What's Your Erotic Blueprint with Lea Newman17 Nov 202100:49:32

So what exactly is an Erotic Blueprint? And what does that say about us and our sex lives? Lea is here on todays podcast to tell us ALL. In fact, there are a lot of stereotypes about what provides a fulfilling sex life... Sex techniques are no guarantee of orgasmic bliss, and using the wrong technique or approach on the wrong person can create turn off, shutdown, and possibly even traumatic response. As a former high performance coach for Tony Robbins and Master trainer for The Erotic Blueprint™, Lea helps busy individuals overcome the cycles of overwhelm and exhaustion so that they can live lives ~dripping~ with pleasure.

On the show today we cover:

  • The 5 Erotic Blueprints!!
  • What living each Blueprint uniquely means
  • Arousal mapping
  • How we can live our lives filled with sexual satisfaction
  • Compatibility and chemistry with a partner
  • How we can authentically express ourselves in the bedroom
  • Ways we can begin to unstuck ourselves from half-lived lives
  • How to better speak our truths based on our Blueprints

Take the Erotic Blueprint Quiz and discover your type!

Getting back into the (dating) Scene: Quickie with Amanda Blair 15 Oct 202100:58:11

QUICKIES: A Modern Sex Column brought to you by Bedside. This week I’m thrilled to introduce a new and improved mini series to the podcast called Quickies. Featuring relationship and manifestation expert Amanda Blair! Each month, Amanda and I will join you in conversation where we merge our expertise and bring forward real life scenarios in the name of sex, love, and relationships. Expect tips and advice on how to navigate what we’re never really taught much about, musing on what we’re witnessing and experiencing within our own worlds of sex & love, manifestation, neuroscience, and more. On this month’s episode Amanda and I will be covering our thoughts on “Getting back into the Scene”.

!!ATTN: A lovely listener pointed out to us a correction on the topic of herpes that we discuss during this episode. HSV1 orally CAN  be passed genitally but it does NOT change to HSV2. It is just HSV1 genitally. So if someone with coldsore (HSV1), has oral sex, they can pass HSV1 to their genitals. But is doesn't become HSV2.

On the episode today we cover:

  • Getting back into the IRL world
  • Who we've become in the past year+
  • Re-entry into the dating world
  • How we can date more intentionally
  • Unpacking the old blueprint for dating
  • Disclosing health statuses
  • Our own experiences with STIs & disclosure
  • How to have better sexual health conversations

INTERVIEW: Today I’m excited to welcome Courtney Brame to the podcast. Courtney is the founder of Something Positive for Positive People,  a non-profit organization and podcast series on a mission to dissolve stigma, improve mental health, and promote minimization around sexually transmitted infections (STIs). Courtneys own journey began after getting a herpes diagnosis himself.  After feeling left in the dark with healthcare resources, he began talking to others online, and soon realized the ways in which STI diagnoses had effects on mental health. Courtney also shares how we can become better allies around stigma in general, and cultivate a better mindset around sexual, mental health, and the reality of STIs.

As a quick disclaimer, we do touch on the subject of suicide in this episode. If you are sensitive or triggered around this subject please skip through (14:00 - 19:30).
