This week my guest Blanka and I are talking about her experience of being pregnant, giving birth and the following months as someone with AuDHD. Blanka shares how she felt throughout her pregnancy and the pressure she felt to bond with her baby, both before and after giving birth, and how difficult that was as an autistic person. This is a very raw and personal episode tackling a lot of things that often don't get talked about publicly, so I am so thankful to Blanka for sharing so much. | Tag Teaming Titration! With Hannah Clark! | 16 Oct 2026 | 01:16:30
When I first had Hannah on the podcast neither of us had started medication for ADHD. Hannah and I have become great mates since we first met and as luck would have it we have been going through titration at the same time so we became titration buddies and started sending each other voice notes updating each other on how we were finding Elvanse, side effects, positive changes, things we were excited about and also things we were feeling anxious about. I was thrilled when Hannah agreed to share it all with you in this very ADHD episode! We also touch on *that* Channel 4 dodgy documentary... Enjoy! Find out more about Hannah here! Also stay tuned to the end of the episode to hear me celebrate you and your littles wins AND also tell you all you need to know about this year's ADHDAF Day! After spending the summer in a titration bubble, I'm back! And who better to get season three off to an awesome start that the author of the new book "The ADHDer's Guide To Self Discovery", Professor Sol Smith! As always, I had an excellent time chatting with Sol, and this couldn't have happened at a better time as I was a couple of weeks into titration for Elvanse. | Healthy Body & Healthy Mind With James Wheeler! | 24 Jul 2026 | 00:53:33
James Wheeler is the founder of Fitness and Mind, a coaching brand built specifically for neurodivergent people who've been let down by one-size-fits-all fitness advice. Drawing on nearly 20 years in inclusive fitness delivery, James created the Bad Days First™ framework and Minimum Viable Action method — approaches designed around the reality of fluctuating energy, motivation, and capacity, rather than fighting against it. He also works in public health delivery across Essex, and sits on the governance boards of a local primary school and a young carers' charity. This is a pretty hard hitting interview at times so please listen with caution. James was totally open and honest in our chat and there are mentions of an attempt James made on his own life. Having said that, this episode is not without it's light hearted moments and I had a brilliant time chatting with James. For all things James related click here! This is the last episode of season two of the podcast, however, fret not! There's an exciting announcement at the very end of the episode about what's coming up over the next few weeks that those of you who follow the podcast on Instagram might have a sneaky idea about... | Crossing Continents & Creating Community with Khelsy! | 10 Jul 2026 | 00:59:36
I'm just back from a tres bien weekend away in France visiting my family and todays episode is a very French one indeed! My guest this week is Khelsy... Based in Paris, Khelsy is a late-diagnosed AuDHD lesbian, creator, and the founder of NEUROLY. Through candid storytelling, she shares exactly what happens when you stop trying to fit in and finally start trusting yourself. By using raw honesty to challenge the idea that it’s ever too late to start over, Khelsy invites anyone stuck in self-doubt to ditch the pressure and lean into their own intuition. Her stories are a reminder that you don’t have to navigate the messy parts of self-discovery alone, showing that there’s no such thing as being too late to be yourself. I had an awesome time chatting with Khelsy. She's a fascinating person with so many stories to share. Please be warned, we do touch on some tough topics that some people may find triggering including domestic abuse and a brief mention of suicide attempt. | Healing From Trauma With K.A.P. With Sean Gillen! | 03 Jul 2026 | 00:45:08
In next week's episode, I have a brilliant guest who, during our interview, mentions K.A.P. and the positive affect it's had on her life. I hadn't heard of K.A.P. before chatting with her so in this week's episode I decided I should find out all about it in anticipation of that episode being released. Enter Sean Gillen from EULAS Clinics in Scotland who is here to educate us all about it. He talks in detail about what exactly K.A.P. is, who it's suitable for, how it's administered and the potential benefits. There is also mention of some subjects that some listeners may find triggering including drug misuse and brief mentions of war. Sean Gillen, director of eulas clinics. After 15 years of working in mental health services and seeing poor outcomes on a regular basis, Sean and his team started eulas clinics with the intention of bringing a more modern and effective approach to mental health treatment. Sean and his team are the first to provide ketamine assisted psychotherapy in Scotland and have now branched out to London to make this treatment as available and accessible as possible. | Gill Of All Trades! With Gillian Charlton! | 26 Jun 2026 | 01:00:17
I've called this episode Gill Of All Trades because Gill is someone, who like me and many other ADHD people, has many strings to her bow and it's something I feel we should celebrate more! I was first introduced to Gill through my gorgeous mate Laura on a facetime, if I recall correctly, last New Years Eve. She was bouncing around in her pyjamas singing and I was immediately drawn to her energy. Gill is a naturally funny person, which is something I love but there is also so much more to her... Gill Charlton is a former British Army soldier, comedian, celebrant, speaker and full‑time Northern chatterbox. She was diagnosed with combined‑type ADHD at 38 while still serving, during treatment for PTSD and following a cancer diagnosis in 2018.After 24 years in the Army, PTSD and a long medical discharge process led Gill to leave service in 2023, throwing her sense of identity into chaos. She coped the only way an ADHD brain knows how — by doing everything. Gill immersed herself in recovery programmes based around adaptive sport, saying yes to sailing, snowboarding, climbing, axe throwing and pretty much anything else offered. She was also selected for the Invictus Games and took a stand‑up comedy course, which led to her becoming co‑founder and director of the Veterans Comedy Club CIC.After leaving the Army, Gill retrained and worked full‑time as a celebrant, building a business rooted in connection, humour and authenticity — a role she still continues alongside her work. A year ago, she moved into a full‑time Events Executive role in the charity sector, supporting military‑connected communities. Through podcasts like ADHD AF, Gill found the ADHD community she’d been searching for and now runs the Manchester peer support group for the ADHD AF+ charity. She’s also a mum to two AuDHD sons, an event host and speaker, and someone who gets involved in almost everything.

| Nowt As Queer As Folk! With Heidi Mavir! | 19 Jun 2026 | 00:50:07 | |
In this episode, I'm joined by the wonderful Heidi Mavir for a conversation that was originally meant to focus on the brilliant work she does through EOTAS Matters and The Marble Run. That was the plan, anyway. In true ADHD fashion, we took a wonderfully unexpected detour and found ourselves talking about queerness instead - which honestly could not be more perfect, given that this episode is being released during Pride Month! Fret not! I shall definitely endeavour to get Heidi back on the podcast again in the future because she really does do such awesome work for the neurodivergent community and she's brilliant to chat with! | No Baking, All Chaos! With Heather AKA A Bit Of Baking & Chaos! | 05 Jun 2026 | 00:55:42
Heather is the cool, late-diagnosed, childfree millennial aunt you never knew you needed. She runs Bit of Baking and Chaos, sharing the lived experience of ADHD, from managing work and hormones to the everyday chaos of a brain that works a bit differently. Diagnosed in her thirties, she also creates practical resources for people looking for actual answers, not just awareness. I loved recording this episode. Even though it was the first time Heather and I had spoken in person I felt super relaxed with her and I think that really comes across in our chat. It's a sea of tangents and anecdotes. | The Good Sleep Guide For Neurodivergent Kids! With Dr Melisa Moore | 24 Apr 2026 | 00:44:51
Melisa Moore, PhD, is the author of The Good Sleep Guide for Neurodivergent Kids. A clinical psychologist board certified in behavioral sleep medicine, she works at the sleep center at Rady Children's Health San Diego. She also has a practice in the Los Angeles area working with children, teens, and young adults across the country for a variety of sleep and mood issues, specializing in neurodiversity. I've talked so much in previous episodes of the podcast about how difficult and unnatural I've found sleep since I was a child and I know for parents of neurodivergent children, sleep issues can cause huge amounts of stress and upset. Melisa was the perfect person to get on the podcast to talk to about how we can help neurodivergent children with sleep problems and potentially also help ourselves too! Enjoy! | Stimming, Self Regulation, Safe Spaces & Silliness! With Erin Fung! | 17 Apr 2026 | 00:50:56
In possibly my most unmasked and unfiltered episode yet, I've got my bestie, Erin, on to talk about our stims, tics, the ways we self regulate and then a ton of our usual tangents. This episode is a completely natural, unmasked conversation between two really good mates and contains dodgy accents, a load of vocal stims, silly voices and mayhem but hopefully it will be relatable and can help eradicate some of the stigma attached to openly stimming. | S.E.N.D. Help! With AuDHDacious Humans! | 13 Mar 2026 | 00:56:16
Martha and Jenni met as teachers at the same progressive school where their kids were students and became each other's children's key teachers. Jenni ran mini shopping trolley races down corridors with Martha's son for vestibular regulation. Martha provided Jenni's daughters with peanut balls to bounce on so they could focus enough to write and calculate Maths whilst reciting favourite Bluey episodes. Despite 40 years combined teaching experience and knowing exactly what neurodivergent children needed, they both realised their own AuDHD/PDA kids weren't school-shaped. Not even alternative-school-shaped. So over 3 years ago, they left their teaching jobs and the education system and started their real education. When they couldn't find home ed clubs that could accommodate their demand-avoidant children, they created Make & Create Club: a flexible, low-demand space where rule makers, rule breakers thrive. They offer community, advocacy and the freedom to be yourself. Now through AuDHDacious Humans, they provide online support for discombobulated families to understand sensory systems, reframe behaviour, and ditch systems that break them. They've lived this experience too, as late-diagnosed AuDHDers, parenting pressure- sensitive children, unravelling everything they thought they knew about parenting and education. Some people call it a journey. They call it a reckoning. Website: www.audhdacious.com Email: team@audhdacious.com Instagram: @audhdacious.humans Buy your copy of ADHD Magazine here! | Celebrating Our Weird! With Holly Matthews | 20 Feb 2026 | 00:58:44
As we all know, the reason I named the podcast AuDHD Or Just A Bit Weird is because that's what I've always been called throughout my life and always in a derogatory manner... But since starting the podcast I've reclaimed weird as a positive thing and this is where the amazing Holly Matthews comes into the picture... Holly Matthews is a former TV actress (Byker Grove, Waterloo Road, Casualty) and singer (Signed to Sony at 18, appeared on TOTP’s, MTV, Disney) who learnt how to use her ‘weird’ to stand out from the crowd. | Swimming, Feeling Fraudulent & Coaching Coaches With Sally Cater | 13 Feb 2026 | 01:17:26
SO MUCH TO CRAM IN TO ONE EPISODE!!!! But I think I've managed it! There's a mega life update at the beginning and then I had the pleasure this week of chatting with the amazing Sally Cater who is a coach who coaches coaches! I've been keen to find out more about coaching and what training to become one involves and Sally was happy to help me out but as usual with all of my guests, we go off on some fun tangents including swimming in the sea, Sally's impending ADHD assessment, her amazing talent for napping and her brush with the law! (The two hilariously go hand in hand!) In Sally's own words... I spent more than a decade working at the British Red Cross, including training frontline crisis teams to provide psychosocial support in some unbelievably difficult conditions. During this time, I became an Accredited Senior Practitioner Coach with the EMCC and hold the ILM highest level in Advanced Coaching and Mentoring. After striking out on my own as a leadership consultant and executive coach. I combined both my lived experience and formal learning in ADHD with the understanding gained from many years supporting neurodivergent clients to design and deliver an ICF accredited ADHD course for coaches. I really needed the support that ADHD coaching gave me and I know there are loads of brilliant people out there that could really benefit from ADHD coaching and so we need you to be part of that community. With over 2000 hours of coaching across technology, healthcare, and automotive industries, I adopt a whole-self approach to non-directive coaching. I have a strong connection with neurodivergent people, having discovered my own ADHD while coaching a senior leader with ADHD. Buy your copy of ADHD Magazine here! | Here's To Health & Happiness! With Erin Fung | 23 Jan 2026 | 00:58:39
Health anxiety has been something that has monopolized a lot of my thought processes since I was a child and I know many other neurodivergent people who also struggle with this. As my mate Erin is one of those people and she's someone I trust and find it easy to talk to her I knew she was the perfect person to have on the podcast to talk about it, however, our brains had other ideas and at the halfway mark we segued nicely into talking about what makes us happy, learning to allow ourselves to be happy eradicating the shame attached to being drawn to the more traditionally childish and geeky things that we love and that make us super happy! | So Now What?! With Blair Kelly | 10 Jan 2026 | 00:55:43
Approximately 18 billion years ago I had a really good mate called Blair who was a fellow quirky person with an awesome sense of humour and never judged me for being my weirdy self. Over the years we lost touch and I always wondered what became of them... until one day a few weeks ago when Blair turned up in my "people you may know" on Instagram... Without hesitating (naturally impulsive nature anyone?!) I added Blair and got chatting... and would you believe it.... Blair was diagnosed with ADHD 2 days after me!!! I'm thrilled that Blair was happy to come on the podcast so we could catch up and talk about how we are feeling post diagnosis. Please note that this is a very candid chat between two old mates who hadn't seen each other in an age. We cover a ton of topics and I'm so grateful for Blair coming on the podcast to share their story. Blair is a Scottish vocal coach, lecturer, songwriter and performance artist based in South London. They are the founder and artistic director of Errata, London’s Queerest Choir and collaborates frequently with LGBTQIA+ choirs and vocal groups. Blair is currently studying a PhD, creating cabaret performances and is the mother of all cats. The last time Sam and I recorded together (which was meant to be about sex, relationships and gender) we managed to stay on topic for about 45 minutes and then we pretty much forgot we were recording for the next hour or so and as a Christmas gift here's the "best" bits from that previously unreleased part of that conversation. Please bear in mind that this is a chat between two good mates who both have a slightly wicked sense of humour so some of the stuff we say should be taken with a pinch of salt. | Surviving Shutdowns With Chelsea Webster | 14 Nov 2025 | 00:40:27
Chelsea Webster, or as you may know her The Joy Thief on Instagram, is an autistic advocate who founded The Autism Support Group for autistic adults. Through her platform, she shares honest accounts of her lived experience and provides practical advice for the neurodivergent community.
