How to Navigate a Difficult Ayahuasca Ceremony with Satya Linda Grace09 sept. 202601:05:36

How do you manage a very difficult Ayahuasca ceremony? How do you find your way through a ceremony when you feel overwhelmed, frightened, or lost? And when the ceremony ends, how do you begin to integrate an experience you may still be struggling to understand?

What can you turn towards when the experience feels beyond your capacity?

Perhaps you went into ceremony with a prayer, an intention, and a willingness to meet yourself. But what happened was difficult to stay with. You may have felt afraid of what you were experiencing, uncertain about what was happening, or unable to find your way back to a sense of safety.

And afterwards, perhaps you were left wondering: What do I do with this? How do I speak about something I cannot fully explain? Where do I begin when I don't even know what happened to me?

These are the questions we're making space for in this episode.

I'm joined by Satya Linda Grace, one of my dear mentors and friends on the Ayahuasca path, for an honest conversation about our own difficult ceremonies and the practices we turn towards, both in ceremony and in the days and weeks afterwards.

We explore what it means to meet a difficult experience while being honest about your limits. How do you relate to the fear that comes up? How do you communicate that you need help? And what does support look like when you feel too overwhelmed to know what to ask for?

We also share:

  1. The violet flame of protection: Satya's spiritual practice and my personal experience of working with it in ceremony.
  2. Returning to your breath, your body, and your prayer when the experience feels overwhelming.
  3. Asking to be held and allowing yourself to receive support.
  4. The importance of knowing your facilitators and feeling connected to the people beside you.
  5. Making room for rest, quiet, and integration without forcing the experience to make sense.
  6. Naming what you experienced without judging yourself or turning it into your identity.
  7. Working with your journal and choosing which parts of the experience need your attention first.

We also speak about the questions that can follow a difficult ceremony: Did I fail? Is something wrong with me? Why did someone else experience bliss while I was moving through fear or shame?

There needs to be room to speak honestly about what remains unresolved, alongside the beauty and the love.

5 Ayahuasca Integration Practices to Stay Connected After Ceremony.03 sept. 202600:44:28

DOWNLOAD THE FREE MUSIC, MEDITATION AND PRAYER GUIDE HERE: https://www.ayahuascaintegration.org/five-practices

Are you struggling to stay connected to the divine experience you touched during Ayahuasca?

Maybe it has been one week or one year since you last met the grandmother. Perhaps you are carrying dense energy you cannot move, purge, or even name. Or maybe it feels like grief: your frequency has fallen from the highest connection you have ever known into an old familiar low.

In this episode, I share five simple practices for restoring that connection to your own highest frequency of bliss, love, and flow, while remaining connected to Ayahuasca and the spiritual dimension.

These practices can help you continue the work without constantly returning to ceremony. They create greater capacity to hold the light and release the energies that have completed their dance with you.

THE FIVE PRACTICES:

  1. ANANDA MANDALA MEDITATION
The most potent meditation I have found during ten years on this path. I share how it helped me release the chains of my old life, calm my nervous system, move dense energy, and experience profound spiritual states without medicine.
  2. MEDICINE MUSIC
Begin your morning with sacred songs that reconnect you to the plants, the ceremony, your body, and the medicine community. You will also receive our retreat Spotify playlist featuring songs we sing and share at Terrapacha.
  3. THE FIVE-POINTED PRAYER
A prayer built around five movements: Thank, Release, Receive, Reclaim, and Remember. Prayer becomes the bridge between everything you cannot fix or understand and the divine intelligence available to help you.
  4. PROTECT AND HOLD THE ENERGY
After ceremony, many of us unconsciously pull ourselves back into the suffering that feels familiar. I share how I used to destroy my connection within days, and why learning to hold love, light, and sexual energy is part of real integration.
  5. RETURN TO YOUR JOURNAL
Your journal is not a souvenir from ceremony. It is a living connection to your own grace, courage, and wisdom. Return to it daily and witness how the threads of ceremony are being woven into your life.

Ceremony opens the connection. Practice teaches your body how to hold it.

Download the free practice kit, guided meditation, and medicine playlist through the links in this episode description.

12 Dangers of Ayahuasca Without Integration26 aoƻt 202600:59:51

What happens when you drink a lot of Ayahuasca but never integrate what you receive? Today we dive into the dangers everyone on this path should be aware of, and the 12 questions you should ask yourself after an Ayahuasca ceremony, before you dive into the next.

Download the free questionnaire for this episode here: https://ayahuascaintegration.org/guides/12-dangers-of-ayahuasca-without-integration

Ayahuasca can open your consciousness incredibly quickly. But your capacity to embody what you receive may develop much more slowly.

And that gap can become dangerous.

You can accumulate profound insights without taking responsibility for them. Your spiritual identity can expand while your body, relationships and practical life become increasingly ungrounded. Sensitivity can grow without discernment. Intuition can become mixed with fear. Spiritual experiences can feed the ego instead of humbling it. You can become isolated from people who no longer understand your world, increasingly dependent on ceremony for answers, or overwhelmed by everything you have opened but never fully processed.

You can know more and more about yourself while becoming less capable of actually living what you know.

And eventually, another ceremony can become easier than integrating the last one.

In this episode, we look at what can happen when consciousness expands faster than your ability to integrate it, and the 12 areas you should examine before asking Ayahuasca, another medicine, or another spiritual experience to show you something new.

Ayahuasca and the Wounds That Still Control You: The Forgiveness Process 22 aoƻt 202601:06:10

Trigger warning: This episode includes personal stories of childhood abuse and murder.

Download the free companion workbook for this episode here: https://ayahuascaintegration.org/guides/wounds-that-still-control-you

What if the person who hurt you is gone from your life, but still has access to your consciousness?

What if the event ended twenty years ago, but one memory can still pull you into anger, resentment, shame or hours of rumination?

And what if healing is not about endlessly revisiting the wound, but learning when the wound has already taught you what you came here to learn?

In this deeply personal episode, I explore the wounds that continue to control us after ayahuasca, and the difference between processing trauma and becoming possessed by the emotional pattern around it.

I share my own journey with my biological mother, childhood abuse, rage, grief, betrayal and the long road toward acceptance. I also explore something I began noticing while living at an ayahuasca retreat: when one old wound stopped dominating my mind, another story would often take its place.

Different person. Different situation. Same energetic signature.

This episode asks a different question from ā€œHow do I forgive?ā€

What still has power over my consciousness?

We explore how old wounds become maps for the way we interpret relationships, why attention can keep reinforcing the very emotional states we want to leave, how to recognize when you are back inside an old trauma trance, and why forgiveness should never be used to bypass anger, grief, truth or accountability.

I also share the forgiveness framework I now use in my own integration work:

Face what actually happened.
Find the meaning you created around it.
Feel the emotion beneath the story.
Accept the reality that cannot be changed.
Reclaim what still belongs to you.
Allow forgiveness to blossom when it is ready.
Let grace become the completion of what no longer needs to repeat.

For me, forgiveness is not the seed. It is the flower.

It does not mean saying the abuse was acceptable. It does not mean reopening the relationship. It does not mean abandoning boundaries. It means reaching a place where another person’s darkness no longer determines the frequency from which you live.

At the end of the episode, I share a song that came through while walking this process myself.

You can also download the accompanying workbook, created to help you explore this process in your own integration.

After Ayahuasca: Choosing What To Integrate - The Tree of Integration17 aoƻt 202600:45:08

FREE WORKBOOK ACCOMPANYING THIS EPISODE https://ayahuascaintegration.org/guides/tree-of-integration-workbook

Your ceremony may reveal many truths. Your life may only have space to live one of them right now.

Which insight is ready to become real in how you live?

Which one is simply the loudest?

And what can be preserved without being forced into action?

In this episode, David Vox introduces the Tree of Integration, a seven-part framework for moving from an Ayahuasca ceremony into grounded, lived transformation.

This episode is for anyone who has returned from ceremony carrying visions, emotions, teachings, memories, and possible directions, but does not know what to focus on first.

Instead of changing your entire life around one experience or allowing the ceremony to become a distant memory, the Tree of Integration helps you distill what you received and identify the one truth you have the trust, space, and capacity to embody now.

THE SEVEN-PART TREE OF INTEGRATION PROCESS:

  1. RAIN OF REMEMBRANCE Capture everything you received before interpreting or acting on it.
  2. SOIL AND THEME Identify the territory, atmosphere, or central theme that became open.
  3. ROOTS AND TRUST Meet the emotional, subconscious, bodily, ancestral, symbolic, or spiritual material beneath the surface.
  4. TRUNK AND TRUTH Recognize the new reference points you experienced and the deeper truths they revealed.
  5. BRANCHES AND TRANSFORMATION Choose one area of your life where one truth can begin to take form.
  6. FRUIT AND TRANSCENDENCE Notice what becomes possible as your consciousness blossoms beyond the old pattern.
  7. SEED AND CONTINUATION Preserve the remaining truths without pressuring yourself to integrate everything now.

You do not integrate an Ayahuasca experience by explaining every vision. You integrate it by allowing what was true in the ceremony room to become real in the way you live.

By the end of this episode, you will have a practical way to organize what you received, choose what is ready to be cultivated, and protect what needs another season.

Ayahuasca Chooses You. Integration Changes You.09 aoƻt 202601:14:23

What if transforming your karma is not about suffering your way through it?

What if it happens when you step fully into your dharma, into the life that makes you happiest, most purposeful, and most alive?

Today, we have the honor of meeting Yerumael, whose path with Ayahuasca began through a sequence of events she could never have planned.

After leaving a successful career in Swiss banking, she moved to London and entered the worlds of music, yoga, nutrition, and spiritual practice before eventually encountering Ayahuasca. Then, a stranger contacted her through Facebook and told her that he had seen her during a ceremony and believed she was meant to study with him.

Six months later, she was in the Peruvian jungle.

What followed were years of traditional dietas, apprenticeship, intense personal initiation, and eventually guiding others and serving the medicine. Yerumael spent 17 years working with Ayahuasca. Yet after almost two decades, the medicine’s deepest teaching was not that she needed another ceremony.

It was that she needed to stop.

For Yerumael, this was not a rejection of Ayahuasca. It was the recognition that Ayahuasca was never meant to become the final destination. At some point, the search for healing can become another identity. Another ceremony can become a way of postponing the changes that the previous ceremony already asked us to make.

The visions may be extraordinary, but the real test begins when you return home. Can you remain present with your child? Can you communicate differently with your partner? Can you translate what you were shown into choices that genuinely change the way you live?

This conversation explores what happens when Ayahuasca stops being the center of the path and life itself becomes the ceremony.

In this episode, we explore:

• How an unexpected Facebook message led Yerumael from London to an apprenticeship in Peru
• What 17 years of ceremonies, dietas, and service taught her about the real purpose of Ayahuasca
• Why being ā€œchosenā€ by the medicine is an initiation, not a guarantee of transformation
• Why seeking ceremony after ceremony can become another form of avoidance
• Why Yerumael considers integration to be 90% of the work
• How to translate visions and revelations into one clear change you can actually live
• Why trying to integrate 50 insights at once can prevent any of them from taking root
• Why facilitators carry a responsibility to support participants after the ceremony ends
• How karma and dharma relate to purpose, pleasure, responsibility, and service
• Why living your dharma may transform your relationship with suffering
• When healing stops being the purpose of your life and living finally begins

Receive the Love You Already Have: A Ritual of Self-Celebration21 juil. 202600:32:55

Do you know how to give, serve, and support others, but struggle to fully receive?

In this episode, we enter the medicine of self-celebration and explore how to expand our capacity to receive the love, beauty, support, recognition, and goodness already present in our lives.

Download the free workbook and begin the 7-Day Celebration Experience that accompanies this episode:

We dive into one of the most powerful rituals I have ever witnessed and experienced: the Celebration Circle. This practice becomes a living technology for expanding our inner container so we can truly see, feel, and receive the medicine already surrounding us.

Through the reflections of people from different chapters of our lives, we begin to see the qualities, gifts, and impact that may be difficult to recognize from inside our own experience. Each person becomes a different mirror, revealing another facet of who we are.

This ritual also touches the parts of us that resist being loved, seen, witnessed, honoured, and celebrated. The parts that know how to give but struggle to receive. The parts that dismiss appreciation, move away from affection, or believe love must be earned through service, achievement, or usefulness.

Ayahuasca integration is not only about facing another wound. It is also about returning from the journey and creating enough space within ourselves for the gifts, love, and light we encountered to land in our ordinary lives.

Alongside this episode, you can explore The 7-Day Celebration Experience, a workbook created to help you practise receiving beauty, warmth, appreciation, support, pleasure, your own gifts, and the loving reflections already held by the people around you.

Because celebration is not something we earn after completing the work. Sometimes, celebration is the healing work that brings us into completion.

12 Gifts of Ayahuasca Integration: Living the Gifts You Already Carry18 juil. 202601:11:01

What gifts has ayahuasca already awakened within you?

For this episode, you'll need the free 12 Gifts of Ayahuasca Integration workbook → https://ayahuascaintegration.org/guides/twelve-gifts-workbook

In this episode of the Ayahuasca Integration Podcast, I explore the 12 Gifts of Ayahuasca Integration and the question that follows every ceremony:

How do I live the gifts that medicine has already shown me?

Many of us remain focused on what still needs healing. We search for the next wound, the next breakthrough, the next ceremony, or the next part of ourselves that needs to be fixed.

But ayahuasca integration also asks us to recognize what has already returned.

Together, we move through four stages of integration:

Returning to yourself through healing, the inner child, the body, and truth.

Learning to hold what has returned through self-love, structure, creativity, and joy.

Belonging more fully to life through community, connection, nature, and spiritual relationship.

Bringing your gifts into the world through purpose, service, and creation.

You will be invited to notice where healing is already visible in your life.

Maybe you recover more quickly after being triggered. Maybe your relationships are healthier. Maybe you can feel more deeply, speak more honestly, receive love more openly, or create without waiting for permission.

We explore the inner child not only as the part of you that was wounded, but as the keeper of your original aliveness, imagination, freedom, and divine blueprint.

We look at the body as a source of truth and present-moment intelligence. We explore self-love as forgiveness, structure as devotion made visible, creativity as life taking form, joy as a capacity that can be strengthened, and belonging as the experience of being fully yourself while remaining connected to others.

This is not an episode about finding twelve new problems to solve.

It is an invitation to recognize the gifts you already carry, give them a place in your ordinary life, and build the structure that allows them to grow.

This episode is for anyone exploring ayahuasca integration, inner child healing, embodiment, self-love, creativity, joy, belonging, spiritual connection, purpose, service, and how to bring the gifts of an ayahuasca ceremony into everyday life.

The medicine may have shown you the gifts.

Now it is time to build a life that can hold and express them.

Ayahuasca & The Four Movements of Surrender: How to Let the Medicine Truly Guide You03 juil. 202600:52:45

The Four Movements of Surrender: ( DOWNLOAD HERE:
https://ayahuascaintegration.org/four-movements-of-surrender

What if the life you built is not wrong, but simply too small for who you are becoming?

What if Ayahuasca is not asking you to understand more, prepare more, or control the ceremony better, but to surrender more completely to what is already trying to move through you?

In this episode, I sit down with Steve Cullen for a conversation about success, surrender, men’s work, plant medicine, and the deeper courage it takes to leave behind the identity you once thought was your life.

Steve spent decades inside a world that many people are taught to chase. Career success. Money. Status. Stability. A life that looked complete from the outside.

And yet something deeper kept calling.

This conversation follows the thread of that calling. We speak about what it means to walk away from a life built around achievement and enter a life built around healing, service, and devotion. We explore the hidden wounds beneath success, the old survival patterns that shape our relationships, and the way Ayahuasca can reveal what has been quietly directing our lives for decades.

At the heart of the episode is Steve’s simple and powerful framework for surrendering to the medicine:

Let Go. Let In. Let Be. Allow.

These four movements are not just for ceremony. They are a practice for integration, relationships, grief, fear, love, and every place in life where we are still trying to control what is asking to be felt.

We also explore men’s work, emotional honesty, fatherhood, marriage, accountability, and what happens when men finally have a space where they can stop performing and begin telling the truth.

This episode is for anyone preparing for an Ayahuasca ceremony, integrating a medicine experience, or standing at the edge of a life transition where the old identity no longer fits.

Most conversations about Ayahuasca focus on one night — the ceremony.

But after years of facilitating retreats, we've found that real, lasting transformation actually rests on three inseparable stages: preparation, ceremony, and integration.

Skip one, and the whole process gets shaky.

Honour all three, and a single retreat can become a genuine turning point in someone's life.

In this episode, we go back to first principles.

What we talk about:

  1. The three phases of Ayahuasca healing and transformation — why preparation, ceremony, and integration are one continuous process, not three separate events

  2. What makes a transformative container safe and sustainable — the structural and ethical foundations that let deep work happen without harm

  3. Preparation — medical and psychological screening, intention setting, nervous system regulation, and building real support before ceremony even begins

  4. Ceremony, structure, and safety — how skilled facilitation holds space for both profound spiritual experience and difficult psychological process

  5. Integration, ritual, and integration circles — how insight turns into a lived life, and why the months after a retreat matter just as much as the ceremony itself

Because the real question is never what happened during ceremony. It's: who are you becoming because of it?

Here's all three in the same format, with sharper, more inviting copy:

Ayahuasca & The Dark Night of the Soul 23 mai 202600:55:50

Imagine living your dream life — and then Ayahuasca shows you it's all going to burn to the ground.

This is the most personal story I've ever shared. A story about love, identity, control, betrayal, and collapse.

The relationship I thought would become my future family. The dream house. The animals I loved like children. The success. The identity I had spent years constructing.

Suddenly a vision showed me it would all go away.

And I refused to accept it.

What many call the dark night of the soul, I now understand as the dark night of control — the desperate attempt to hold together something life is asking you to release.

I share how I met my fiancƩ after an ayahuasca vision that predicted him before we ever crossed paths. The ecstatic love that followed. The slow unraveling as secrecy, emotional volatility, dependency, gaslighting, and deep relational fractures entered our lives.

And how, over time, I abandoned my own truth to preserve the relationship.

This episode also covers:

  • Trauma bonding and spiritual self-abandonment
  • The cost of ignoring intuition
  • Empathy without boundaries
  • The psychological toll of long-term gaslighting
  • Why spiritual people still lose themselves in unhealthy relationships
  • Identity collapse after awakening
  • What ayahuasca taught me about truth, surrender, and integrity
  • The grace hidden inside destruction

I talk about losing nearly everything. And I talk about what came after.

How life eventually carried me somewhere I could never have controlled my way into.

This isn't a polished spiritual success story. It's about what happens when structures built from fear finally collapse — and what becomes possible when you stop fighting the river.

If you're in a season of loss, confusion, heartbreak, identity collapse, or spiritual crisis, this episode is for you.

Does Ayahuasca Heal Depression and Anxiety? Evidence from 11,912 Users23 avr. 202601:05:10

In the world's largest study of ayahuasca for depression and anxiety, the results are stunning:

1. 78%Ā of people with depression reported major improvement or full resolution.

2. NearlyĀ one in threeĀ said their depression was completely gone.

3. For anxiety?Ā  70%Ā showed significant improvement.

But what's even more fascinating is theĀ new model of healingĀ the scientists uncovered.

Not the old path ofĀ drug → chemical change → symptom change.

Instead:Ā Medicine → altered state → new meaning → new symptoms.

In this episode I break down the Global Ayahuasca Project, one of the largest datasets ever collected on ayahuasca use. This is not a clinical trial, but a cross-sectional, self-reported study across more than 50 countries. It gives us a wide, real-world picture of who is drinking, in what settings, and what they say happened afterward.

Reported outcomes for depression and anxiety

Within the subgroup of participants who had diagnosed depression or anxiety, a large majority reported meaningful improvement after ayahuasca. Some reported that their symptoms were ā€œcompletely resolved,ā€ which is a strong claim in psychiatric terms. At the same time, a small percentage reported worsening symptoms. We look at both sides without exaggeration or dismissal.

Why mystical experience and insight mattered

The data shows a clear pattern: people who reported deeper, more intense experiences also reported greater improvements. This included feelings of unity, emotional breakthroughs, and personal insights about their lives.

The meaning-making model of healing

This study points toward a different mechanism than standard medication models. Instead of directly reducing symptoms through chemistry alone, the process seems to move through insight, emotional processing, and reinterpretation of personal history. The altered state opens access, but the shift comes from what the person understands and integrates. Healing, in this frame, is something the psyche actively participates in.

Why screening, setting, and integration matterThe outcomes are not happening in a vacuum. Who the person is, their mental health history, the environment they are in, and the support they have before and after all shape the result.

Why You Feel Worse After Ayahuasca - 3 Reasons People Miss16 avr. 202600:32:35

Why are you feeling worse after the Ayahuasca ceremony?

You came for healing.
Now you feel off. Angry. Disconnected.
What felt clear in ceremony feels far away.

This is where many people start doubting the process.

  • In this episode, we break down the three real reasons this happens.
    What is actually being activated.
Why the experience doesn’t hold once you’re back in your life.
And how to work with what’s here without collapsing or pushing it away.

We dive into:

  • Why feeling worse after ayahuasca is common and misunderstood
Most people expect relief, clarity, and lasting peace. Instead, they meet intensity, confusion, or emotional weight. We dive into why it is happening and what the real cause can be.
  • The ā€œdropā€ after ceremony and what it really is
After the openness of ceremony, coming back into daily life can feel like a contraction. The nervous system shifts, the environment changes, and the contrast becomes sharp. That drop is part of the transition, not a failure.
  • Spiritual hunger and how your system reacts when it’s not being fed
You touched a deeper layer of yourself in ceremony. When that connection isn’t nourished afterward, the system reacts. Anxiety, restlessness, and disconnection can be signals that something essential is missing.
  • The shift from being to character, and why it drains your energy
In ceremony, you are closer to your natural state. Back in daily life, you often return to roles and patterns. Maintaining those takes effort, especially when they no longer match who you just experienced yourself to be.
  • How to recognize when you’re performing instead of receiving
You may notice yourself trying to act a certain way, manage impressions, or stay in control. This creates tension and fatigue. Being, on the other hand, allows you to receive, rest, and actually feel nourished.
  • The difference between symptoms and root causes
What you feel on the surface is often not the core issue. The discomfort is a signal. The deeper layer might be disconnection, unprocessed emotion, or misalignment in how you are living.
Sacred Service: Integrating Your Impact E115 avr. 202600:15:08

Called to be of service with your medicine?

Download the free workbook here: https://ayahuascaintegration.org/guides/sacred-service-workbook

This is a new series on the Ayahuasca Integration Podcast called Sacred Service. Alongside our regular weekly episodes, I share short teachings from the work I do with students who feel called to bring their healing, their voice, and their medicine into service.

The dream behind this series is that more unique spiritual leaders step forward. People who do not fit the narrow image we have been shown. People shaped by real life, real healing, real complexity. People from many walks of life who have walked deeply with the medicine and carry something true, embodied, and needed.

The prayer is that what has stayed hidden can begin to come forward. That stories long kept quiet can be spoken. That voices that learned to stay small can find a way to be heard. That the medicine people carry in their life, their presence, and their service can reach the people it is meant for.

This is a specific part of the path. The moment where what you have lived is no longer only for you. Where you feel called into service with your medicine. Often as the first one in your lineage to step into this role, without a clear model to follow.

These episodes are here to support that integration. Not only of your experiences, but of your impact. Your voice. Your expression. Your way of serving.

In these episodes, I share how to give form to what you carry. How to find language for your work. How to shape your voice and message so people can actually feel it and understand it. How to create something real in the world that others can step into.

You’ll see these episodes marked as Sacred Service.

If you feel that call, this is for you.

Ayahuasca and Spiritual Parasites: Understanding Energetic Attachments and Protection08 avr. 202600:26:04

What if the fear of spiritual parasites isn’t irrational… but incomplete?

In this episode, I take you into a moment in ceremony where I felt something on my body that I could not remove. Not with breath. Not with force. Not with will.

And what became clear in that moment changed how I understand this work completely:

you don’t remove what’s feeding. you close what’s open.

We go into what people call spiritual parasites, energetic attachments, or entities. Not as belief, but as lived experience. Because the real question is not what’s out there. It’s what in you is available.

This episode breaks down:

  • what actually happens to your system when it opens in ceremony
  • why sensitivity without structure creates vulnerability
  • why most people know how to open, but not how to close
  • how breath regulates and stabilizes your field
  • how fear and resistance amplify what you’re trying to get rid of

And where this led me was not outward, but inward.

An abandonment wound.
Still active. Still shaping my behavior.

I share how that wound has been driving anxiety in my body for years, how I’ve been regulating it through food and distraction, and what happened when I stopped avoiding it and stayed with it long enough for something to shift.

There’s also a teaching from the shaman that reframed everything:
if the wound is open, something will come.
heal the wound, and it stops.

Toward the end, I go into what it actually means to protect, cleanse, and close your system after working with ayahuasca. Not as theory. As responsibility.

And I speak about the decision that came out of this.
To go deeper. To stay inside the work.

If you’re walking this path, this is part of it.

When Ayahuasca Reveals What You’re Not Ready to See01 avr. 202600:50:28

What Happens When Ayahuasca Shows You Something You're Not Ready to See?

...Maybe you just walked out of ceremony carrying something you didn't ask for.

...Maybe it was about someone you love.

...Maybe it was so big, so confusing, or so threatening that part of you has been trying to put it back ever since.

This episode is for that moment.

In this podcast, David Vox shares two times the medicine showed him something he couldn't unsee. ..And the moment he realised the medicine wasn't just warning him about others, but himself.

You'll hear:

    • Why the hardest ceremonies sometimes are the most important ones
    • What the medicine is actually doing when she shows you something that scares you
    • How to stay when everything in you wants to run

Plus —We cover ten principles for integrating what you're not ready to see:

  1. Don't make it mean anything about you yet. What you saw is real. What it means is still unfolding. Hold it without verdict.
  2. Don't act from the vision — integrate from it. What feels like clarity the morning after is often truth without roots. Let it age before you let it move you.
  3. Find one honest witness. Not someone to interpret it. Someone who can sit inside the weight of it with you without rushing you toward resolution.
  4. Go into the body first. The body received the vision before the mind had a chance to filter it. Feel where it landed before you try to understand it.
  5. Move toward it slowly — take it in doses. The nervous system needs contrast. Touch the hard thing, return to safety. Repeat. That's how it gets metabolized.
  6. Don't spiritualize your way out of it. "Everything is unfolding perfectly" can be true and a bypass at the same time. Stay with what was actually shown before you transcend it.
  7. Journal as a witness, not an analyst. Write what happened, what you felt, what you're afraid it means. No conclusions. No framework. Just honest presence with your own experience.
  8. Ask: what is this protecting me from? The resistance isn't weakness. It's the psyche guarding something tender. Follow it inward and it takes you directly to what most needs your attention.
  9. Don't weaponize the vision against yourself. The medicine showed you a truth. Not a sentence. There's a difference between I did harmful things and I am a harmful person.
  10. Life is the best integration. The deepest integration doesn't happen on a cushion. It happens in how you speak to the person you love the next morning. In whether you make the call you've been avoiding. Your life is the laboratory.

The Four Dimensions of Ayahuasca Integration: Transforming Ceremony Into Lasting Change25 mars 202600:59:30

You came home from ceremony changed — but the life that was waiting for you didn't know that yet.

In this episode, we walk through the four essential dimensions of integration: the physical, the emotional, the mental, and the spiritual.

In this episode you'll discover:

  • 🌿 What integration actually means — and why the Latin root of the word holds the key to everything
  • šŸŒ The Physical Direction — why your body is the foundation of all transformation, and what it means to treat it as a temple
  • šŸ’§ The Emotional Direction — how to let the river within flow freely, without being swept away or shutting it down
  • šŸŒ¬ļø The Mental Direction — why the mind is not your enemy, and how to enter into a sacred relationship with it
  • ✨ The Spiritual Direction — what it means to live the mystery, not just experience it in ceremony
  • šŸ”„ Why most people have the same ceremony over and over — and what the medicine is actually trying to show you

Whether you're preparing for your first ceremony or still making sense of one that changed everything, this episode offers a grounded and sacred map for what real integration looks and feels like.

Humanity Dying — Or Birthing Something New? An Interview With Ayahuasca Shaman Tina "Kat" Courtney26 fĆ©vr. 202601:08:49

Is humanity healing — or is it falling apart?

Right now the world feels like it's burning. And maybe it is. But what if that's not the tragedy we think it is? What if we're not dying — but in labor?

Tina "Kat" Courtney has sat with thousands of people at their most vulnerable self. As one of the very few Western women traditionally trained as an Ayahuasca shaman in the Shipibo tradition, she's learned one thing above everything else — the hard part is never the enemy. It's the invitation.

In this conversation we go deep into what this turbulent moment in history is really asking of us, why our shadow is not something to fear but something to befriend, and what an ancient plant medicine with thousands of years of wisdom actually sees coming for humanity.

Spoiler — she's not scared. And by the end of this episode, you might not be either.

In This Episode We Cover:

  • What Ayahuasca Actually Is — And Where She Really Comes From

Kat gives her definition of ayahuasca after 20 years of working with her, and shares where she believes this ancient intelligence truly originates from. The answer might surprise you.

  • Why Choosing the Right Facilitator Could Be the Most Important Decision You Make

In a space that's growing faster than its wisdom, Kat gets honest about what separates integrity from danger. What she says next is something every first-timer needs to hear before they book a retreat.

  • The Shaman's Basic Integration Kit

Kat breaks down the foundational daily practices that determine whether a ceremony changes your life or fades into a memory. This is the part most people skip — and exactly why they keep drinking without moving forward.

  • Shadow Work, Karma & the Lessons That Take Years to Understand

Kat shares the personal homework ayahuasca gave her that took years to complete. Some of it she fought. Some of it broke her open. All of it changed everything.

  • Why We Fear the Light More Than the Darkness

One of the most unexpected turns in this entire conversation. What Kat reveals about our deepest resistance in ceremony will stay with you long after you finish listening.

Animal Allies and Trauma Healing: What Ayahuasca Can’t Heal Alone22 fĆ©vr. 202600:37:48

What happens when the most profound healing in your life doesn't come from a therapist, a spiritual teacher, or even ayahuasca — but from an animal?

Preparation is integration.Download the free 12 Dimensions of Wholeness Self-Enquiry Form:https://ayahuascaintegration.org/12-dimensions-of-wholeness

Did you also have a deep relationship with an animal that felt like so much more than just "an animal"?

This episode dives into the medicine of our animal allies and explores why they are essential guides in trauma healing — beyond what ayahuasca or any psychedelic work can do alone.

I share the story of the animal who became my teacher and friend, showing me the spiritual depth and transformative power of these relationships, and revealing the lessons I could only receive through loyal presence, reflection, and unwavering guidance.

Because here's what I've come to understand after over a hundred ceremonies and a lifetime of healing work: ayahuasca can take you to the root of your pain. She can show you where it lives, when it started, what it cost you. She can crack you open in ways nothing else can. But there are parts of us that were wounded in a very specific way — through the loss of unconditional love — and those parts need something equally specific to come home.

They need a mirror. A pure one. One that never lied to you.

In this episode we explore:

  • Why losing an animal can hit harder than any human loss — and why that actually makes complete sense
  • What animals really are on a spiritual level — and why we massively underestimate them
  • The difference between guilt and shame in trauma healing — and why the body holds both long after the mind has moved on
  • Why desire and fear are more connected than we think — and how unresolved grief quietly turns your deepest wants into things you run from
  • What ayahuasca alone cannot heal — and where community becomes the real medicine

Death as Sacred Medicine: Ayahuasca Integration with Tina ā€œKatā€ Courtney from Plant Medicine People14 fĆ©vr. 202600:43:14

Do you feel broken beyond repair?

Have you come home from an ayahuasca ceremony carrying something so profound you have no idea how to integrate it into your everyday life?

Are you navigating a dark night of the soul—that terrifying space where everything you thought you knew has crumbled, leaving only confusion, fear, and the raw possibility of transformation?

This episode is for anyone who has sat with plant medicine and struggled to make sense of what happened afterward. It's for those in the depths of a spiritual crisis, questioning if they'll ever find solid ground again. And it's for seekers who want to understand what true integration actually looks like when you're bridging mystical experience with the demands of modern life.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN IN THIS EPISODE:

  • What a dark night of the soul actually is and why it feels like being thrown in a blender—plus how to navigate it without losing your mind

  • Why you're not broken or unfixable—Kat's controversial perspective that challenges everything we think about healing and therapy

  • The difference between transformation and spiritual bypassing—and why most people fail at integration because they skip the embodiment work

  • How to know if a ceremony space is actually safe and what red flags to watch for when choosing where to sit with medicine

  • Why the medicine keeps showing you the same lesson over and over—what ayahuasca means by "doing your homework on the teacher's desk"

  • Concrete integration practices that actually work—beyond just meditation and journaling, the physical actions required to embody your insights

  • How power gets abused behind the altar and what Kat learned from being "fired by ayahuasca" after a devastating falling out with her teacher

  • Why death is actually a gift and how making endings sacred transforms our relationship with grief, loss, and transformation

Ayahuasca and the Collapse of the False Self: Five Ways Your Identity ā€œBreaksā€ Free31 janv. 202600:43:34

You drink ayahuasca and suddenly you feel a collapse of your own self. The life you have built — studies, work, relationships, identity — cannot hold the person you are becoming.

You touch your life’s calling, your authentic energy, your deeper capacity, and everything that is not aligned begins to fall away. The ceremony ends, but the real work starts after. What feels like your identity breaking is often identity breaking free — a rebirth into something truer and more alive.

In this episode, we explore how new reference points emerge, what they are, and how they reorganize your life, purpose, and self. I share my most difficult integration experiences, including letting go of a successful career, releasing material status, and returning to Norway to confront the foster family I had not spoken to for over twenty years.

We also break down the five primary reference points ayahuasca activates, and why each one reshapes your life in ways that cannot be ignored:

1. Spiritual Reference Points

Direct encounters with Spirit, ancestors, or the Divine. This reference point reorients how you relate to existence, suffering, and life itself. It lands physically, emotionally, and mentally, reorganizing what is believable in your inner world.

2. Emotional Reference Points

Access to states you may have forgotten, never experienced, or thought were impossible — joy, grief, love, safety. Once it arrives, your emotional baseline changes, and you cannot live as if it never existed.

3. Physical Reference Points

Changes in how you inhabit your body. The way you breathe, move, hold yourself, speak, or occupy space may shift. Your body itself becomes a reference point, organizing how you engage with the world.

4. Mental Reference Points

Sudden clarity that reorganizes your entire story about who you are and why your life unfolded the way it did. Mental reference points cannot be ignored; pretending they don’t exist causes tension and inner conflict.

5. Ancestral Reference Points

Releases inherited patterns, trauma, and unresolved energies from past generations. These reference points often touch multiple layers simultaneously — spiritual, emotional, physical — and demand acknowledgment to prevent repeating cycles unconsciously.

Each reference point is a new organizing principle. Once it arrives, it shifts what you can live with. Ignoring them or trying to bypass them leads to fragmentation, internal conflict, and stalled growth. Integration is not optional — it is the work that allows your life to align with the truths the medicine has revealed.

When Ayahuasca Reveals Pain That Is Not Yours: The Ancestral Healing Vortex24 janv. 202600:48:11

What if the pain you are trying to heal is not yours to carry?

Imagine drinking ayahuasca for your own healing and suddenly finding yourself face to face with your father’s shame, your grandmother’s unresolved pain, or your great-grandfather’s grief from a war you never lived through.

For many people, ayahuasca does not work only on a personal level. It opens the lineage.

In this episode, I speak about the ancestral dimension of ayahuasca experiences and what it actually takes to integrate lineage material with responsibility, discernment, and respect.

In this episode, we explore:

  • Why ayahuasca often brings up ancestral and lineage material before personal trauma is resolved

  • How to recognize when the pain, shame, or grief you are feeling does not originate in your own biography

  • What happens when family secrets, unspoken histories, and inherited survival patterns surface through ceremony

  • The difference between carrying ancestral material and being consumed by it

  • Why some energies do not want to be purged, fixed, or pushed out, but instead demand respect and surrender

We also explore the four types of ancestors that commonly appear in ayahuasca work, and how to recognize which layer you are engaging:

  • Ancestors of the bloodline: parents, grandparents, and family lineage whose unresolved trauma, shame, and survival strategies live in the body and nervous system

  • Ancestors of the land: the spirits and memory of the places we live on, including histories of displacement, violence, and belonging

  • Ancestors of the soul: previous lives and spiritual memory that surface as embodied knowing rather than story or identity

  • Ancestors of affinity: chosen ancestors, guides, and spiritual allies we align with across lifetimes, including plant spirits and teachers

This episode also addresses:

  • What can happen after lineage revelations, including confusion, destabilization, and unexpected liberation

  • A personal story of receiving a lineage truth in ceremony that altered my understanding of my family and identity

  • Why confronting family members too quickly after ceremony can create harm, even when the information feels undeniable

  • How to integrate ancestral truths without collapsing, reenacting the past, or trying to heal an entire bloodline alone

Your Service After Ayahuasca: From Healing to Holding Space12 janv. 202600:43:40

Feeling the call to be of service? This episode is for you.

If you have done a few ayahuasca retreats, you know the shift. You entered the medicine path for your own healing, and somewhere along the way a seed starts growing: ā€œI want to give back. I want to support others.ā€ That impulse can be real, clean, and sacred. It can also get tangled in performance, spiritual identity, and the need to be liked.

In this episode we bring service down to earth.

Service is not a persona. It is the natural overflow of integration. It is where your gift and your grief meet. The places that broke you open often become the places you can hold others with uncommon precision, especially in the retreat and post-ceremony landscape where people come home with a lot of light and not enough structure to live it.

I use a simple metaphor to name what stops most people: the hermit crab crossing. You outgrow your old shell, you see the next one, and the only way there is to walk naked across open ground. Many people keep stepping in and out of the same shell for years. They volunteer once, post once, offer once, then retreat back into hiding. The call is not the problem. The crossing is.

We also get practical about boundaries and integrity in the service field.

If you lead with empathy before respect, you will get drained. If your service depends on approval, you will dilute your truth. If you confuse peak states from ceremony with readiness, you will overreach. True service is stable, relational, and grounded in daily life: how you speak, how you follow through, how you hold your energy, how you treat people, how you protect your nervous system.

This is especially relevant if you want to support others after ayahuasca retreats, hold integration space, assist in ceremony, or build a real practice. The foundation is not branding. It is embodiment.

  • The ā€œhealing to serviceā€ threshold after ayahuasca retreats

  • Gift + grief as the real source of service

  • The hermit crab crossing: leaving the old shell and becoming visible

  • Serving without needing to be liked, praised, or validated

  • ā€œWho before howā€: stop obsessing over strategy and choose one person you want to serve

  • Clean boundaries: respect first, compassion second

  • How to reconnect with retreat community without hidden agenda

  • Why integration is not complete until it reaches behavior and action

  • Reach out to one retreat friend with zero agenda: ā€œYou came to mind. How are you doing lately?ā€

Too Much Light: Integration Through the Lens of Kabbalah12 janv. 202600:58:53

What happens when you drink and touch real light, but you don’t integrate it? The vessel cracks. The current keeps coming, and what could have become wisdom turns into overload, inflation, chaos, or collapse.

Today I’m sharing one of the most important lessons on the medicine path: the light can be so strong that it becomes difficult to hold. Ayahuasca, breathwork, and deep spiritual practices can open you to an unfiltered current, a level of clarity and unity that dissolves separation. Then real life returns, and the system struggles to translate what it touched into something livable.

You’ve seen the pattern. People speak about visions and missions, but the world of action stays untouched. Monday arrives and the body is dysregulated. Time collapses. Money becomes messy. Relationships strain. Boundaries blur. Service becomes an idea instead of a lived offering. The gap between spiritual peak and daily life widens, and many people respond by chasing more light instead of strengthening the vessel.

In this episode, I bring the lens of Kabbalah to sacred integration through the concept of tikkun: repair and restoration. In the Kabbalah creation story, infinite light pours into vessels that shatter, scattering sparks. The work becomes gathering the sparks, rebuilding the vessels, and restoring unity where there has been fragmentation. I’m offering this as an integration framework, not as formal religious teaching.

The point is practical: integration is vessel-building. You learn to hold the light without leaking it. You bind insight into time, structure, and action. You translate revelation into responsibility. The world of action becomes the altar where the divine actually lands.

I also name the risks I see when people bypass this step: addiction to peak states, spiritual inflation, arrogance, over-giving, bread of shame dynamics, retraumatization through overload, and deeper fragmentation. If you facilitate, this becomes a responsibility conversation. Sometimes the most loving move is to pause medicine and build structure.

You’ll leave with a clear map of what to watch for, how to ground what you receive, and simple daily practices that strengthen the container so the light can dwell, not shatter you.

Where Are You Losing Your Feathers? Inner Child Integration and Restoring Inner Power12 janv. 202600:41:43

Inner child integration is a practical return to inner power, self-trust, and coherence.

In this episode, I share a medicine dream from my fiancƩ during the COVID period. In the dream he is a child with white angel wings, free and light. Every time he lies to someone else or to himself, a feather falls out. Over time the wings become bare, and adulthood arrives without lift, without movement, without trust. Years later, I realized that dream was also a mirror for my own path. I know how easy it is to give away feather after feather, truth after truth, to keep love possible, to keep peace, to keep belonging, until the cost becomes your freedom.

From that story we go into integration work you can actually apply. Restoring inner power is built through micro-truth: the small choices where you abandon yourself and call it ā€œbeing easy,ā€ the small agreements you keep to avoid conflict, the small betrayals that slowly train your nervous system to distrust you. This episode tracks how those feathers disappear, how to notice it early, and how to stop the quiet self-plucking that leaves people feeling hollow, compliant, or exhausted.

You’ll be guided through The Feather Audit, a simple integrity practice you can run daily or weekly:

  • Truth I lived: what I knew was true and embodied through action

  • Truth I avoided: what I felt or knew, but did not say or do

  • Truth I owe: what needs repair, a conversation, a new agreement, or a clean action

We also look at ā€œcharactersā€ and personas: how they form in childhood, how they adapt to groups and authority, how they can appear spiritually sophisticated, and why they cannot receive real intimacy or real nourishment. Then I share a grounded framework I call The Four Ps for inner child integration: Passion, Purpose, Playfulness, Prosperity. Passion and playfulness fuel the child’s aliveness. Purpose and prosperity protect the child through structure, rhythm, and sustainability. Together they create a life that holds both freedom and stability.

Core question to carry into your week: Where are you losing your feathers right now, and who are you losing them for?

  • Inner child integration as the restoration of inner power, coherence, and self-trust

  • The ā€œangel wingsā€ dream: feathers lost through lies, wings lost through self-betrayal

  • How people trade truth for belonging, peace, approval, love, and safety

  • Micro-truth: the smallest yes/no choices that build or break integrity

  • The Feather Audit (Truth I lived, Truth I avoided, Truth I owe)

  • Repair as action: new agreement, clean follow-through, restored trust

  • Integrating Your True Gifts After Ayahuasca: The Golden Shadow11 janv. 202600:57:09

Most people don't fail at transformation. They stall at expression.

(Preparation is integration. Download the free 12 Dimensions of Wholeness Self-Enquiry Form:https://ayahuascaintegration.org/12-dimensions-of-wholeness )

In this episode, we go straight to where integration becomes real: your gifts. Not your skills or credentials. Your natural way of being—what moves through you when you stop performing. We look at why sharing your gift often feels threatening, how fear protects it by delaying it, and how the "golden shadow" forms when your essence gets wrapped in strategy.

You'll hear the classic traps that keep talented people stuck preparing forever: "once I have more time," "once I'm healed," "one more certification," "I need a total reset." We also name the deeper layer—old agreements, unspoken promises, and the quiet deals you made to belong.

    In this episode, we explore:

    • What a gift actually is, and why it's not the same as a skill
    • The golden shadow: the gift under constraint, the gift under protection
    • Fear that sounds spiritual—false humility, waiting to be ready, endless preparation
    • The "not yet" strategy and why it keeps you stuck
    • Why gifts and wounds travel together (same source, different expression)
    • Stillness as a prerequisite for hearing your real signal
    • Small honest actions that restore your voice

What Happens After Ayahuasca? When Healing Turns Into Service04 janv. 202600:14:57

Many people come to ayahuasca to receive medicine for their own healing.
Fewer are prepared for being called to serve.

Because what happens when the medicine is no longer something you only drink in ceremony, but something you start living with day by day?

When it begins shaping how you move through the world, how you relate, and how you show up?

After ten years on the ayahuasca path, I’ve watched many people move from personal healing into service. Not because they planned to, and not because they took on a role, but because the medicine kept working through them.

The episode includes a short guided meditation, designed to help you connect with the people you feel called to serve in this lifetime.

This episode is for those who feel that the medicine is asking something more of them than personal healing, and want to listen carefully to what that might be.

Your First Home Was the Heart: A Guided Meditation for Ayahuasca Healing & Integration24 dƩc. 202500:26:08

Your first home was the heart.
Before language. Before identity. Before effort.

This guided meditation takes you inward, through the layers of the heart, into the rhythm that existed before memory. You are guided to reconnect with the maternal heartbeat, the ancestral feminine line, and the inner masculine energy that protects and carries. The meditation moves through descent, remembrance, integration, and return, allowing forgotten or exiled parts of the self to be felt, witnessed, and gathered back into the heart.

This is a heart-centered integration meditation.
Best listened to lying down or seated, with eyes closed, in a quiet space.

    Merry Christmas.
If this season carries warmth for you, let it deepen here.
If it carries grief, absence, or complexity, you are not doing it wrong.
This meditation is offered as a place to rest inside yourself, when the outer world feels loud or tender.

This meditation is designed for ayahuasca integration and deep inner work. After plant medicine experiences, many people feel powerful energies, memories, and identities awaken without knowing how to hold or integrate them. This heart-centered guided meditation supports the integration process by helping you meet the feminine and masculine energies within, feel them in the body, and bring them back into coherence through the heart.

This is a guided heart meditation for integration, emotional healing, and nervous system grounding.
Best listened to lying down or seated, with eyes closed, in a quiet space.

Your Gifts Are the Real Integration After Ayahuasca22 dƩc. 202501:20:09

Are you hiding your gifts after Ayahuasca?
Many people leave ceremony with insight, clarity, and energy—yet struggle when their gifts begin asking to be lived. This episode goes straight into that moment of truth.

At a certain point in the integration journey, healing is no longer the work. Expression is.
Your gifts want space. Your light wants movement. And as that light grows, the shadow doesn’t disappear—it activates.

In this episode, we explore what really happens when your gifts come online after Ayahuasca. Why fear, doubt, procrastination, and self-protection often intensify right when you are closest to your purpose. Why the shadow is not a problem to fix, but a guardian responding to expansion. And why true integration is not about more insight—but about honoring what wants to move through you.

    We go deep into:

    • Why gifts—not wounds—become the center of integration after Ayahuasca

    • How your shadow activates as your light grows stronger

    • The difference between healing work and embodiment work

    • Why many people get stuck in ā€œpreparation modeā€ instead of expression

    • How purpose, power, and gifts are integrated through action, not perfection

This episode ends with a guided heart-based meditation designed to reunite two energies that often haven’t met in years:
the part of you that carries your gifts, and the part of you that protects you from being seen.

If your Ayahuasca journey has brought you to a threshold—where insight is no longer enough and your life is asking for alignment—this episode is for you.

Your gifts are not the result of integration.
    Your gifts are the integration.

The Games We Play After Ayahuasca: 10 Common Integration Patterns16 dƩc. 202501:08:00

Did you know that we all play games in healing and transformational work?

Download the free workbook here: https://ayahuascaintegration.org/guides/games-we-play

You have seen how healing turns into performance.
How spiritual language starts replacing actual change.
How people adopt identities that are not lived in daily life.
How strong reactions appear in ceremony spaces without being understood.

    These are integration games.

They are recurring patterns that show up when experiences are intense but not yet embodied. They are not personal defects. They are part of what happens after ceremony when insight has not been metabolized into action.

There are ten integration games that tend to appear during and after ceremony. Most people play several of them. Awareness does not resolve them on its own, but it creates the possibility of choice. That is where integration begins.

In this episode, I walk through the ten most common integration games I have observed through years of work with ceremony, integration, and facilitation. Each game is named clearly and examined for how it affects behavior, relationships, and everyday life, so the work can move beyond insight into lived change.

    You’ll hear about:

    • How healing turns into performance, identity, or spiritual theater

    • Why insight without responsibility quietly collapses back into old patterns

    • The avoidance games that protect us from real change

    • Oversharing, explaining, and guru energy in integration spaces

    • Projection, comparison, and subtle group dynamics

    • Belonging, isolation, and identity protection in ceremony containers

    • Pleasure, distraction, and boundary-testing behaviors

    • Cosmic confusion and the ā€œayahuasca told meā€ trap

    • The endless search for a missing piece

    • Shame, guilt, and the inner critic after awakening experiences

These games show up because they protect something vulnerable. Awareness doesn’t end them. It creates choice.

This episode is an invitation to recognize the patterns without shame, so the work doesn’t just feel deep, but actually changes how life is lived.

Integration After Ayahuasca: Why Your Truth Is the Real Medicine13 dƩc. 202500:21:20

Ayahuasca can show you the truth.
But it cannot live it for you.

In this episode, I speak about the part of integration that’s rarely named and often avoided: the quiet, daily cost of self-betrayal. The small lies. The compromises. The feathers that fall every time we abandon what we know is true.

This is not about ceremony, visions, or peak experiences.
    It’s about what happens after.
When the medicine is gone and your life is still there.

I share a story about devotion, loss, and what it took to refeather myself. One truth at a time. One boundary at a time. Until the wings returned.

If you’ve worked with ayahuasca and still feel stuck, fragmented, or tired of carrying insights that never quite land, this episode is for you.

Integration doesn’t ask for more love and light.
    It asks for truth.

What we cover in this episode:

Why ayahuasca isn’t the medicine - your lived truth is
Ayahuasca ceremonies can reveal deep insight, emotional truth, and unconscious patterns. But the medicine itself does not heal your life. Healing happens in integration, when the truths revealed during an ayahuasca ceremony are lived daily through honest choices, integrity, and embodiment.

What really breaks integration after an ayahuasca retreat
Integration after ayahuasca breaks down when people return to the same relationships, environments, and behaviors while ignoring what the ceremony clearly showed them. Avoiding necessary changes after an ayahuasca retreat creates inner conflict, confusion, and a sense that the medicine ā€œdidn’t work.ā€

The hidden cost of calling self-abandonment ā€œloveā€ or ā€œdevotionā€
Many people leave ayahuasca ceremonies believing they need to give more, love harder, or sacrifice themselves to be spiritual. This episode names how self-abandonment is often mislabeled as love, devotion, or surrender, and how this quietly destroys integration and self-trust over time.

Why people feel stuck, fragmented, or exhausted after ceremony
Feeling worse after ayahuasca is common when insights are not integrated. Seeing truth without acting on it creates fragmentation in the nervous system. The exhaustion people feel after ceremony is often the weight of avoided truth, not a failure of the ayahuasca experience.

Responsibility after ayahuasca: what the medicine gives back to you
Ayahuasca does not remove responsibility, it returns it. After ceremony, responsibility means response-ability: the capacity to respond to what you now know. Integration requires choosing truth over comfort and taking responsibility for aligning your life with what the medicine revealed.

The Hidden Key to Ayahuasca Healing and Integration No One Talks About05 dƩc. 202500:45:20

If you’re navigating the complexities of Ayahuasca healing and you find yourself moving too fast on your path — pushing, improving, ā€œdoing the work,ā€ yet still feeling that quiet internal pressure — this episode goes right to the heart of why.
    Because that pressure isn’t random.
It’s the signature of a part of you that’s been left behind.

In this episode, we explore the core mistake almost everyone makes in deep healing: outrunning the very part of themselves that holds the truth, the timing, and the healing they seek. Through the story of a master diamond thief who searched everywhere for a diamond that was never lost — only hidden where he’d never think to look — we examine how most of us do the same in our spiritual and ayahuasca journeys.

What if the diamond you’re searching for was never missing… just placed in the one part of you you’ve been avoiding?
    The slowest-moving part.
    The tender part.

We go into the three phases of the Ayahuasca journey — Healing, Integration, and Transformation — and why they move in spirals, not straight lines. In this episode, we focus on the healing phase, the cocoon where you stop outrunning yourself and meet the parts of you that carry your real identity, your timing, your inner child, and the emotional truth that never disappears.

    You’ll learn:

    • Why most people run their healing at the same speed as their trauma, and why nothing lands when you’re ahead of your body
    • The difference between fast energy (sympathetic activation) and slow energy (parasympathetic connection)
    • How overwhelm drops you into dorsal freeze, and why this matters for your integration
    • Why your slowest-moving parts are not the wound — they’re the doorway to your wholeness
    • How Ayahuasca slows you down on purpose, so you can meet what you’ve been refusing to feel
    • Why the ā€œdiamondā€ of your journey is hidden inside the part of you that refuses to move until you’re ready

We explore the four pillars of the healing phase — Surrender, Listen, Open, Warrior — and how SLOW becomes not just an acronym, but a nervous-system truth. Fast is fear. Fast is survival. Slow is where your soul lives. Slow is where the real medicine works.

This episode invites you into the pace where real ayahuasca integration finally occurs.
The pace where healing becomes embodied.
The pace where transformation emerges naturally.
The pace where the diamond reveals itself.

Slow down — the treasure is closer than you think.

AI vs Ayahuasca: The Hidden Dangers of Using ChatGPT in Your Healing & Integration Work17 nov. 202500:47:17

What actually happens when people start treating ChatGPT like a guide in their Ayahuasca integration?

Download the e-book The Games We Play After Ayahuasca
This episode goes straight into the rising trend of using AI for plant medicine integration, trauma healing, spiritual awakening, and inner work — and the real risks it creates for your path.

More and more people are turning to AI to interpret ceremonies, analyze relationships, decode spiritual openings, and give them answers about their shadows. For many, ChatGPT has become a ā€œdigital shamanā€ — always available, always responsive, always ready with a polished line.

And that’s precisely why it’s dangerous.

    In this episode, we explore:

    • Why AI feels like a guide for people who’ve never sat with Ayahuasca
    • The difference between a living intelligence and a linguistic engine
    • How ChatGPT mirrors your language but cannot feel your consciousness
    • How AI stabilizes illusions, strengthens ego, and feeds bias
    • Why real Ayahuasca integration is somatic, relational, ancestral, and communal
    • Why AI cannot co-regulate your nervous system or hold emotional truth
    • The illusion of progress AI creates — without any embodiment
    • How AI derails intuition and replaces real human connection with artificial feedback

I also share the story of my own year-long experiment with AI during a deep integration period — how it pulled me into loops of analysis, disconnected me from my intuition, and eventually showed me exactly why this work can never be outsourced.

    Ayahuasca is alive.
    AI is engineered.
    One expands your soul.
    The other rearranges your sentences.

If you’re walking a plant medicine path, doing shadow work, navigating spiritual awakening, or holding space for others, this episode gives you a grounded map of where AI fits — and where it becomes a real risk for your healing.

Ten Years with Ayahuasca: Lessons from a Decade of Healing Part 111 nov. 202500:18:58

What can happen when you walk with Ayahuasca for ten years?

I speak about the early years of fear and resistance, the nights of deep purging and release, and the moment joy finally returned to my body after years of trauma. This is not a story about escape or visions; it’s about integration — the long, grounded process of turning mystical experiences into real change, peace, and creativity in daily life.

Whether you’re preparing for your first Ayahuasca retreat, in the middle of an integration process, or simply curious about what long-term work with the plant can open inside a human being, this episode offers a raw and honest reflection.

We explore:– Ayahuasca integration after ceremony and how it evolves over time– The importance of trauma-informed facilitation and safe ceremony spaces– How sound, song, and traditional healing tools help release emotion– The return of joy and the awakening of the inner child after deep healing– What ā€œliving in integrationā€ looks like years after the retreat is over

Ten years, more than a hundred ceremonies, and one ongoing conversation with a teacher older than time.

If you’re walking the path of Ayahuasca, plant medicine, or spiritual integration, may this story remind you that healing doesn’t end when the ceremony closes — it begins there.

Honor Your Ancestors: An Ancestral Medicine Meditation for Day of the Dead31 oct. 202501:00:53

If your ancestors were sitting in a cinema right now, watching the movie of your life, what would they be screaming toward the screen? What would they be celebrating, trying to share with you? What would they be praying for?

    Before you listen:

This episode is an invitation to explore these questions deeply. Through a guided ancestral meditation, you will connect with all your ancestors—those of your lineage, the ancestors of the land you inhabit, and the ancestors of affinity, including the teachers, guides, and plant allies you have chosen along your path.

We begin by preparing a sacred space. You are invited to create a small altar to honor your ancestors, bringing intention and reverence into the practice. You’ll write down a question for your ancestors—perhaps about healing your lineage, fully expressing your gifts and service in the world, or learning how to honor and celebrate yourself completely.

The meditation will guide you through a deep dialogue with your ancestors. You will witness the energy, love, and wisdom they bring, and you will feel their guidance and presence. This is a time to integrate their support into your life, to reflect, to celebrate, and to honor both your lineage and your own journey.

Set aside a full hour for this practice. Pause this episode until you are ready to give yourself the space and attention it requires. This is a sacred opportunity to go deep, to feel your connection across generations, and to express yourself fully.

Through this meditation, you’ll engage with the essence of the Day of the Dead, a sacred time to honor and celebrate those who came before us. By connecting with your ancestors, you strengthen the flow of love, wisdom, and life that passes through generations—and reclaim your own power, gifts, and ability to celebrate yourself and your journey.

Trigger warning: This podcast mentions trauma.

So who am I, really — the person behind the Ayahuasca Integration Podcast? And what first called me onto this path with Ayahuasca more than ten years ago? In this first episode, I take you with me into my very first ceremony. It was not a clean or polished story of bliss. It was a raw encounter with myself: rage that erupted from a place I didn’t even know existed, grief that returned in waves so deep it felt like drowning, and the first time in my life I allowed myself to be witnessed without masks.

This is the beginning of my path, the place where Ayahuasca and integration collided for me. Integration wasn’t something I read about in a book or picked up as a clever concept. It came in the sweat lodge, in the circle, in the dark night where strangers shared their most hidden secrets. It came in the trembling of my own voice when I spoke truths I had never dared to share. That’s when I understood what it meant to integrate — to not just survive a ceremony, but to bring what surfaced into the light of community and allow it to change me.

Ayahuasca Integration is at the heart of this podcast because it has been at the heart of my own healing. When I first drank the medicine, the ceremony opened the shadow I had carried for decades — rage I didn’t know was inside me, grief I had buried since childhood, and the silent voice of an inner child who believed he was unworthy of love. Integration began the moment I allowed that child to be seen, and the moment I let others breathe with me in that space instead of hiding it away.

For me, Ayahuasca integration is not about visions or mystical imagery. It is about what happens after the cup is empty. It is about the sweat lodge, where we sit in total darkness and discover that every person has a story that can break your heart open. It is about the integration circle, where shame dissolves as people listen instead of judge. It is about the collective breath of strangers who suddenly become part of your healing body.

Healing does not happen in isolation. Integration is not something we can do alone. It is conducted together — in sweat lodges, in circles, in songs, in the shared silence after someone has spoken a truth they thought they would never share. That is why I am here, and why this podcast exists: to honor the power of integration, to tell the stories of what it really looks like, and to keep weaving this path with all of you.

In this episode, you will hear:

    • How my first Ayahuasca ceremony surfaced rage, trauma, and grief.

    • The scream that changed my energy field and gave me back my space.

    • Why the sweat lodge became the most powerful moment of integration.

    • How sharing secrets in community dissolves shame and creates repair.

    • The shift that made me see love in the eyes of others where I once saw only anger.

What really happens after ayahuasca? In this landmark episode of theĀ Ayahuasca Integration Podcast, we go inside theĀ largest global study on ayahuasca integration ever conductedĀ ā€”Ā ā€œLife After Ayahuasca: A Qualitative Analysis of the Psychedelic Integration Experiences of 1,630 Ayahuasca Drinkersā€ (2023). Across five continents, participants shared their real stories of life after the ceremony: the struggles, the breakthroughs, and the slow, layered work of turning visions into lived change.

    We unpack:

    • The most common challenges people face after ayahuasca, including disconnection from friends, family, and culture.
    • The shift in values and priorities that follows the medicine — and why it can feel like ā€œreverse culture shock.ā€
    • Key practices and support systems that actually work: community, meditation, somatic practice, nature immersion, and ongoing integration circles.
    • Why integration is not a checklist but aĀ psychosocial–spiritual processĀ of weaving insight into everyday life.
    • How retreat centers and facilitators can close the ā€œpost-ceremony support gapā€ revealed by the study.
    • Evidence of long-term transformation: personal growth, deeper compassion, improved mental health, and reconnection with nature.

This episode moves beyond hype to focus onĀ the real work after the visions fade — the part of the journey most people never see. Whether you’re a first-time seeker, an experienced facilitator, or running a retreat center, the data in this episode can help you build more effective, ethical, and human-scaled integration support.
