Isa sa naging rationale namin ni Ate Cas sa Backlog Na Naman! Budolcast ay ang pagkakaroon ng mga blindspots. Bilang nakatira sa 3rd world country tulad ng Pilipinas, videogames are truly a luxury, a luxury that not everyone had the privilege of enjoying to the fullest. Ika nga ni mama noon: "May Family Computer na tayo, bakit kailangan mo pa ng Playstation???" Syempre tipid. Kaya andami sa ating mga Batang 90s na trentahin (or minsan kwurentahin) na, nauso ang katagang "healing the inner child". At dahil nasa healing the inner child tayo, nagagandahan pa din tayo sa mga games na never nating nalaro sa mga lumang platforms like PS3, PS2, PS1, or even sa mga Nintendo platforms na never nauso sa atin tulad ng N64, GameCube, Wii/WiiU. Kaya minsan pag may mga modern re-releases/remasters ng mga games, grabe ang tuwa kapag na-aannounce sa mga State of Play o Nintendo Direct. Pwedeng wala tayo sa current hype nung unang announcement ng mga games na to, pero never too late ma-hype ulit sa mga games na never natin nalaro pero magkakaroon na tayo ng chance malaro.

For the longest time, hindi nababanggit or napag-uusapan ang Legend of Heroes: Trails games. Kapag tinanong mo ang isang average na gamer kung ano ang Trails, no idea talaga sila. or kung may idea man, narinig na nila somewhere pero di nila nilaro or sinubukan. Kaya nang malaro ko siya, shet ang ganda pala nito ah. Kaya nung ma announce ang remake nito this year, sobrang tuwa ko na naging bahagi na din siya ng conversation ng mga gamers and content creators/podcasters alike, thinking na "Ahh Finally! Mailalagay na din siya mapa ng upper echelons of JRPGs!" Pero sa kasamaang palad, wala pa din siya nomination sa TGA, let alone a single award, kahit ang taas ng metacritic scores nya. Kaya feel ko need ko pa din ipagpatuloy ang pag spread ng good word ng Trails games.

Hindi na ito bago para sa mga kilala na kami ni Ate Cas sa community pero just last year, bumalik kami sa Playstation Ecosystem upon our purchase of our Playstation 5. Sa madaling salita, blind spots namin ang PS2, PS3 at pati PS4 era. Siguro hindi masyado blind sa PS4, since ang ibang games, na experience namin sa Switch o sa PC.

What does it feel like to be one who skipped several generations of Playstation tapos babalik with so many rather unfamiliar things like PS plus, Trophy hunting, Graphics vs. Performance debate, and the like? We all know na noong PS1 era, wala pa ang mga bagay na to. Life was simple back then, tamang sakpak lang ng bala sa Playstation mo, laro agad.
