They managed to survive 11 months, only to be executed somewhere between Thursday and Friday by their captors. Born to a drug-addicted, homeless mother in California, Rob was passed around 7 foster homes and grew to become a rowdy teenager. He turned his life around when he joined the Air Force after high school, and ultimately was accepted into Yale for his BA and earned his PhD in Psychology from the University of Cambridge.
