Tim goes to the gym with Doug but doesn't work out with Doug thus negating the fact that he was there with Doug at all. Like if you invited someone to the movies and they said sure and then went and watched a different movie. The first episode of Best Worst Friends starts off with some miscommunication. It sounds like Tim is one of those assholes who has a conversation on his phone in a cramped space where you can't hear the other half. Doug eventually realizes he should be recording and the podcast is born. The boys talk about a bunch of stuff like the theft of jazz, mysterious British accents, books we're reading and new bits they've got stewing on the brain stove.
