Best Human – Details, episodes & analysis

A comic novel in weekly instalments, by Simon Donnelly. At four in the morning, Ken Hulme, a retired driving instructor in Frodsham, lets a stray border collie in through his back door, just till the morning. Six weeks of walks on the Sandstone Trail later, he discovers she has been listening to every word, and that she is not exactly from round here. Warm, very British and very funny, with the occasional bit that might make you cry in the middle of a laugh. Narrated by an AI voice.
