| Alexandra & Wells Part 1 | 02 oct. 2025 | 00:52:55 | |
Alexandra is the founder of the clothing brand Alexandra & Wells, created in honor of her son, Wells, who tragically passed away in 2019 due to a negligent labor and delivery. In this deeply emotional episode, Alexandra shares Wells’ story publicly for the first time, along with the legal battle that followed as she sought justice for him. Out of her grief, Alexandra built a brand that has reached and comforted thousands of loss moms around the world. Her iconic sweatshirt, Mother of an Angel, was the very first piece of clothing I bought in honor of my son, Brody. I needed the world to know he existed, and wearing it kept him close to me. For that, I will always be grateful to Alexandra and what she has created—something I know countless other mothers feel as well. Her love for her son, and for all of our babies, shines through in everything she does. Alexandra is a true inspiration, turning unimaginable pain into a source of connection, remembrance, and love. | Lara: Losing Malek & Finding Answers | 15 août 2025 | 01:03:24
In this episode, my ATL Loss Mama friend, Lara, tells us about her sweet 1st son Malek who passed at 28 weeks. She has since had her 2nd son Sami who is turning 1. Lara has a rare autoimmune disorder which could possibly play a part in her pregnancies. However, there just isn't much research or information out there. We discuss warning signs, not knowing what they were, lack of information during pregnancy and what that means for subsequent ones.
We hope this shines some light for anyone dealing with similar disease and wanting to bring home living babies.

| Lexi: Leaning into the Pain | 12 juil. 2025 | 00:58:15 | |
After losing her first daughter Lily at birth, Lexi set out to feel it all. To her it was important for her to lean into her pain, her grief, and her motherhood to a baby no longer here. Lexi poured herself into her poetry, that she self published as a way to connect with Lily as well as take time and space to just BE with herself and her pain instead of pushing it away. Since Lily's death, Lexi has since had her little sister Daisy. We talk about the beauty and sadness in raising a living child after loss and the complexity of parenting one here and one in the sky.
You can tell her love for her daughters and the strength she exudes despite her pain is inspiring. Find her book on Amazon "The First 40 Weeks" as well as connect with her on Instagram: @grief.and.lily

| Kate: Grief & Beauty after infant loss | 19 juin 2025 | 01:01:59 | |
In this episode I speak to my girl Kate, her precious son, Cameron James Miranda was born May 4, 2022. He spent 9 days at home before being diagnosed with Enterovirus Myocarditis. He fought for 4 months in the CVICU. Cameron may not physically be here but over the past almost 3 years, her family continues to navigate their grief, honor Cameron, and choose to live a life full of love that they hope he would choose for them. Kate has amazing insight as to how she has managed to live a beauty life along with her profound sadness. I especially love the part where she tells us about cooking her way through an entire cookbook for one year. It's truly inspiring and something I feel a lot of mamas would need to hear. | She's back on her BS | 05 juin 2025 | 00:48:40
I'm back and with a mini "rebrand"...At a Total Loss is now Living the Loss Life because well, that's what I'm doing every single day and I'm here to share it with you. When I first hit record, I was drowning. I had just lost Brody only 4 months prior. I was raw, wrecked, and trying to survive the total devastation of stillbirth. That title—At a Total Loss—fit where I was. But grief doesn’t stay in one place...and neither do we. In losing him, I’ve also gained so much: Perspective. Purpose. A community. A deeper love. A different version of myself. So it’s time, for the podcast to evolve, too. In this episode I fill you in on what's been happening since I took a mini break (whoops) and what's happening next. I had a wild experience in Albania and I finally tell Wolfy's birth story since he turns TWO YEARS OLD on June 6th! holy moly. All of this is to let you know you're not alone no matter what stage you're in. Thank you for staying on this path with me. We’re still grieving. We’re still healing. But now we’re living even though we've lost. 🖤

| Mason Sawyer | 23 janv. 2025 | 00:59:18 | |
Mason of the 10ninety Podcast was the guest speaker at our 2025 raised By angels Charity Gala this past weekend. On July 25, 2021, Mason’s life changed forever when he lost his wife Kortni, son Riggins, and daughter Franki in a devastating car accident. He also lost his older brother, Race, and his nephew, Rider. Now focused on raising his surviving son, Blue, Mason draws strength from the 10/90 Principle, emphasizing that life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you respond. He shares his journey and message of resilience through his podcast, The10ninety, and as a public speaker, inspiring others to find hope and purpose in adversity. This was a *dream* episode as Mason is one of the first voices I heard when searching for guidance after losing Brody. I love this conversation. Two grievers (with very different losses) just speaking raw and unfiltered. | Dr Joanne Cacciatore- Grief Doctor | 09 janv. 2025 | 00:58:27
This is one of THE most powerfully inspiring episodes I've done to date. PLEASE, if you are a loss parent and even if you are not, listen to this episode....Dr. Joanne Cacciatore is a bereaved mother to her daughter Cheyenne born still 30 years ago. She is also the founder of the MISS Foundation, an international NGO that serves families whose children have died. She is also a tenured research professor and senior Wrigley Institute of Sustainability Scholar at Arizona State University, spearheading the Graduate Certificate in Trauma and Bereavement. Her best selling book, Bearing the Unbearable: Love, Loss, and the Heartbreaking Path of Grief, is a national award winning best seller that has helped revolutionize the way our culture thinks, and feels, about grief. She works with and counsels families from all around the world who have experienced catastrophic deaths. Dr. Jo, believing that current practices around food production are a social, ethical, and environmental justice issue, is a vegan and hasn’t eaten meat since 1972. She also teaches meditation, mindfulness, and compassion and ahimsa practices to students and clients from around the world. Dr Jo started The Selah Carefarm just outside of Sedona, AZ. It is the first carefarm for the traumatically bereaved in the U.S. It is a very special place on 20 acres of beautiful farmland where bereaved family members can come to both give and receive connection, compassion, and understanding. All the animals on the carefarm have been rescued from abuse, neglect, torture, or homelessness. Our grieving families know what it means to suffer, and so do these animals.
Dr Jo is truly a power house and a dream guest of mine, I am a different person after getting to speak with her. To get more info on the carefarm: The Selah Carefarm I mention her Open Letter to Grievers. I saved it to my phone screen and read it almost every day after losing Brody. Read it here: Open Letter To Grievers

| Holidays After Loss | 18 nov. 2024 | 01:05:47 | |
*Recoded prior to Halloween*...Holidays after baby loss are so weird. I'll also share insight from other mamas on how they've dealt in the past and the advice they have moving forward. Ways to honor our babies will also be shared as this is a huge struggle, especially in the beginning.
Here's what I tackle:
And holidays change and evolve as time moves forward. I recorded one of these the holidays after I lost Brody. And I'm entering into my 3rd season and things are very different. So no matter what phase you're in, it might help to hear how it does change with time. Main point: YOU'RE SO NOT ALONE
These are my viewpoints and topics that I sought out information about. This is the advice I give and share with you all based off hundreds of conversations I've had. I hope that i helps as we navigate one of the hardest times of the year.

| Lyndsay + Kove | 04 août 2024 | 01:14:03 | |
I chat with Lyndsay about her precious second son, Kove, who was born still at 37 weeks just a little over a year ago. That is when her grief and baby loss journey began. Since then she has started Kove's Keeper, a bereavement care package for parents suffering stillbirth & infant loss in the local hospitals. Devastation has since happened again as Lyndsay suffered a miscarriage since Kove's death. She is now currently pregnant for the 4th time and we discuss the challenges of pregnancy after loss. Lyndsay is also very open about her faith in God & how she has managed this relationship. Lyndsay is a sweet soul just wanting to parent Kove the best way she can and to help other Loss Moms out there. | Catherine: Incompetent Cervix, Placental Abruption & DIC | 07 juil. 2024 | 01:10:39
Catherine is the mother to her TWO angel babies, Brooklyn (11/29/16) and Miles (12/7/17 - 12/14/17) and her now miracle baby, Lux. Catherine's experiences have covered a range of "rare" circumstances. We discuss ALL of it. She has faced an incompetent cervix, placental abruption, disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC), the NICU, a journey with a gestational carrier and miscarriages. After thinking she would never be able to physically carry another baby, she carried her miracle baby, Lux, to 37 weeks in 2021. Almost 8 years after her first loss, she shows us that grief has no expiration and how she includes all of her babies in their family today.

Courtney's precious Conrad was born still after a seemingly perfect pregnancy. Her journey to this point is super insightful and extremely raw. We chat about literally everything in this episode. No really, like, wanna hear 2 loss moms just going IN on this whole situation, this is the episode. Does it sound like we're ranting? GOOD because we are and we are allowed to. Most *normal* mothers do this but with wayyy less intense subject matter. We are keeping it very real here. Here is what else we talk about in this almost 2 HOUR episode...
We just want this to help. You might not agree with everything you hear (that's ok) but at least one little nugget or glimmer is what we're going for here. Find Courtney on Instagram at @courtneydouglascoaching https://www.instagram.com/courtneydouglascoaching/

| Bri: CHD; Ebstein's Anomaly | 21 avr. 2024 | 01:18:19 | |
Bri's daughter Caroline was diagnosed with a rare form of CHD called Ebstein’s Anomaly. Living in Sacramento, her and her husband moved to Stanford to ensure she received the best possible care. After Caroline was born, she spent 27 days fighting for her life until ultimately passing away peacefully in her mother's arms. Among her diagnoses it was also found that she had Pallister-Killian Syndrome (PKS) after she was born. Bri talks about this journey. From finding out about her daughter's rare disorder, to how to proceed, to giving birth to her daughter alive, to then deciding to do surgeries and the days she lived in the NICU. Bri walked away with zero regrets, something a lot of loss momma's wish they could do. Our hope is that this story finds someone who needs to hear it. Bri would love to connect with anyone who can resonate with Caroline's story or needs guidance navigating their own. But no matter what your experiences are, it helps to hear about how to cope, how to hold onto hope, and how you are anything but alone. Information on Ebstein's Anomaly: HERE

| 4 Types of Relationship Loss | 14 avr. 2024 | 00:33:32 | |
Loss of relationships is a HUGE topic after baby death. In this episode, I break down the 4 categories of family & friend relationship loss that I see and hear about all the time. 1) People who choose to exit your life 2) Toxic people who you choose to separate from 3) Good intentioned people who just don't see your loss the same 4) Awesome people whose stage of life is too hard to be around. I break each of these down and also dig into the fact that we have to take into accountability our own behaviors. It's a sticky situation and one that no one tells us how to navigate. i hope to shine light on this, help you feel less alone, and to potentially guide you in a way that helps you navigate it all. | Making Decisions After Loss | 07 avr. 2024 | 00:25:55
I'm tackling the topic of having to make decisions after loss. While some don't think this is an issue, Loss Moms find it to be a massive one. Especially when it comes to PAL, babies, loved ones, & anything having to do with choices. \Loss changes us radically. So much so that everything becomes a matter of life & death even if it's a casual situation. The weight of having to make choices is almost paralyzing sometimes. Here I dive into it and shed some light on how I feel about it and what others I've spoke to feel as well. Hope it helps!

| Sharon: Psychic Medium | 24 mars 2024 | 01:08:26 | |
Sharon's life changed forever with the tragic death of Matthew, her only child, when he was just 17 years old. She felt she had no purpose and became angry and lost. She then consulted with many mediums and received validating messages, proving that Matthew was still “alive” and was helping from the other side. Sharon realized that we all have the natural ability to communicate with our loved ones in spirit and that she too could become a medium. This was her destiny, and a way to make some sense out of her tragedy by helping others.
This episode is Sharon's perspective on life after death and how our loved ones are still with us. Many Loss Mommas seek out the guidance of psychic mediums. So if you have ever been curious, here is a glimpse of what to expect if you work with one like Sharon. Her perspective is inspiring and for anyone who needs a reminder of how to keep going, Edlyn is it. If she can, we can too. This story is not to tell you not to have hope. Anna joins me to talk about her beautiful daughter Evie, who was born still after a uterine abruption. Anna's pregnancies have been extremely high risk and accepting that it was ultimately too dangerous to carry again, she decided to contact a surrogate, or in this case a gestational carrier. She explains to us the complicated journey of finding one and going through the entire process. We hope that this sheds light on a topic that is rather common within the loss community but that we find isn't spoken about as much. *Please note that this was recorded after the ruling in Alabama therefore we do not discuss this topic.

| Dr Jason Collins: Umbilical Cord Specialist | 18 févr. 2024 | 01:15:50 | |
Dr. Jason Collins is the founder of the Pregnancy Institute. His career and passion has focused on stillbirth, umbilical cord accidents and umbilical cord pathology. Dr. Collins has been researching cord issues and deaths for over 20 years. His professional opinions come from evidence based facts, which you will hear throughout this entire episode. He continues his research into these tragic losses and would love to connect with newly bereaved parents to help them find answers as well as navigate subsequent pregnancies. *NOTE: You will hear us referencing images and documents. If you'd like to see them while listening to this episode, go to my Youtube page to watch the video of this recording. YouTube If you'd like to speak with Dr Collins, you can email him here: jcollinsmd77@gmail.com **This information is not intended to vilify medical professionals. It is strictly educational to point out the lack of education on umbilical cords and how we as bereaved mothers can get answers and advocate for ourselves in the event our providers do not have the understanding needed. Always consult with your medical professional, but also, arm yourself with your own education and knowledge.

| Maternity Leave Policies & Returning to Work After Loss | 26 janv. 2024 | 00:47:43 | |
Liz's son, Harrison, was stillborn at full term. She joins me in discussing her experiences in her workplace with maternity leave policy and what that looked like. When she found that the terms were not even in place for mothers who didn't get to bring their baby home, she did a ton of research and went to bat for herself and her son, Harrison. She gives some recommendations on how you too can approach your company to try to make change happen. We also talk about returning to work and the different ways you can handle it. Going back to work is scary. It's a place where you were at pregnant and happy. Going back after your baby dies seems like going back in time where nothing happened. It's weird and it's a little jarring. Some don't ever want to return and some want to go back ASAP for the distraction. Whatever you feel, it's normal and in this episode we discuss it all. We hope it helps! To get some guidance from Liz on how to handle your workplace policy, message her on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/lizmyers19/ Or on Instagram @lizmyers19

| Your Baby's Birthday | 20 janv. 2024 | 00:40:55 | |
In this episode, I answer your questions and concerns regarding your baby's birthday. I also give perspective on the difference in Brody's 1st Birthday and his 2nd that we just experienced yesterday. Along with all of this, I read to you some examples of what other parents do on their baby's birthday to help give you some ideas or to help normalize what you'd like to or are already doing. It's a tough topic, and it's not easy being a parent to a dead child. We are doing our absolute best. I hope this episode sheds some light on the subject and helps guide you through the 1st, 2nd or whatever year it is if you need some insight. | Support Guide | 11 janv. 2024 | 00:20:18
At the request of many, Liz and I created this short episode to share with those in your circle. We answer your Instagram submissions on what you want others to know. So many times support people just have no idea how to navigate this and in the thick of grief, loss parents don't have the words to tell them. Well, we hope that this episode can be shared with those that are looking for ways to help or maybe a guide on what NOT to do. Loss Parents, this is also a great episode to help validate how you're feeling in response to how others are treating the death of your baby. We are here to help you realize you are not alone in how you feel and maybe suggest some ways that you can give to those around you that would better help. Support people are our lifeline during the darkest times a human can experience. So if you are a support person, thank you for even listening to try to help. We can't do it without good support and love. Liz and I are brutally honest and we of course are only speaking from our own opinions and experiences. Not speaking for everyone out there. In the 100s of conversations I've had with loss parents, I can tell you that these are the most popular things that they want support people to know. We hope it helps! | Pregnancy After Loss: Gender Disappointment | 05 janv. 2024 | 00:45:01
Liz (from episode 1 and 30) is back to discuss this taboo topic of "Gender Disappointment" during PAL. This is a topic we get asked about A LOT. Now, I don't love this phrase but it's general and we understand what it means without further explanation. I'd like to say it's more like Gender Processing because there's definitely a reaction to having the opposite sex of the baby you lost. We dive into the dark, the ugly, the things we only say to each other. Grief is a big topic we discuss as well as how we handled PAL. We LOVE our babies, however, there are moments that we have to process not having the "picture" we always thought we had. We are open and honest about this and we hope it helps. This is REAL TALK, mommas! Hit up Liz on IG @lizmyers19

| Intimacy & Sex After Loss | 28 déc. 2023 | 00:48:07 | |
Amanda Louder is a Certified Sex & Marriage Coach who helps men & women overcome their obstacles to create a more emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and physically intimate relationship. She speaks from her own Christian faith lens for those who want to involve their Christianity in their coaching. We discuss a topic that I feel doesn't get addressed: Intimacy after loss and the challenges it brings including TTC after loss. Amanda is also the host of the Sex for Saints Podcast where she discusses literally everything she possibly can regarding sex coaching. We talk about it ALL. Nothing was off the table. Everything from hating our bodies after it was supposed to take care of our babies, to how trauma affects our libido, to becoming consumed with wanting to get pregnant again ASAP, to communicating how we feel to our partners and finally, how to reconnect with them. Amanda is gentle and kind in her approach and has helped so many people regain their intimacy after their baby died. She provides a safe space to discuss this vulnerable topic. Y'all will learn SO much from this episode! So interesting! If you'd like to get in touch with Amanda, find her on Instagram and mention this podcast episode! @christiansexcoach

| Jeanette + Sabrina: 40 years later | 14 déc. 2023 | 00:52:40 | |
This momma's beautiful daughter was stillborn in 1985. Her perspective ranges over 40 years and she gives insight on what she did and didn't do over the years. We talk about shame behind stillbirth, fear of telling people about them, bringing them through the years and trying to honor them privately.
This is incredible insight from a momma who has done this for decades. If you are a momma who lost years ago, please reach out to her. She is looking to now talk about Sabrina more, help others in this situation, and talk to mommas who may struggle with their grief so long after.

| Casey + Charlotte | 30 nov. 2023 | 00:51:35 | |
Casey tells us about her beautiful daughter, Charlotte, who was stillborn at 39 weeks from what she feels was a failed induction. She walked into the hospital with a perfectly healthy baby, was heavily monitored but ended up leaving heartbroken without her daughter. It’s been over 2 years and Casey now hopes to find other loss moms that share her experience of losing her daughter during labor. If you are a momma that has a similar story, please reach out to Casey. We also discuss:
