| #581: [INTRODUCING] Amazon CodeWhisperer | 24 Apr 2023 | 00:24:16 | |
Amazon CodeWhisperer enables software developers to get real-time code recommendations in their IDE based on their (English) comments describing the task at hand, and their current coding context. With CodeWhisperer, developers can simply write a natural language comment that outlines a specific task such as “get new files uploaded in the last 24 hours from the S3 bucket” and CodeWhisperer automatically determines which cloud services and public libraries are best suited for the specified task and generates the code for the developer. CodeWhisperer is especially well suited to helping developers generate code that simplifies consumption of AWS services (e.g., Amazon EC2 or Amazon S3), making it the best coding assistant for if you are developing for AWS. | #569: Simplifying Kubernetes on bare metal with EKS Anywhere | 30 Jan 2023 | 00:25:05 | |
Amazon EKS Anywhere is a deployment option for Amazon EKS that allows customers to create and operate Kubernetes clusters on customer-managed infrastructure, supported by AWS. With support for bare metal deployments on Amazon EKS Anywhere, customers now have a broader choice of infrastructure for running Kubernetes on-premises. As customers modernize their applications, they want to use Kubernetes consistently between their existing on-premises bare metal infrastructure and the cloud. Running Kubernetes on bare metal infrastructure is complex, and customers spend time, effort and money on infrastructure operations instead of focusing on business innovation.
In this podcast, you will learn how Amazon EKS Anywhere on bare metal enables customers to automate all steps - from bare metal hardware provisioning to Kubernetes cluster operations - using a bundled open source toolset built on the foundation of Tinkerbell and Cluster API.

| #553: Protect Your Data With AWS Backup for Amazon S3 | 31 Oct 2022 | 00:14:50 | |
Data continues to grow at an exponential rate, and it is leveraged for customer insights and experiences as well as AI/ML engines. That application data is valuable and needs protection against the all manners of disasters from natural, to accidental, to intentionally malicious. In highly regulated industries, customers need to audit and report on the compliance of their data against organizational or regulatory standards.
