Since the beginning of the series, we’ve been wondering what the limit might be on what Fox Mulder is willing to believe (if the limit does indeed exist)… and in S3E11, “Revelations,” we have found it. Stigmata? Guardian angels?? A fiery-handed demon?! Sorry, Mulder’s filing cabinet is suddenly at capacity! Scully, however, finds herself Wanting To Believe as this episode barrels down a Catholic-adjacent path and she is forced to wonder if she has been chosen by a higher power to protect a young boy in danger.
