into Arizona State's new bachelor's degree in "influencing" and whether that's actually a legitimate skill set or just a punchline. That turns into a fun tangent about what they'd each go back to school for if money and logic weren't an issue.
From there it's an equitable-grading-scale story that has both of them fired up, a debate about participation trophies, and a trip down memory lane on old-school discipline. Then the mood shifts: Rick Moranis got a five-minute standing ovation at Comic-Con after coming out of retirement for Spaceballs 2, and the guys get into why that moment hit different, along with the actual Spaceballs 2 synopsis and whether it can live up to the original.
They close it out plotting their own eventual Comic-Con trip, including costume ideas for a seven-foot-tall Robert Horry.

| Big Shot Bob – Ep 270 – OG Original Grandpa | 29 juil. 2026 | 01:02:18 | |
Robert Horry is back at his mom's house for the week, which means the guys start with fried catfish, La Spata's subs, and why Hardee's steak biscuits are undefeated — before getting into the biggest story of the NBA offseason.
LeBron James is headed to Philadelphia on a deal that pays him a fraction of what he's made in years past, and Horry, Jenners, and B-Dawg break down what that actually means for the Sixers. They get into the point guard experiment, whether Tyrese Maxey's game gets hurt by it, who's playing the three now that KCP and V.J. Edgecomb are both in the mix, and why Horry has real concerns about the helicopter commute rumors after what happened to Kobe.
From there it turns into a full GOAT conversation. Horry explains why he judges players by their weaknesses instead of their strengths, makes the case for Kobe belonging in the same breath as Jordan and LeBron, and lays out what it would actually mean for LeBron's legacy if he wins a title in Philly. The guys also grade the Sixers' defense, run through Draymond re-signing with the Warriors, and catch everyone up on the East, which is suddenly loaded.
Plus: the wildest stat of the week (a Miami football transfer quarterback is about to out-earn LeBron, Caitlin Clark, and Shohei Ohtani combined), a debate over people calling the NBA the "MNBA," Big Shot of the Week honoring a firefighter who pulled three kids out of a capsized boat, and Rapid Fire makes its return.

Friday means it's Shoot Around time — episode 141 of everything that didn't make the cut on Tuesday. Robert Horry, Rob Jenner, and B-Dawg kick things off with the Avengers: Doomsday trailer, going deep on Doctor Doom vs. Darkseid, the Victor Von Doom fan theories, and why nobody's mad Deadpool got left out of the trailer. From there it's Mike Tyson somehow not knowing Shohei Ohtani is a guy, the World Cup halftime show comparison to the Super Bowl, and an all-time debate over the best halftime performance ever.
Horry drops a story nobody knew about him — turns out he was actually a contestant on The Dating Game back in his playing days, and the behind-the-scenes details are wild. Then it's your questions: Caitlin Clark's record-breaking 45-point night and whether the WNBA needs an enforcer out there, the Florida grandma with the license plate that read a little differently than intended, and the ongoing mystery of people crawling in and out of the New York City sewer system with headlamps and shovels.

| Big Shot Bob – Ep 269 – The LeBron James Hostage Situation | 21 juil. 2026 | 00:59:20 | |
Episode 269 and we're sneaking up on the big 300 milestone. Robert Horry, Rob Jenner, and B-Dog get into it on everything going on around the league, starting with the LeBron James free agency saga that's now held the entire schedule hostage for three weeks running. The guys break down the shifting odds between Miami, Cleveland, and Philly, dig into why nobody thinks the Knicks have a shot, and Rob Horry gets personal about the "just make a decision" frustration versus understanding LeBron's family situation with his daughter.
From there it's a full free agency roundup — DeMar DeRozan possibly heading back to San Antonio, Draymond Green's future tied entirely to LeBron's decision, and the Lou Dort three-team trade that sent him to Atlanta while OKC stacked up draft picks. The Warriors' Summer League championship run gets its own segment, with the guys going deep on their new draft pick and why he might be the reason Draymond doesn't come back to Golden State.
Also on deck: an early 2026 rookie class debate, an Anthony Davis interview clip that gets Horry fired up about "40-plus wins," the ongoing Gary Trent Jr. cap circumvention investigation, and a Big Shot of the Week shoutout to a Kansas City police officer who tracked down a stolen e-bike for a cancer patient. Then things go completely off the rails with the Waffle House training video breakdown and a new round of Walmart or Waffle House.

| Big Shot Bob – Shoot Around Ep 140 – Bison Face | 17 juil. 2026 | 00:28:30 | |
It's a lighter one this week — just Robert Horry and Rob Jenners running through the leftover questions and stories that didn't fit into Wednesday's show. They kick things off with a Friday movie tangent (yes, the trilogy, not the day), then get into Conor McGregor's disastrous UFC comeback that ended in 69 seconds after he blew out his knee trying to fly-kick his way back into relevance.
From there it's a run of stories that had Horry and Jenners genuinely stumped: Senegal's World Cup medical staff reportedly included a gynecologist with no business treating a men's soccer team, and a 65-year-old grandfather at Yellowstone got launched nine feet in the air by a bison after a park ranger spooked it with a truck horn. That one turns into a full safari debate — which animals are actually the most dangerous, and Horry's very specific plan for surviving one (spoiler: it involves you, not him).
They also get into Carolina Hurricanes owner Tom Dundon engraving his wife and five kids onto the Stanley Cup ahead of the players and staff who actually won it, and close out with a listener question about Kristin Cavallari flying first class while her kids sit in coach. That turns into Horry breaking down his own family's travel rules, his stance on private jets, and the seat-booking trick he uses to keep the middle seat empty.
New episodes of the Big Shot Bob Podcast drop every Tuesday, and Shoot Around runs right behind it every Friday with the leftovers, the tangents, and the stuff that got cut for time. Subscribe and turn on notifications so you catch both.

| Big Shot Bob – Ep 268 – Take Me To My Grandmomma’s House | 15 juil. 2026 | 00:56:48 | |
Robert Horry, Rob Jenners, and B-Dog are coming off a Summer League week that didn't go the way anybody in Vegas planned, and they've got a full show sheet to prove it. They open by picking apart the Wizards shutting down rookie AJ Johnson, detour into an actual geography lesson about where you can find a Piggly Wiggly in Georgia, and Rob gets reminded that talking trash on this show always finds its way back to him — this time from Wizards fans after he named Washington his League Pass dark horse.
From there it's a real basketball conversation. Horry breaks down training his son Christian in the gym for the first time in two years, and the guys dig into Jonathan Kuminga's stalled free agency before getting into the biggest story of the summer: Victor Wembanyama turning down the supermax to keep his young Spurs core paid. Horry explains why that move says more about Wemby's character than any stat line could, and the three of them go back and forth on whether he could become the first basketball billionaire — just not off American endorsement deals.
The Bam Adebayo–Tyler Herro dust-up gets the full breakdown, including Tim Hardaway's comments about Heat culture and what it actually means to have your guy's back in a locker room. Then it's LeBron for the better part of twenty minutes — who's really leading the sweepstakes between Cleveland, Golden State, Philly, and Miami, why Draymond Green opting into free agency might be a tell, and how weird it is that people are treating LeBron's every move at Fanatics Fest like a decision-day clue. They close out the trade talk with where things stand on Kawhi Leonard, the ongoing NBA investigation, and why the Clippers front office has more explaining to do than Adam Silver let on.
Once the basketball talk wraps, Avery Woolery — an 11-year-old kid from Kentucky who jumped in a pool to save a drowning man when the adults around him didn't — gets this week's Big Shot. And then the guys close out with a wild round of Black Crime or White Crime, headlined by maybe the strangest arson story any of them have ever read on air.

It's a lighter Friday edition of the Shootaround, and Robert Horry and Rob Jenners are catching up on everything they didn't get to during the July 4th break. First up: the NBA's new one-free-throw rule getting tested at Summer League, and why Horry thinks turning two free throws into one is a solution looking for a problem.
From there it's a quick hit on the Jaguars' reported talks to relocate to London, a look at which current NBA stars have stuck with their teams the longest (Steph Curry leads the pack, with Draymond Green and Devin Booker not far behind), and a debate over whether any of them actually retire where they are.
Then things get silly: a listener sends in a Pacman Jones clip claiming South Carolina had a McDonald's inside the football locker room, which sends Horry and Jenners down a rabbit hole on mispronounced words, a viral video of a five-year-old Mets fan begging to switch to the Yankees, and the fan bases everybody loves to hate on but never actually leaves.
They close things out on a genuinely good note, answering a listener question about the coolest thing Horry's ever done for someone else — a story about giving up hospital privileges for other families with sick kids.

| Big Shot Bob – Ep 267 – Malibu’s Most Wanted | 07 juil. 2026 | 01:08:13 | |
It's been the wildest week of the NBA offseason, and Robert Horry, Rob Jenners, and B-Dog Brandon Harper have a lot to get through. The show kicks off with an argument nobody asked for — Rob's theory that every undersized, unathletic kid in America should just go play soccer — before the guys dig into the trade that broke Twitch: Jaylen Brown to the 76ers for Paul George and draft compensation.
They break down whether Boston's “JB and JT can't win a title together” reasoning holds up, debate how fast (or slow) Philly fans will actually embrace a guy who spent a decade calling them the enemy, and dig into what Paul George's fit looks like next to a Jayson Tatum-led Celtics squad.
From there it's a full lap around the Lakers, who added Luka Dončić, AR, and Walker Kessler to a roster that's got the internet cracking jokes about the “Mayo Mob” and “Live, Laugh, Lakers.” Horry and Harper get into the actual basketball case for the moves, what the Kessler trade cost L.A. in draft capital, and why Rui Hachimura bolted for the Clippers on a deal Horry thinks his agent should be fired over.
The back half covers the Wizards quietly stacking three former No. 1 picks, a Rich Paul clip that reignites the LeBron-to-Cleveland chatter, Donovan Mitchell's new max extension, and a run through free agency moves including Collin Sexton, Anfernee Simmons, and DeMar DeRozan hitting the open market. Pat McAfee gets Big Shout of the Week honors, and the guys close it out with a round of “History Repeating,” matching this year's NBA storylines to their 2018 twins.

| Big Shot Bob – Ep 266 – Hands Off Harper | 30 juin 2026 | 01:06:41 | |
The HUGE breaking news about LeBron James hits at the END of the show this week – so hang out until after the game for immediate reaction as it breaks!!
Seven-time NBA champion Robert Horry is joined by Rob Jenners and B-Dog Brandon Harper for an episode 266 packed with roster fallout from the start of free agency. The crew opens by digging into the Ja Morant trade to Portland, debating whether the Blazers’ backcourt logjam leaves Scoot Henderson on the outside looking in, before turning to the Grizzlies’ return and what comes next for both sides.
From there the guys work through a stacked Western Conference storyline: Draymond Green opting out and the running joke about a Warriors-LeBron pairing, the Lakers’ retention of Austin Reaves on a four-year max deal, DeAndre Ayton’s player option, and what it would actually take for the Lakers to chase Jalen Duren in restricted free agency. Horry and Harper go back and forth on whether DeAndre Ayton has been put in a position to succeed in LA, and whether San Antonio makes sense as a landing spot if the Lakers move on.
The conversation shifts to Charlotte sending LaMelo Ball to Minnesota, with the hosts debating whether that pairing with Anthony Edwards is really the best backcourt in the league or just the most entertaining one. They also touch on Golden State’s decision to move on from Jonathan Kuminga, a possible Kawhi Leonard return to Toronto, and where Jaylen Brown trade rumors actually stand.
A rundown of the week’s free agency moves follows — James Harden, Andrew Wiggins, Bradley Beal, Landry Shamet, Isaiah Hartenstein, Lu Dort, Julian Champagnie and Jose Alvarado all get a mention — before the show heads into Big Shout of the Week, honoring a school resource officer in Phoenix who paid out of pocket to take an entire class to the movies. The episode closes with a brand new trivia segment, Shams Is Reporting, and ends on a piece of breaking news about LeBron James’ future with the Lakers that catches the whole crew off guard.

| Big Shot Bob – Shoot Around Ep 138 – The Pope of Five-Town | 26 juin 2026 | 00:29:14 | |
It's Friday, which means Rob Jenners, Robert Horry, and B-Dog are back to clear the table on everything that didn't make it into Tuesday's show. Episode 138 of the Shoot Around goes hard on KD's revisionist history, the top NBA salaries heading into next season, and a rapid-fire rumor mill that covers LeBron, Ja Morant, the Knicks' title defense, and what San Antonio needs to stay dangerous.
First up: Kevin Durant went on a Barstool podcast this week and tried to explain why he left OKC for Golden State back in 2016 — claiming the Warriors were basically underdogs when he showed up. The guys are not buying it. At all. Rob runs through the receipts: 73-9, the 67-win season before that, the title, the back-to-back three-point records. Big Shot Bob's verdict? KD just be talking.
Then it's a quick trivia spin on the top 10 NBA salaries going into next year. Steph Curry sits at number one at $62.5 million — at 38 years old. The guys try to fill in the rest of the list: Jokic, Tatum, AD, Giannis, Embiid, Jaylen Brown, Devin Booker, KAT, and Jimmy Butler round it out. Luka, for the record, is not on it.
From there it's rumor mill time. Is Ja Morant actually movable, or does that $42 million contract scare everyone off? How long before LeBron makes a call — and does he go back to the Lakers, consider Cleveland, or is there an outside shot he links up with Giannis in Miami? The Knicks just won a title but James Dolan's already drawing a line at the second apron, which means Clarkson, Robinson, and Shamet are probably all walking. And San Antonio: what exactly do the Spurs spend their $44 million in cap space on to get back to where they were in the Finals?
Harp floats Dwight Howard as a San Antonio option. Rob closes his laptop. The show pretty much ends itself from there.

| Big Shot Bob – Ep 265 – Gotta Be Quicker Than That | 23 juin 2026 | 01:03:19 | |
The NBA decided not to wait. Before the 2026 draft even got underway, the league flipped on its head — and Rob Jenners, Robert Horry, and B-Dog are here to make sense of all of it on Episode 265 of the Big Shot Bob Podcast.
The big story: Giannis Antetokounmpo is headed to the Miami Heat. The guys break down the full package Milwaukee got back — Tyler Herro, Kyle Lowry, Jaime Jaquez Jr., three first-round picks including the 13th overall, and more — and debate whether Miami actually pulled off a heist or just handed Pat Riley a roster puzzle he has to solve before training camp. Seven-time champion Robert Horry has thoughts on all of it, including the part where the Heat now need to figure out a bench situation in a hurry.
Then there's Jaylen Brown. He was reportedly part of Boston's pitch to Milwaukee, and now that Giannis ended up somewhere else, what exactly do the Celtics have on their hands? The guys dig into whether that relationship can be repaired, whether JB's Twitch stream has become his de facto press conference, and what three years left on a big contract actually means when a player wants out.
Minnesota gets its own segment — and not in a good way. Julius Randle is gone to Brooklyn, Ant Man's frustration has been an open secret for a while, and the Timberwolves are burning through roster pieces faster than they're building anything. The guys ask the obvious question: what are you actually doing over there?
From there it's draft night preview mode — the consensus top four, what the Clippers might do at five, and Rob's take on what Atlanta should be targeting at pick eight. Plus Dusty Mays leaving Michigan (off a national title, no less) to take the Dallas head coaching job, Trae Young locking up a four-year deal in Washington, and what a healthy Trae-plus-AD situation could realistically mean for the Wizards.
The Knicks parade happened, and Rob has been to seven of these things. He ranks them. The crew also gives a well-deserved Big Shot of the Week to Simone Kelly, the off-duty EMT who revived an overdose victim during the celebration — and then had to fend off the guy she just saved.
They close it out with Shot Clock — Rob can't name more than one beer, Harp rattles off 11 Knicks in 10 seconds, and somebody names Phoenix as a state. It's that kind of show.

| Big Shot Bob – Shoot Around Ep 137 – God Bless the Beaver | 19 juin 2026 | 00:30:12 | |
It's Friday, which means it's Shoot Around time. Episode 137. Robert Horry, Rob Jenners, and B-Dog are back with the fan questions that didn't make the Tuesday show — plus some detours that definitely weren't on the agenda.
First up: a listener asks whether certain championships just mean more than others. Brian Windhorst sparked the debate on ESPN comparing the Knicks title to the LeBron-Cleveland moment in 2016. Robert's answer might surprise you — for him personally, the 2005 title in San Antonio hit harder than any of the Lakers runs, and he explains why. B-Dog makes the case for Kobe's first ring without Shaq, and Rob gets into what the 2021 Braves World Series meant to him working inside that organization.
Then there's the World Cup. It's in America right now, and a viral video of a French guy experiencing Buc-ee's for the first time is basically the greatest piece of content on the internet. The guys use it as a jumping off point: what does a foreigner absolutely have to experience in the US? Waffle House at 2 AM makes the list. Soul food does too. Atlanta gets discussed at length, and Jameis Winston cleaning up a stadium in Dallas with Japanese fans is just a genuinely wholesome moment.
A listener question about Rick Brunson's courtside moment with Jalen after the title turns into one of the more personal conversations on the show — all three guys share a memory with their dads. Robert's involves sneaking candy into Silver Streak and a hard foul from his pops during a pickup game. Rob talks about a rough stretch with his father that got repaired when his daughter was born. Worth a listen.
From there: household chores, the great grocery shopping debate, Trader Joe's vegan oatmeal cookies vs. Thin Mints, and a final fan question about the wildest thing anyone's ever seen at a live sporting event. Robert tells a story from a Lakers-SuperSonics game that Phil Jackson definitely remembers. And somewhere in there, a bird dies at a Braves spring training game.

| Big Shot Bob – Ep 264 – The Spurs Got Deebo’d | 16 juin 2026 | 01:00:56 | |
After 53 years, the New York Knicks are NBA champions. Robert Horry, Rob Jenner, and B-Dog Brandon Harper are back to break down one of the wildest finals in recent memory — a series where San Antonio led for 72% of the total minutes and somehow lost in five.
Robert talks about what needs to change for Wemby — specifically, the weight room — and what Dillon Harper's role should actually look like moving forward. Is De'Aaron Fox on the hot seat? He's got four years and over $200 million coming, so the Spurs better hope he's got short-term memory. And was this the Knicks winning, or the Spurs just losing it? The guys go back and forth on that one, and honest answer is... both.
From Jalen Brunson's place in Knicks history (Perk said greatest ever — the guys aren't buying it), to Karl-Anthony Towns FaceTiming Anthony Edwards after winning a ring, to the Knicks parade turning into a disaster with school buses on fire and 63 arrests — there's a lot to unpack from championship week in New York.
Also on the show: Draymond Green says European players are dirty, and Robert Horry has some thoughts on that. James Harden got pulled over at 4 AM with a handgun in his cup holder. The Bulls hired Tiago Splitter and Robert is thrilled it's not another guard. Big Shot of the Week goes to Amy Pye, a former Navy reservist from British Columbia who answered her door at 3 AM and saved a man's life. And the crew plays a special Championship Celebration Edition of Black Crime or White Crime — featuring naked Alabama fans, horse riders at Churchill Downs, and a guy swinging a metal flagpole at electrical wires.

| Big Shot Bob – Shoot Around Ep 136 – Evicted From Your Blanket Fort | 12 juin 2026 | 00:20:25 | |
It's Friday, so you know what that means — Shoot Around is back. Robert Horry, Rob Jenner, and B-Dog run through everything that didn't make Tuesday's show, and this week that list is pretty loaded.
First up: the NBA's new 3-2-1 draft lottery. Quentin asked about it, and fair enough — they never got to it on the main show. Rob breaks down how it works (the lottery expands from 14 to 16 teams, and the three worst records in the league actually get their odds PULLED back), and Robert gives his honest reaction: he doesn't hate it, but he's not ready to fully buy in until he sees it play out. The Indiana Pacers situation this year is a perfect example of why this stuff gets complicated fast.
Then things get heavier. Brendon Sorsby — the Texas Tech quarterback who bet on his own games at Indiana — caught a two-game suspension and a $5 million deal. The guys go deep on what kind of message that sends across every roster in college football. Not just to stars, but to walk-ons and scholarship guys who know everything about their team and are getting nothing out of NIL. It's a messy situation and Robert and Rob don't hold back.
After that, a palate cleanser: Tom Brady launched a new coconut water brand, and the name is... Good Nut. B-Dog's face said it all. If you're listening and not watching, do yourself a favor and pull up the YouTube just for that reaction.
A listener question for Robert — what's the most unfortunate thing that ever happened to you in a game? The José Canseco ball-off-the-head moment from Joe Adell inspired this one. Robert's answer might surprise you. (Spoiler: his shorts have a starring role.)
And to close it out, the blanket fort world record. A Nevada high school student built a 14,000+ square foot fort in Las Vegas, which somehow leads to a full childhood memory throwback session. Sliding down hills on cardboard, building clubhouses in the woods, and getting evicted from your own blanket fort by your grandfather. All of it.

| Big Shot Bob – Shoot Around Ep 135 – I Know a Pack of Kools When I Hear It | 05 juin 2026 | 00:20:42 | |
It's NBA Finals week, Game 2 is tonight, and the Shoot Around boys are doing exactly what they do on Fridays — talking about everything except the thing you'd expect them to talk about.
They kick things off with a listener correction from Twitter — turns out the Coach of the Year who got fired before the award came in was Dwayne Casey, not Lloyd Pierce (Rob was close). From there it's a full dive into the hero-to-villain arc: OKC went from everyone's favorite upstart to the team everyone wanted to see lose, almost overnight. Rob points to the Kansas City Chiefs as the gold standard of that flip — and SGA's habit of spending time on the floor didn't exactly help Oklahoma City's cause this year.
Then it's a two-part debate: who should retire and go to the broadcast desk, and who do you wish had kept playing? Russell Wilson heading to the CBS pregame show kicks things off, and the guys run through Draymond, Klay Thompson (Rob thinks he'd surprise people), Mike Trout, and Jameis Winston — who they both agree has a big bag waiting for him somewhere, whether it's Barstool or a network couch next to Shannon Sharpe and Gronk.
On the comeback side — Serena Williams is returning to play doubles at the HSBC Championships, which gets them talking about who they'd most want to see suit back up. Rob's answer: Pete Sampras. Casual greatness, no ego, just stroll in and handle business. Brandon picks Barry Sanders and Calvin Johnson — two guys who deserved so much better than what Detroit gave them.
And then the closer — the hot mic segment that was teased all week on Tuesday's show. LSU pitcher Devin Shearer gets warned by the umps, ESPN gets told to turn the field mics down, ESPN does not turn the field mics down. And then there's the Nebraska-Oklahoma State softball game, where an unidentified voice — still a mystery — delivered what might be the most unexpected phrase ever broadcast live on ESPN. Rob and Brandon's debate about who exactly says "ball sack" at a softball game is genuinely one of the funnier bits they've done.

| Big Shot Bob – Ep 262 – The Cleaning Lady’s Championship Ring | 02 juin 2026 | 00:53:50 | |
Big Shot Bob is LIVE from San Antonio for the NBA Finals, and this episode has that energy all the way through. Robert Horry, seven-time champion, is on-site for Podcast Row — flying in with Danny Green and Malika Andrews — and the boys waste no time getting into it.
They kick things off breaking down the Spurs' Game 7 win over OKC — and yes, Chet Holmgren gets the full treatment. Rob says Chet looked like a guy who had something going on off the court, comparing him to a boxer who famously broke down mid-fight. Zero field goal attempts in the second half on a team that needed him? Hard to defend. Meanwhile, San Antonio's Slash Brothers (Castle and Harper) and a 20-point Champagnie performance pushed them through to the Finals.
Then it's on to the NBA Finals preview — Spurs vs. Knicks. Rob and Brandon both lay out their cases for each team, get into what KAT has to do defensively against Wemby, why Castle turning the ball over could be fatal, and whether the Knicks' 11-game playoff win streak means anything against a team this different. Rob calls it: Spurs in six. Brandon hedges: Spurs in seven. They both agree — the Knicks' best shot is pace, pace, pace.
They also get into the Miles Garrett trade to the Rams, A.J. Brown heading back to the Patriots, Apple TV potentially coming after NFL rights, and Wembanyama's looming extension — a $251M base deal that could hit $301M with incentives. The Alamo jokes write themselves.
Big Shot of the Week goes to Arnett Johnson — a man who was unhoused in Miami and still stopped everything to help a lost six-year-old boy find his way home. Real one. And Rapid Fire is BACK, and somebody ends it at the buzzer on Captain Crunch. No spoilers on who.

| Big Shot Bob – Ep 261 – Like a White Girl in a Scary Movie | 27 mai 2026 | 00:55:56 | |
Robert Horry, Rob Jenners, and Brandon Harper break down everything that matters in the NBA right now — and a few things that don't. Big Shot Bob is hosting a baby shower and hiding from 50 women, so naturally it's the perfect time to talk basketball. We dig deep into the OKC Thunder vs San Antonio Spurs Western Conference Finals with Game 6 on the horizon. The Spurs have been in a fistfight but the young bulls keep letting emotion get in the way. Robert has firsthand thoughts on what Gregg Popovich's halftime speeches actually do to a team — and a legendary story about the one time Pop yelled at him. Spoiler: Robert laughed.
Wemby is the conversation. He joined Bill Walton as the only player in NBA history with 300 points, 150 rebounds, and 50 blocks in their first postseason. But is he doing enough? We debate whether he needs to go full Kobe — get on the block and tell everybody to get out of the way — and why his grace and his aggression can coexist. Over in the East, we put the Cleveland Cavaliers series loss to the Knicks through the shredder. James Harden's stat line across four games is... rough. The coaching staff takes heat. And Kenny Atkinson already confirmed he's coming back next season, plus there are rumors of a Harden extension that have us concerned for Cleveland's future.
The flopping debate is real. A San Antonio fan brought a mini Oscar for SGA. Jay Williams called it exhausting. Robert says put some defense back in the damn game and Adam Silver needs to call in some old heads to sort it out. Plus: All-NBA teams are set, Jalen Brunson takes home the Larry Bird Trophy, the All-Rookie team is announced, and a man in Ohio jumps into a pond to save a mother and daughter — your Big Shot of the Week. Then we run Conference Finals Chaos — a trivia game covering NBA history milestones from this postseason. Longest Finals drought, back-to-back champions, three-peat MVP winners, and more.

Big Shot Bob is back and he's got thoughts on everything — Kevin Durant's mounting reputation problem, a boxing night gone sideways, and the fight stories you didn't know you needed to hear.
This week on Shoot Around, Rob Jenners, Brandon Harper, and NBA legend Robert Horry break down the Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano Netflix disaster (17 seconds, folks), revisit the Mayweather-Pacquiao letdown, and get into whether KD is officially more trouble than he's worth — Colin Cowherd's "boat analogy" sets off a whole debate. Then it's athletes who threw it all away (Latrell Sprewell and Dennis Rodman get called out), Peyton Manning's diabolical trash talk strategy, and some genuinely unhinged public fight stories to close things out.
Plus: Horry on the worst smells he's ever encountered, Edwin Diaz and the cockfighting controversy, and Robert Horry quietly admitting he jumped on someone's bad knee and then stepped aside while they ran into a backboard. Just another week.

| Big Shot Bob – Ep 260 – No Cartilage In Their Knees | 20 mai 2026 | 01:10:00 | |
Robert Horry, Rob Jenners, and Brandon Harper are back for episode 260 of the Big Shot Bob Podcast — and they had to wait a day to drop it because the NBA couldn't stop cooking.
Victor Wembanyama dropped 41 points and 24 rebounds in a double-overtime thriller against OKC — including a pull-up three from basically the logo that had Robert Horry's jaw on the floor. The guys break down what it means for the West Finals, why Stephon Castle needs to cut the turnovers, and whether Alex Caruso was really the right guy to put on a 7-foot alien.
Then there's Cleveland. The Cavs had a 99.9% win probability with eight minutes left and handed it right back to Jalen Brunson and the Knicks. Robert Horry has strong feelings about James Harden, Kenny Atkinson's timeout usage, and what happens to Cleveland's chances if they don't wake Donovan Mitchell up.
Plus: Jason Kidd gets fired in Dallas, SGA wins back-to-back MVPs and showers the Thunder roster with AP watches and Burberry trench coats (Dream and Shaq could never), Shams Charania blows up Prime Video's big MVP moment, Anthony Edwards daps up the Spurs bench with eight minutes still on the clock, and Jamal Mosley lands a head coaching job faster than most guys find an apartment.
The crew also plays Championship Connection — a new game where Rob gives Robert Horry a championship team and finds out who he shared the floor with. The '96 Bulls, '03 Spurs, '04 Pistons and more come up. The answers will surprise you.

| Big Shot Bob – Shoot Around Ep 133 – The D In Front of Raymond | 15 mai 2026 | 00:20:54 | |
It's Friday, which means it's time for the bonus show. Episode 133 of Shoot Around kicks off with some genuinely surprising news — Alperen Sengun was voted the NBA's most overrated player by his own peers in The Athletic's annual poll. Seven-time champion Robert Horry weighs in on whether that reputation is fair, what Jeff Teague said about swag, and which players would actually top the overrated list if the guys had a vote.
Then it's straight into the Kevin Hart Roast — specifically the clips of Draymond Green catching shots from Tom Brady, Shane Gillis, Jeff Ross, and The Rock. The guys break down the best lines of the night and give Draymond his flowers for actually holding his own on the mic.
After that, a legendary clip courtesy of a listener: Vernon Maxwell on All The Smoke telling the full story of Hakeem Olajuwon slapping him in the locker room at halftime. Robert Horry was there for the Rockets at the time, so yeah — this one gets personal.
And then things take a turn. A Frontier Airlines plane struck a pedestrian who'd somehow made it onto the runway at Denver International Airport — and the guys react to the cockpit audio. From there, the show ends on a high note: the story of Jessica Holloway, the Tampa mom who set up a folding table at a U8 girls soccer game and started selling homemade wine to the other parents out of an Igloo cooler. Her menu included "Referee Tears" at $15 a jar. She was arrested. The guys are outraged on her behalf.

| Big Shot Bob – Ep 259 – Unemployment | 12 mai 2026 | 01:08:13 | |
Seven-time NBA champion Robert Horry, B-Dog Brandon Harper, and Rob Jenners break down everything happening in the 2025 playoffs — and there's a LOT to get into on Episode 259.
The Thunder are rolling. OKC swept the Lakers to go 8-0 in the playoffs so far, doing it without Jalen Williams and doing it in convincing fashion. Big Shot Bob gives his honest take on LA's future — including whether Austin Reaves deserves $250 million, what LeBron's exit interview really signals, and why the Lakers keep running into the same wall every spring.
Then the guys get into Victor Wembanyama's elbow on Naz Reid — Rob makes the case he should've been suspended, and breaks down exactly why the NBA's handling of it sets a bad precedent. Should the league have at least hit him with a fine? Everyone agrees on that one. We also dig into what NOT suspending Wemby says about how the NBA protects its stars, and whether that chips away at what's fair for everyone else on the floor.
In the East, the Knicks swept the Sixers out — 25 threes, a 30-point blowout, and Knicks fans completely taking over Philly's arena. The boys break down what that team is actually capable of, and size up whoever's coming out of the Pistons-Cavs series to face them. Spoiler: neither team looks ready.
Plus: the Washington Wizards win the draft lottery, Draymond takes a shot at Charles Barkley on Inside the NBA (and the guys have some thoughts on that), Steve Kerr's Warriors extension, Jaylen Brown's $50K fine for calling out Joel Embiid on Twitch, and the Big Shout of the Week goes to a 73-year-old music teacher from England who remortgaged his house to save his neighborhood pub.
We close it out with this week's game — All-Time Playoff Runs — testing Big Shot Bob on some of the best postseason win streaks in NBA history. Does he know the Warriors' 2017 run better than he thinks? Let's find out.

| Big Shot Bob – Shoot Around Ep 132 – The Real Meaning of Cinco de Mayo | 08 mai 2026 | 00:31:18 | |
It's a Friday, which means it's time for another Shoot Around — the show where we throw everything at the wall and see what sticks.
Big Shot Bob himself, Robert Horry, is back in the building for Episode 132, and this one goes all over the place. We kick things off reacting to Skip Bayless returning to First Take for a one-time reunion with Stephen A. Smith. Nobody asked for it, everybody's gonna watch it — including us. But it raises a fair question: are you tuning in because you actually enjoy them, or just because it's been so long that nostalgia has you by the throat?
From there we got into what TV reunions we'd actually want to see, which somehow turned into Rob getting volunteered — live, on the spot — to host a new version of NBA Inside Stuff with Ahmad Rashad's old job. He ran with it. Like, really ran with it. The man had co-host candidates locked and loaded (Cheryl Miller, Monica McNutt, and others get a mention), a vision for the show, and apparently more enthusiasm for a job he doesn't have than the one he does. Incredible.
Then things got weird. A United Airlines plane clipped a bakery truck on the Jersey Turnpike on approach to Newark — and we had the audio. That set off a whole conversation about terrifying aviation moments, NBA team charter planes, which franchises had the nicest setups (Dallas and Portland apparently had the goods), and the time Rob was sitting next to Butter Bean on a late-night flight when the guy in front of them went completely still and his wife lost her mind thinking he was dead. Spoiler: sleep paralysis.
A listener named Richie sent in a question after a wild JP Morgan story broke this week — a guy fabricated a sexual harassment case, it went everywhere before anyone fact-checked it, and the woman got dragged online for days before the truth came out. That opened the door for Rob to share a story he's apparently never told publicly: the time a woman he didn't even know filed a false harassment claim against him with the Lakers, complete with unsolicited fan mail that's... a lot. We won't spoil the details. But it ended with Rob's lawyer sorting it out after discovering the same woman had done it to three other people.
We wrapped up with a question from Vic about the Mandalorian movie dropping near May the 4th, Star Wars fatigue, and whether Marvel is stuck in the same trap — giving away so much for free on streaming that nobody wants to pay for the theatrical version anymore. Then, naturally, it was Cinco de Mayo (Taco Tuesday edition), which meant Rob had to explain a very chaotic night in Austell, Georgia, a sombrero, a man in a full Transformer outfit, and getting home at 3 AM. Friday energy. All the way through.

| Big Shot Bob – Ep 258 – Scoop B and Networking at the Red Wedding | 05 mai 2026 | 01:12:40 | |
Seven-time NBA champion Robert Horry and co-hosts Rob Jenners and Brandon Harper welcome CBS Sports and media personality Scoop B Robinson to episode 258 of the Big Shot Bob Podcast. The three dig into the second round of the 2025 NBA Playoffs — round-by-round breakdowns, trade intel, LeBron at 41, Ant Edwards off the bench, and a game of Walmart or Waffle House to close it out.
Scoop B comes in hot with insider knowledge on the Giannis trade market — including which teams are serious, which ones are bluffing, and why Portland might be more in the conversation than anyone wants to admit. Rob gives his honest PSA to LeBron James. And Harp asks whether Robert Horry's Rockets would've still won those championships even if MJ never went to play baseball. (Spoiler: Rob has no doubts.)
Plus: the Knicks embarrass the Hawks and the Sixers in back-to-back series, Ant Edwards earns a whole new level of respect by coming off the bench and letting a teammate cook, and the guys break down why Minnesota might be the most dangerous team left standing in the playoffs.

| Big Shot Bob – Shoot Around Ep 131 – Phil and I Never Had a Conversation | 01 mai 2026 | 00:31:16 | |
It's Friday and the Big Shot Bob crew is back with Episode 131 of Shoot Around — the weekly bonus show where Robert Horry, Rob Jenners, and B-Dog Brandon Harper dig into the questions YOU send in and whatever's on their minds.
This week kicks off with a debate born from the new Michael Jackson biopic hitting theaters: Start, Bench, Cut — MJ era edition. The Thriller era (1982–85), the Bad era (1987–89), and the Dangerous era (1991–94) are all on the table. Which era do you start? Which do you bench? Which do you cut? The guys break down their picks, argue over the greatest MJ music videos of all time (Smooth Criminal vs. Remember the Time), debate whether Chris Tucker was actually IN Smooth Criminal (he wasn't), and Harper goes deep on the Ghost mini-movie that almost nobody's seen. The verdict? Unanimous love for Thriller, but serious disagreement on whether Bad or Dangerous gets the bench.
Then the guys jump into the all-time greatest NBA coaches debate, sparked by Pat Riley making it clear at 81 years old that he has zero plans to retire or step aside. Phil Jackson, Pat Riley, Gregg Popovich, Don Nelson, Lenny Wilkins, Red Auerbach — who makes the cut? Robert Horry gives a unique firsthand perspective on Phil Jackson, including the detail that Phil literally never spoke to him during their championship runs together. There's also the Del Harris comparison — same roster, completely different results — and what that says about coaching being as much about managing personalities as drawing up plays.
A Reddit user's anti-tanking beer pricing proposal gets a quick airing, and then the crew weighs in on Diego Pavia going undrafted after representing himself at the NFL Draft — no agent, no deal. Robert Horry reflects on firing his own agent in 2001 and what he missed out on off the court despite winning six championships, and the guys debate whether being your own representative ever actually works when you're already fighting an uphill battle.
To close things out, a fan question about the best superhero shows ever made opens up a great conversation about Invincible (currently must-watch TV), The Boys, Smallville, The Flash, Dragon Ball Z, the upcoming Mortal Kombat film, and a He-Man movie trip that Robert Horry is already planning with his son. Plus — the case for a live-action Thundercats reboot that the world is clearly not ready for.

| Big Shot Bob – Ep 257 – That’s A Lot of Feed For Your Horses | 28 avr. 2026 | 01:11:33 | |
The NBA Playoffs are delivering chaos, history, and heartbreak — and Big Shot Bob Robert Horry, host Rob Jenners, and B-Dog Brandon Harper are breaking it ALL down on Episode 257 of the Big Shot Bob Podcast! The Orlando Magic are one win away from completing one of the most stunning upsets in NBA postseason history — knocking off the #1 seed Detroit Pistons as an 8-seed. What's gone wrong for Cade Cunningham and the Pistons, and can they save their season on home floor? Robert Horry knows something about coming back from 3-1 deficits — he lived it with the 1995 Houston Rockets.
The OKC Thunder close out the Phoenix Suns in a clean sweep, looking like the most complete team in the West. With SGA dropping 31 in the clincher and a bench that could start anywhere in the league, is anyone actually beating these guys? Then it's the Denver Nuggets fighting to stay alive against Minnesota — Joker posts a 27/16/12, Aaron Gordon goes OFF for 43 off the bench in Game 4, but the Timberwolves are healthy and hungry. Can Denver find a way? The guys debate coaching, defense, and whether the NBA owes us a Wemby vs. Jokic matchup.
In the East, the New York Knicks celebrate a Game 4 win with some famous Magic City Wings — and Lou Will has thoughts. Will Jalen Johnson step up for Atlanta in a hostile MSG environment? Robert Horry shares his perspective on why playing on the road was actually easier for him. In Philly, Joel Embiid returns from appendix surgery and the Sixers still get blown out by 32. Is it finally time for the 76ers to move on? And the Toronto Raptors have breathed life into their series against Cleveland — is Rob Jenners' "shaky branch" take looking more solid?
Plus — Victor Wembanyama goes down with a frightening fall in Game 2, misses Game 3, then comes back in Game 4 to put up a stat line only matched by Hakeem Olajuwon. His numbers? A real life category: 25+ points, 10+ rebounds, and 7+ blocks. At 22 years old. The guys close out with this year's NBA Award Winners — including the unanimous Defensive Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year, Most Improved Player, and the MVP race between Shay, Joker, and Wemby. And they play this week's trivia game: Off the Court — surprising hobbies and hidden talents of NBA legends, from Calvin Murphy's national championship to Karl Malone's CDL license.

| Big Shot Bob – Shoot Around Ep 130 – I’ve Got Five Beds | 24 avr. 2026 | 00:20:14 | |
Robert Horry (Big Shot Bob) is back for the Friday Shoot Around bonus episode, and he's got plenty to say about the NBA's end-of-season awards race! This week the MVP finalists are officially in — Nikola Jokic, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and Victor Wembanyama — and Big Shot Bob doesn't hesitate with his pick.
Plus, the crew debates whether Wembanyama could make history by winning both MVP and Defensive Player of the Year in the same season (something only Michael Jordan has done), breaks down the Six Man of the Year and Most Improved Player finalists, and questions whether the NBA's Clutch Player of the Year award even means anything.
Then it's quiz time: can Robert Horry and Harper correctly name the top 15 best-selling NBA jerseys of the 2025–26 season? Cooper Flagg already cracking the top 10 as a rookie? Stephen Curry still at #1?! And to close things out, a fan question sparks one of the best debates of the season — Tracy McGrady, Penny Hardaway, or Grant Hill: who had the highest ceiling barring injury? Robert Horry actually played against all three and his live, on-the-spot answer might surprise you.

Episode 255 of the Big Shot Bob Podcast features Robert Horry, Brandon Harper, and Rob Jenners reacting to the NBA play-ins and early playoff picture. Horry recommends the Jerry West documentary on Prime and shares his relationship with West, praising his candid leadership. The hosts break down Charlotte’s win over Miami and debate the controversial play involving Bam, arguing it should have been reviewed and likely upgraded to a flagrant, while also discussing why Charlotte is a fun team to watch.
They cover Portland’s play-in win, highlighting Jrue Holiday’s leadership and Portland’s defense, then preview upcoming matchups including Warriors–Clippers, Magic–76ers (with Joel Embiid out after appendix surgery), and give series picks for Lakers–Rockets, Nuggets–Timberwolves, Knicks–Hawks, and Cavaliers–Raptors. They discuss Doc Rivers being fired by Milwaukee and Giannis’ uncertain comments, name an Oklahoma principal who stopped a school shooter as Big Shot of the Week, and finish with a playoff-stats “Who’s Bigger” game.

| Big Shot Bob – Shoot Around Ep 129 – They Call It Tyreek Hill | 10 avr. 2026 | 00:22:23 | |
In this week’s Shoot Around Bonus Show, Episode 129, the hosts discuss a fan question sparked by a joke about trading Giannis Antetokounmpo, focusing on whether the Cleveland Cavaliers could realistically assemble a blockbuster package involving Evan Mobley, future assets, and possibly Jared Allen to create a short-term “super team” with Donovan Mitchell, James Harden, LeBron James, and Giannis—while noting the likely lack of depth and long-term flexibility.
They answer a question about Craig Sager, reacting to a Kevin Garnett clip roasting Sager’s suit and sharing Rob’s personal story of crossing paths with Sager through Sager’s wife and an old college connection, emphasizing how widely loved Sager (and Ernie Johnson) were around the NBA. The episode also covers personalized license plates (including Rob’s former “Seven Rings” plate), a humorous Zoom court clip where a judge catches a woman lying about driving, and a headline about cocaine traces found in sharks near the Bahamas, prompting a debate about the scariest animal to face on cocaine.

Robert Horry, Rob Jenners and Brandon Harper return for Episode 254 after missing a show because Horry was called by the NBA to fly last-minute to Tokyo as a replacement for LaMarcus Aldridge, followed by a military charity event in Phoenix; Horry also mentions meeting the creator of One Piece and receiving unreleased Lakers collab gear for his kids. They recap college hoops including UCLA women’s blowout of South Carolina, Michigan’s title run built via transfers, debate NIL money, portal movement, coach/player accountability, and discuss a Trump executive order proposal limiting transfers and eligibility.
The conversation shifts to the Lakers as Luka suffers a grade-2 left hamstring strain and AR an oblique strain, then covers standings, the 65-game awards rule, Giannis vs. the Bucks investigation, Jokic’s historic stat pace, WNBA’s Angel Reese trade to the Dream, anti-tanking lottery proposals, a “knockoff candies” game inspired by a stolen Kit Kat truck, and a Big Shot of the Week honoring Texas dads who bought a crossing guard a car.

Robert Horry and the crew open Friday’s shootaround with a discussion of LA Sparks star Kelsey Plum launching a verified AI “digital twin” for real-time conversations, and debate what it says about modern social interaction and who from history they’d want to talk to via AI (including Thurgood Marshall), while also questioning whether they’d want a digital version of a deceased parent.
They pivot to a listener question about whether Joel Embiid deserves slack for early-career missed seasons, noting he’s played 91 games since winning MVP and arguing games still count because he was paid. The episode shifts to “dumbest fight” stories sparked by a wild Florida pickleball dispute, including Horry’s bar argument over an autograph and a college brawl after a spilled beer, before ending on Afroman’s police-raid saga, his defamation-court win, and his response through diss tracks and a patriotic tuxedo.

Episode 253 of the Big Shot Bob Podcast with Robert Horry, Rob Jenners, and Brandon Harper opens with ongoing internet issues and jokes about Horry’s connection. They discuss the Lakers’ recent run, Luka’s historic scoring stretch, and a rescinded technical tied to trash talk, which leads into Draymond Green responding on his podcast after Horry referenced him as an example of players talking to refs without getting teched; the hosts debate whether Draymond took the example personally and consider inviting him on.
They cover Cade Cunningham’s collapsed lung and what it means for Detroit’s postseason hopes, recap March Madness upsets and viral moments (including High Point’s win and Kevin Willard’s “fire my staff” joke), note Kevin Durant passing Michael Jordan on the all-time scoring list, run through NBA standings and worst transactions rankings, mention OKC’s planned “Continental Coliseum,” highlight Jimmy Darts’ charity story, and play a “Fake News” headline game sparked by a bizarre cornhole-related crime story.

Robert Horry, Harper, and the host kick off a Friday “shoot around” bonus episode during March Madness, inviting listener questions via Big Shot Bob Pod socials. They share a personal connection through Greg “Free Beer” Daniels, a longtime radio host who also calls tournament games with Horry and uses a simplified on-air last name. The group then notes Steve Kerr winning an Oscar as an executive producer for the documentary short "All The Empty Rooms" and pivots to a discussion of the Warriors’ middling results since 2019, attributing decline to aging, injuries, roster changes, low draft picks, and shifting blame from coaches to talent.
Listener prompts lead into favorite movie fight/chase scenes (Matrix Reloaded, Daredevil hallway fight, Thanos vs. Hulk, John Wick, The Equalizer, Indiana Jones) and superhero video game ideas (X-Men/Cyclops, Gambit, Deadpool, Blade). They also debate ideal Oscars snack boxes and where they’d eat after a big win, referencing Michael B. Jordan going to In-N-Out, before joking about celebrity access and Horry’s humility.

Robert Horry, Brandon Harper, and Rob Jenners open Episode 252 with St. Patrick’s Day banter and a throwback to the viral “Alabama Leprechaun” news clip before previewing topics like the tournament, NBA expansion, and Wembanyama. They revisit the debate around Bam’s 83-point game versus Washington—discussing late fouling, free-throw volume, and how milestones compare to Kobe’s 81—plus Bam’s postgame shot at Dwyane Wade’s “no buzz” comment.
The show hits breaking NFL news about the Broncos trading for WR Jaylen Waddle, then shifts to Alabama’s Aiden Holloway arrest and NCAA tournament thoughts (including St. John’s, Duke injuries, Florida, and Arkansas). They discuss likely NBA expansion to Seattle and Vegas with potential conference realignment, Wembanyama’s MVP/DPOY ambitions, Luka’s late-game heroics with Austin Reaves’ surge, Atlanta’s 10-game win streak, and Joel Embiid reaching a 50/50 games-played milestone, before honoring a GoFundMe “Big Shot of the Week” and playing “Black Crime or White Crime.”

They debate Pat Beverley’s comments about players crying after games and Horry shares the one time he got emotional after a loss. The show also touches on Michael Jordan downplaying the GOAT debate, critiques a wild NBA outfit, discusses the World Baseball Classic and rooting for disliked rivals on Team USA, and closes with “damn, I’m old” moments like nagging injuries, vision changes, and daylight savings time.
