Shaped by the marathon dance floors of early-2000s New York, Yonit channels the spirit of the city’s club era. Drawing from both nostalgic and contemporary sounds, she moves through groovy, melodic and rhythm-led territory, often landing somewhere between deep house, subtle tribal textures and emotional late-night moments. With a selector’s mindset and an open-ear approach, Yonit digs across styles and eras to create journeys that feel fluid, playful and free of rules. On this Balance Selections mix, the Brooklyn native showcases why she's one to watch. Featuring tracks from Danny Howells, Cinthie, Armen Miran and more, this is a tight, lush journey through contemporary deep house. @yonitmusic

The title track, ‘Hopefulness’, delivers everything required for a complete experience. A driving bassline surges forward with intent, underpinned by a warm, inviting percussion section. A bubbling melodic motif emerges in spectral form, hovering above like a star-filled cosmos, while icy synths slowly fade in to wrap the track in a hazy glow. All signs point toward a breakdown that lands with maximum impact.

Hailing from Egypt and shaped by a clear affinity for melodic and progressive house, Das Pharaoh has quickly developed into a project with genuine international traction. Releases on labels such as UV and Siona have delivered multiple chart successes, while wide-ranging support from selectors include Hernan Cattaneo to  Solomun points to broad dancefloor appeal. Beyond the studio, the act has expanded its profile through the ULF (Underground Live Forever) podcast with Paul Thomas, while performances at the Great Pyramids of Giza, Miami Music Week, Amsterdam Dance Event and dates across Europe, Asia and North Africa underline a steadily widening reach. On this Balance Selections mix, the Egypt-born artist showcases a sound that also acts as a snapshot of UV, the label closely tied to his career. Featuring tracks from Patch Park, Alex O'Rion and Paul Arcane, this two hour mix highlights what is so fresh about our scene. @daspharaohofficial Tracklisting & interview: https://balancemusic.com.au/balance-selections-366-das-pharaoh ------------------------------------- Follow: Instagram: www.instagram.com/balance_series Facebook: www.facebook.com/balanceseriesmusic Youtube: www.youtube.com/@balancemusicofficial

The energy shifts with ‘Forever Mover’, an impressive and dynamic dancefloor cut. Its first half leans into deep, rolling grooves, building momentum with precision. The introduction of top-line keys in the breakdown then elevates the track into full main room territory, ensuring a lasting impression.

Nicolás Ruiz emerged from Argentina’s Misiones province with a sound shaped as much by local grounding as global ambition. Releases on Renaissance, Hope Recordings and Plattenbank have placed him firmly within the progressive continuum, with support from figures like Hernán Cattaneo and Nick Warren reinforcing his steady ascent. Having shared booths with names from John Digweed to Guy J, and appearances spanning from Zurich’s Street Parade to key European showcases, Ruiz continues to refine a craft that sits comfortably between dancefloor functionality and melodic depth. On this Balance Selections mix he continues that fine form. Featuring tracks from Kasper Koman, Maze28, Juan Deminicis and more, this is two hours of well-crafted dance music. @nicolasruiz Tracklisting & interview: https://balancemusic.com.au/balance-selections-365-nicolas-ruiz ------------------------------------- Follow: Instagram: www.instagram.com/balance_series Facebook: www.facebook.com/balanceseriesmusic Youtube: www.youtube.com/@balancemusicofficial

Few artists can claim to have shaped the very birth of dance music while continuing to drive its evolution over three decades. Sentre, the duo of Dave Gardner and Dennis White, are long-standing industry figures, known for their studio craf. With a history of collaborations alongside Sasha, including contributions to his seminal Involver album series, Sentre have built a reputation as refined producers with a detailed, emotive approach to sound design. In 2025, they returned to Last Night On Earth label with This Feeling, a collaboration with Of Norway. The release showcased their signature style: luminous melodies, celestial energy, and subtle vocal elements.

On this Balance Selections mix, their penchant for interesting dance music is on full display. Featuring tracks from Tim Paris, Laurent Garnier and Zombies In Miami, this one hour mix is a fun ride through loose and rolling house. @sentre_music Tracklisting & interview: https://balancemusic.com.au/balance-selections-363-sentre/ ------------------------------------- Follow: Instagram: www.instagram.com/balance_series Facebook: www.facebook.com/balanceseriesmusic Youtube: www.youtube.com/@balancemusicofficial

On ‘You Are Sweet’, Julian Millian teams with Olaya for a darker turn. Synthetic textures circle austere drums as acid-laced synths gradually rise through the mix. The tension builds steadily before releasing in a dramatic breakdown and full-throttle drop. @fernando-olaya

Kamilo Sanclemente joins Olaya on ‘Renascence’, a Latin-flavoured outing that’s difficult to ignore. Sparkling keys and warm synths combine into a swooning melodic line, while a constantly shifting bassline keeps the track buoyant. Midway through, elegant strings lift the arrangement into something celebratory, a reminder of why progressive house continues to resonate on dancefloors worldwide. @fernando-olaya @kamilosanclemente

Giovanny Aparicio links with Olaya for ‘Eternal Grace’. Driving low-end and crisp drums form the backbone while a graceful melodic figure drifts in and out of view. The arrival of orchestral strings adds an emotional dimension, turning what could have been a straightforward club tool into something more reflective. @fernando-olaya @dj-giovanny-aparicio

‘We Were Never Lost’ opens as a delightful slice of vintage prog. A thick, enveloping bassline anchors the track, providing a reassuring familiarity. A ghostly vocal drifts across the groove while a melody slowly takes shape in the background, swelling through the breakdown before resolving in a euphoric main-room drop. @fernando-olaya

Her productions and remixes have found a home on labels include Mango Alley to Musique de Lune Noir, with further releases on the horizon. No one does driving, percussive prog better than Jamie Stevens. His remix channels the original’s galactic charge into a gamma-ray burst of propulsion and pressure. A hyperbolic funk bassline drives the engine, while the core motifs of Yggdrasil are stretched and re-energised, the mythic flow sharpened into something built for peak-time momentum rather than cosmic drift. This is energy refined into pure alchemy.

For more than 15 years, Of Norway has been the joint project of Vegard “Lil’ Wolf” Dyvik and Christian Steenstrup. Emerging from Oslo’s fertile underground, the duo have developed a sound that sits somewhere between house, electro, techno and dub, often coloured by darker textures and leftfield influences. Their productions move comfortably between warm, hypnotic grooves and colder, more atmospheric terrain, drawing on everything from disco and electro to industrial and experimental sounds. Their most recent release on Last Night On Earth alongside Sentre, encapsulates their sound: fun, care-free dance music that never takes itself too serious. That ability to produce a variegated sound has seen their music picked up by DJs across a wide spectrum, with support from Dixon to Sasha to Timo Maas and more. On this Balance Selections mix, the duo stay true to form with a playful one-hour session. Featuring tracks from Eden Burns, Mark Henning, Tata Box Inhibitors and more, the mix connects classic and contemporary cuts with an ease that never feels forced. @of-norway Tracklisting & interview: balancemusic.com.au/balance-selections-360-of-norway ------------------------------------- Follow: Instagram: www.instagram.com/balance_series Facebook: www.facebook.com/balanceseriesmusic Youtube: www.youtube.com/@balancemusicofficial

Amhain’s Ambient Breaks mix lives up to its billing. Weaving the plucked string from the original, Amhain allows the melodic motif to breathe, stretching its emotional arc into a slow-moving, immersive space where atmosphere takes precedence over momentum. Soft-pedalled breaks instil a sense of comfort that never tips into inertia. Perfect for moments that call for blissful integration.

Founder of Timeless Moment, Morttagua operates at the intersection of progressive house and techno. A fixture of Brazil’s electronic music scene, he is the country’s all-time best-selling progressive house artist on Beatport and has toured widely, appearing at festivals such as Kappa FuturFestival and Rock in Rio, alongside venues including Green Valley and Pacha. His body of work is shaped by atmosphere, melody, and long-form structure. His 2024 release on Balance Music, Bwell, reflects that approach. A measured and restrained cut, it favours mood and melodic progression over immediacy.

On this Balance Selections mix, Morttagua delivers a focused two-hour set that showcase his experience. Featuring music from Pryda, Andre Sobota, and Mike Griego. It’s a main-room journey that remains controlled and understated throughout. @morttagua Tracklist: https://balancemusic.com.au/balance-selections-350-morttagua/ ------------------------------------- Follow: Instagram: www.instagram.com/balance_series Facebook: www.facebook.com/balanceseriesmusic Youtube: www.youtube.com/@balancemusicofficial

BLANCAh is a Brazilian DJ, producer and multidisciplinary artist whose work has become a defining force in South American electronic music. With more than twenty years of experience, three albums and international performances, her sound blends harmonic detail and emotional depth.

In June 2025 she released Music For When The World is Silent, a personal, concept-driven third album shaped by a period of post-pandemic quiet and uncertainty. The 12-track project, featuring Mari-Anna and Eleonora, arrived on her label Hiato Music and will expand in January with the release of more remixes. On this Balance Selections mix, BLANCAh showcases her progressive credentials, weaving tracks from James Harcourt, D-Nox & Beckers, Guy J and others into an emotive journey tinged with psychedelic flourishes and built with precision. @blancah

His profile continues to rise, with appearances across the UK and abroad, a residency at Glasgow’s Skyline, and a growing run of support and headline slots.

Drawing equally from classic progressive and modern melodic house, Barwood delivers a sound that sits naturally within the Balance Croatia 2026 lineup.

In 2006, when the borders of progressive house were starting to blur and music started melting into the digital sphere, Balance 010 arrived with almost monastic ambition. Disc 2 is the heart of Balance 010, the warm midtempo arc that gives the entire three-disc structure its emotional weight. It rises slowly from ambient drift into soft breakbeats, glides through Cocteau Twins shimmer and Speedy J tension, and lands in that hypnotic space where Boards of Canada, Ellen Allien, Aphex Twin and Underworld all feel like parts of the same world. Critics consistently pointed to this disc as the most replayable, the most cinematic, the place where Jimmy’s instinct for mood and narrative became unmistakable. It moves without forcing momentum, deepens without darkening, and closes on a fourteen-minute Underworld remix that turns the whole project into a pilgrimage. If Balance 10 has a centre of gravity, Disc 2 is it. CD2: Downtempo Mix 1. Miles Tilmann – Floating Windows 2. Miles Tilmann – Minutes 3. Steve T. – How Are You 4. Cocteau Twins – Blue Bell Knoll 5. Speedy J – Oil Zone 6. Adam Johnson – Kriegspiel 7. Adam Johnson – Version 2 8. Ellen Allien & Apparat – Bubbles 9. Boards of Canada – Skyliner 10. Peter Benisch – Desert White (Joel Mull Mix) 11. Babel – X-Equals 12. Aphex Twin – Delphium 13. Brandi Ifgray – Mono 14. I:Cube – Cash Conv. 15. LCD Soundsystem – Too Much Love (Rub-N-Tug Mix) 16. Saint Etienne – Cool Kids of Death (Underworld Remix)

Dowden works in gradients: tension, release, shadow, light. His productions move with a pulse, shifting from late-night progressive to deep, melodic passages. It is all very patient, an air of space and emotional detail that settles in slowly. What emerges is a signature atmosphere that is immersive and charged.

Across two hours of shifting progressive tones, the mix offers a clear snapshot of how strong the global landscape has become.
