The Owl and the Bunny began life as a simple bedtime story that I dreamed up for my daughter many years ago.  Back then I never dreamed of trying to take it further! Then a few years back I was reminded of this heart warming tale of friendship and adventure by my 'no longer quite so little' daughter. I decided then that it should be developed and expanded upon for other little minds and the parents and carers that do the nightly bedtime routine.

That brings us up to present day. The story is still very much a work in progress and in its current state, it does not even have a recorded ending! But please don't let that put you off as there is more than enough content included for your enjoyment. The story sits at approximately 90% completion of it's first draft. During the creation process I have continued to upload the tale as it has grown and developed which I hope has given listeners an insight into just how these things unfold over time.

The next step following completion of the first draft will be to approach literary agents and book publishers. I have a great deal of belief in my work and although it will likely go through several iterations before the final version is finished, I remain focussed and confident that the story could be enjoyed by others. Whether publishers agree with that is another matter entirely but I'll cross that bridge when I get to it. For now though, I hope you enjoy this exciting tale of an unlikely friendship and the adventures they share.

The Owl and the Bunny is based off of a bedtime story I made up for my daughter when she was little. Back then it was a short ten minute tale but I decided to expand things all these years later and share it with anyone who might be interested.  At present the story is around 50% complete but there is more than enough content to help ease your little (and not so little) loved ones into a gentle sleep.

Find your comfy spot, turn down the lights and relax as I tell you a tale of an unlikely friendship and how any obstacle can be overcome no matter how large it may seem.
