The use of Public Relations can provide invaluable benefits to businesses in the digital age. PR Crisis Management is a specialized field that is essential for businesses to anticipate potential crises, develop strategies to mitigate their effects, and respond quickly to any issues that arise. Ultimately, PR is an invaluable tool for businesses to build trust and credibility with their target audience. Episode Outline: (00:00:05) Public Relations Benefits (00:04:34) Pay to Play PR (00:08:31) PR and Media Placement (00:12:15) PR Crisis Management Quotes: (00:03:53) And so I tell my clients, it's what you do with your placement that matters. So maybe you get on GMA, maybe you get on CBS, Austin, whatever it is, you have got to put it in front of where your people or your potential clients are. (00:05:51) It really bothers me because I see people trying to brand themselves and put that out there, and they understand the power. But a lot of people, I can't even tell you how many high-level executives don't realize that they're being paid to play placement. They don't understand it. It's not real news. (00:11:50) Ultimately, what we try to do is help people understand their right pitch for the media and then go from there. (00:14:17) But again, we use it now to help people get their brand out there and their message out there, but protect them as much as possible, too. Notable Quotes [00:01:35] “My dad always said, work smarter, not harder. So after, you know, working hard for a while, I figured it's time to start working smarter and working on bigger ideas that take less stress on my body and take a bigger toll on my body, that allow me more free time to do what I like doing, which is connecting with people.” [00:02:07] “I've always had the entrepreneur mindset, but unfortunately, that did not really occur till about five years ago when I became an entrepreneur and opened my own company.” [00:04:06] “It's a little bit harder on the scope and also with just liabilities. I'd rather not put that liability on a company I'd rather like myself. I'd rather have it be with a larger entity.” [00:04:29] “A lot of people say that they want to be a business owner, but they don't want to go and open a bank account or they don't want to go and get their corporation to sit down with an attorney to have that corporate document set up.” [00:05:51] “Everyone wants to be a lion until it's time to do lion shit.” [00:08:59] If you don't know what you're doing right, ask someone. They'll tell you. And just take that advice for the grain of salt and then you'll figure it out.” Resources

Influencer marketing is something that I came across. It also kind of fuels a publishing strategy for me.” [00:03:52] “There are so many different tiers of influencer marketing. Everyone has influence. It's just being the right person with the right platform.” [00:05:28] People that have just achieved a 15 or £20 weight loss have way more influence than someone who's just kind of, you know, talking about your kids and talking about the dog and the weather and, you know, a little bit of fitness and health. [00:12:11] “Volume is important because you don't know what's going to hit. Once you find something that hits and that will be defined as whatever your objective is, generates followers, gets clicks.” Resources

It's arguing because I want to grow.” [00:02:31] “You have to take a side when you're a litigator. But in order to really develop your case and like to cross-examine someone properly or close, using a closing argument, you have to understand and anticipate what the other side is going to bring to the table.” [00:04:05] “If you want to be an exchange-listed firm, you need to pay the exchange to be listed.” [00:08:00] “So the guys that I was dealing with from the floor, they don't like to be. That's our signature question.” [00:07:19] “The interesting thing is that most people don't realize and not everyone's receptive to my opportunity in that world because it's a very seductive lifestyle.” [00:11:24] “There's nothing around us as far as we know, to our knowledge. You know, there's not, you know, the orange people on Venus in the red people on Mars.” [00:12:17] “I've found that when the individual passes, kind of like my story earlier and now with everything so virtual and online, you don't have to, you know, have to hand them a DVD.” [00:13:48] “But we seem to be in a time frame in American history where a lot of people want to blame everybody else for their place in society.” [00:14:11] “We're all born with a set of cards. You know, we're male or female. We're smarter, dumb or pretty or ugly, you know, or rich or poor, you know. And we all get this deck of cards and we come to Little Earth. And by and large, they're pretty static, you know, they don't really change much, but it's how you play the hand that changes how the cards unfold.” [00:15:11] “And what I like to always say is sometimes a man makes history and sometimes history makes a man.” Resources
