Coach Red Spikes, co-trainer to Terence Crawford, Steve Nelson and Keyshawn Davis and also part of the B&B Sports Academy, "Giving Youth a Fighting Chance" owned by BoMac and Terence Crawford chat with Cynthia and Jeandra for BWBSP.
Spikes talked about his start in boxing as a fighter, how he met Trainer of the Year Coach Brian "BoMac" McIntyre and became part of B&B Sports Academy, owned by BoMac & Terence Crawford in Omaha, Nebraska.
Coach Red is currently training Steven "So Cold" Nelson, who will be fighting undefeated super middleweight Diego Pacheco in a high stakes fight, Saturday, January 25 at The Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas and also live on DAZN. He talks about how he and the team rallied to get Nelson back in the ring after a long layoff due to an injury especially when he his career was in an upward trajectory. He also gives us an update on the possible Canelo vs. Crawford fight and who he wants Crawford to fight after Canelo, if that fight were to be made.
And, it was nice to see Coach Red talk about all the fun B & B Sports Academy all have, what does the gym do for the kids in the community and all the big things they have planned plus so much more.

Interim WBC Light Heavyweight champion David "The Mexican Monster" Benavidez sat down with Cynthia during his media workout. Benavidez is putting up his undefeated record against the undefeated Cuban sensation and WBA Regular Light Heavyweight Champion David Morrell. Benavidez and Morrell met of the first time in the ring during a very heated media workout in Miami. No love was shown between both Benavidez and Morrell as belts went flying across the ring and used their mouths to have a verbal match.
Benavidez says Morrell was nervous and not ready for a big tough fight against him. Plus, winner gets the winner of Beterbiev vs Bivol 2. He also wants to fight the best and move up and fight his friend, Zurdo Ramirez. Check it out!

"His Excellency" Turki Alalshikh put on the inaugural Ring Magazine Awards in London and had all the bells and whistles. It was boxing's "Oscars" and where everyone dressed in their beautiful tuxedos and the ladies were glammed in their gowns. Bohachuk will now be fighting British fighter Ishmael Davis (13-1, 6 KOs) on December 6th in a 12-round co-feature spot. Bohachuk talks about wanting a rematch with Vergil Ortiz Jr., in which he believes he won that fight, wanting the winner of Ortiz vs. Madrimov that goes down Feb. 22 on the Beterbiev vs. Bivol 2 card, would love to fight Jaron "Boots" Ennis and take on 2x undisputed world champion and P4P king Terence Crawford.
