The Gourmands have caught up to this season of Tanya so far, and we needed to discuss it!

We caught up to this season's Mushoku and are ready to talk about our highlights... in this mostly slice of life focused season, lol. Oh well, we did the best we could, haha. Tanya the Evil is next.

One of the wildest Wild Card Rounds we've had, but it was certainly worth watching a season's worth of anime in one go. Long one today, but hopefully that means you guys will be entertained for longer, lol.

APOLOGIES for the up and down audio quality, we recorded each segment on different days and one of the days recordings got corrupted somehow. Luckily, I usually record a backup version, but I guess I hadn't updated the backup's recording quality in a while... so my bad, lol.

A lot of wanting this episode, hahaha. We go through the three episodes required to determine whether or not we will continue watching, plus we determine our wild card selections!

Gooooooood day! One of the final reviews from the Spring 2026, Ramparts of Ice is a very good, realistic depiction of high school drama, and the tension you feel from it. If you're a fan of the isolated episodes, please let me know!

Kevin and Angel have very tepid opinions regarding this season of Daemon's but how much does that affect their rating?

Kevin, Tanner, and Angel all talk about Witch Hat. However, we had to record separately from each other due to scheduling, so if this episode sounds like two different episodes pieced together.... that's cause they are hahaha. Still tons of fun, tons of great insight by the crew. Hope you like it.

Anime Expo is almost here! The first half of the episode is about us trying to share what we are most excited about from the schedule that has been released so far (as of this recording). The second half is where we get into the nitty gritty as to what tips and tricks we have up our sleeves in order to "survive" Anime Expo 2026.

The Crunchyroll Awards were frustrating to talk about. So frustrating, we had to scrap an episode featuring them. So instead, I went ahead and "fixed" the issues I had with the awards. Did I succeed? Definitely not, but it was much more fun to talk about as a podcast!

Wild card round of the mid-season reviews, and we have quite a doozy. Nippon Sangoku: The Three Nations of the Crimson Sun, Kill Blue, Go For It Nakamura-kun!, and An Observation Log of My Fiancée Who Calls Herself a Villainess all received 3 episode reviews, and I must say, the 2 that pass may or may not surprise you... If you missed the season preview and aren't able to decipher what anime are being covered this week, fret not. There are three important things that every gourmand should do at the beginning of every new year: reflect on the past year, plan for the future, and promise to better yourself. The boys and I tackle the new year head on, and have a bunch of fun doing so!

We also review Sanda, Yano-kun, Status as an Assassin, and Dusk Beyond the End of the World in their totality.

Yooooo, season 3 of JJK is right around the corner, and the advanced screening of the first couple episodes came out in theaters. To celebrate, we devised a JJK based game with the entire gourmand crew, before Angel and I review what we watched in theaters. Chainsaw Man is back with a BOMB-bastic movie to start off the next chapter of Chainsaw action. We very tiredly and incorrectly recall the events and details of not only the movie, but from the anime that came out 3 years ago.

Holy Moly, what a title. Definitely the closest I have ever gotten to hitting the character limit, lol. Lots to discuss, so what are you reading this for, listen to the episode already.

The Gourmands are back to peruse the menu for this season's new shows, as well as talk about continuing series' that we are excited for! For newcomers, we read the synopsis of the shows that we will be reviewing throughout the course of the season, as well as look at potential contenders for our wild card special in a few weeks. We are looking forward to another wonderful season of anime!

The anime this week were interesting in very different ways; horror and wholesome appears to be the theme this season. We also decide what the wild cards are, with some surprise picks from the crew.
