W ogólnym przekazie dotyczącym odchudzania, teoretycznie mówi się, że to się robi - dla zdrowia. I automatycznie utratę masy ciała traktujemy jako coś pozytywnego, a sam proces jej utraty jako coś posiadającego pozytywny wpływ na stan naszego ciała i naszego zdrowia.
