Questions & Answers period at The Designers Meetup event in its first session about branding with Tarek El-Zeeny, Mahmoud Hassan, Ahmed Gad and Akram William, Moderated by our host Marwan Ramadan

Started his career as an author and a comics illustrator back in 1997, He shifted his career to Graphic

Design in 2002, his passion into creativity grow in developing visual brand identities in a way that directly supports art.

Worked in multiple firms for years as a Graphic Designer then an Art Director and a Creative Director, then back again to freelancing world.

Tarek designed and developed many brand marks along with its visual identity for more than ten years.

He lectured in many workshops in universities and embassies as well as participating in events related to logo and visual identity industry in Egypt.

Founded Zeeny Design House L.L.C. in 2014 to further expand this field, Building on the true presence in the arab and international markets, Zeeny Studios also seeks to contribute to developing the skills of creating a good brand marks and visual identities.

Mahmoud Hassan is a graphic designer who has over 8 years of experience in logo& identity design. Mostly he does identity development for startups. However, he worked with big clients like Canon, Saudi Arabia’s ministry of health, The World Bank, Qatar skydive,Red bull, and many others. On the side he is interested in Arabic typography and illustration. He is the co-founder of “khatt + tasmeem” workshop. Its main focus was to teach typography to designers. Proved successful, it had many rounds.He Created Graphic design courses Such as Logo Crafting to serve the community and spread the knowledge about graphic design. Mahmoud  is also a design blogger who generally writes articles about graphic design Branding Reviews and Design history.

Akram  William is a Cairo based artist greatly inspired by cartoons, retro  culture and designer toys, he left his life of being a pharmacist after  having no clue what he is actually selling and started pursuing his  passion of making colorful nonsense as the owner of FatHead studio

Ahmed  Gad is a designer and art director with a reductive and modernist  visual identities, skilled in branding development and visual  communication. he worked with matter branding for a wide range of   brands. such as, Fresh Food Market, Pepsi, Nestle, Sodic .. etc.
