Chapter 2 Ep. 42 It’s November!01 Nov 202400:56:32
I start the show with a bunch of terrible Fall puns, and talk about the date for the next Patreon Poker Game. The magazine will be out within the week as well. Elle and I talk Halloween, BetRivers Poker, the Foxens and the Sphere on "Table Talk" Then Elliott talks philosophy of Pot Limit and No Limit games in "Call the Floor". On this week's "HOTW" segment Patrick and I play AQ off suit from the cutoff, before I end the show with "Joe's One Outer". This week I talk about the importance of believing in yourself. Chapter 2 Ep. 41 Bigger Boat25 Oct 202400:59:13
I start the show talking about the Patreon Game from last night and Mal Embarkment or Dis-embarkment syndrome. I literally left after recording the intro to pick Elle up from the airport. She joined me for "Table Talk" where we discuss the Sahara closing their poker room, and a study by BetMGM about online casino games. It looks like we may be making a trip next year to the Irish Poker Open, and we talked about what may be my new playground with Bally's building a hotel/casino connected to the new A's stadium in Vegas. ***Disclaimer*** I said I was going to root for the Yankees in the World Series, but actually I think I'm just going to root for the whole series end in a tie somehow. This week's "Call the Floor" involves a high hand promotion and whether the winner of the high hand actually made the call or not. Our "HOTW" is a crazy one when we flop a full house with the Big Blind special. Then I end the show with my "One Outer" reminding everyone on a poker vacation to remember the vacation part of that equation. Click here for our Linktree. It is a quick resource to get you to our magazine, podcast, YouTube, and more. Ante Up Poker Cruise Click here for our Patreon page, where you can support the show and gain access to our monthly Private game. Check out Jackpot Digital, our HOTW sponsor with the perfect E-Table. Chapter 2 Ep. 32 Poker Mentors?23 Aug 202401:02:00
I start the show with a call to all listeners. We would love to have you as an Ante Up Ambassador. On "Table Talk" Elle and talk about a lot of poker that's going on and how we have been kind of mentoring a college student and giving some free advice to listeners and family members that ask for it. The key is that they ask for it. (More on that later.) "Call the Floor" has Elliott ruling on a lot of things going on at the poker table. It starts with a player that says he want to raise "by" $105, but ends up raising "to" $105. It only gets worse from there. For the second week in a row Patrick and I break down a pocket pair UTG on the "HOTW" segment. This time we have pocket Kings. Then I end the show talking mentor or know-it-all in "Joe's One Outer".
