This ep I speak from my heart about the current unconstitutional efforts to separate families and deport good people who came here to seek a better life and contribute to society. comin at ya on a sleepy autumnal woden's day eve delivering some thoughts and vibes about that thing we call *stress,* and how best to harness this dangerous but potentially beneficial steed. as a Taoist i have to engage meaningfully with all of Nature's offerings, and we can all agree that stress is a part of life whether we want it to be or not. i do believe that stress can provide a kind of nourishment if handled appropriately; it has to do with flexibility, adaptation, and continuous evolutionary momentum.

What's up to my husky hellbenders and pithy puss moths! Welcome back to the BNP and thank you for joining the pod!

This episode is a classic throwback hodgepodge ep friends. We got a little extra *zane* this week on the zany audio tidbits. What's up to my laudatory llamas and adamant alpacas! Welcome to the BNP and thank you for joining!

This episode I'm stoked to be joined by the dulcet British tones of Alexander McKay, host of Red Star Radio,  a podcast which presents a textured & humorous Marxist analysis of current events, economics, politics and history. To be clear, by "Marxist analysis" I mean Alexander makes sense of the buffeting and baffling tides of current cascading crises by analyzing them through the lens of class struggle, workers rights and the pressing need to cultivate broad working class solidarity. 

Recently Red Star has been putting out daily briefings which cover the unfolding situation in Ukraine, and using the daily balls and strikes of that conflict as a springboard to discuss history, theories and ideas relating to class struggle in the UK and internationally.

In this far ranging and fruitful discussion we dive into such juicy topics as: how does one communicate ideas of class struggle to the conservative portion of the working class without scaring them away, why do certain portions of the Left believe that any expansion of state power if good, even when that state is completely captured by and made to serve Capitalists, should we ditch the term "Communism," and what the hell happened to the Jeremy Corbyn project in the UK?

Geoengineering is way out in the open, and it's only due to a relentless (and highly suspicious) propaganda effort that so many people think of it as a "conspiracy." What's up to my fetching free-tailed bats and bloodthirsty bobtails! Welcome back to the BNP and thank you for joining!

It's a special Samhain/Halloween weekend Rager Raven edition of the pod. I had a wild and crazy couple days and have thus had limited time and *slightly* altered bandwidth with which to make the pod, however I did manage to compose a couple extra zany audio tidbits! Topics this week include a post-rave soliloquy recounting some of the realizations, epiphanies and spooky boundless mysteries which were conjured up while sitting around a fire all night with some fellow lovely like-minded  humans. 

New evidence from S. Africa suggests that archaic human beings  from the time of Homo erectus and Neanderthals have been sitting around fires together for at least 1 Million years. That is 500 circuits of 2000 years. Difficult to fathom that span of moons, but there's a reason your body's cells get activated by building and watching fire, especially alongside other hominids. 

Also included in this episode is a recent Yak Fest with fan favorite the inimitable Dr. Sylvie Salinger, where she shows me the tail end of a truly barfy clip of Stephen Colbert suckling Tony Fauci's wrinkled and befouled teats, and I react with visceral disgust and dismay. Sylvie then shows me a recent clip of Glenn Greenwald committing the mortal sin of going on Tucker to talk to half the country about American imperialism and the threat of nuclear war, and finally we have a nice tidy rant and rave about mass formation in the time of Covid and the sad state of the establishment narrative.

For the reading I share an interview with Robert Stinnett, a naval photographer in the Pacific Theater during WW2, where he speaks about his book Days of Deceit, which provides FOIA backed evidence that FDR, the FBI, and the Office of Naval Intelligence all knew the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor was coming, and allowed it to happen, in order to manufacture consent for an American entrance into the war. Yikes.
