West Passage Oyster Company29 avr. 202200:57:03
Dotting the surface of the water in a cove along the West Passage sits line after line of oysters. With the spring thaw in full effect, it's hard not to get excited about the warmer weather. Reminiscing about the times that we can spend back out on the banks of the river or on the bow of a skiff casting away and waiting for something to bite. No matter the style of fishing you prefer, it's hard not to appreciate the art of fly fishing. It is said that success lies when the practice meets patience, the same is true when comes to fly fishing and even more so when you start a fly fishing company. Today, we tune into Salt Lake City, Utah, and chat with Adam Hudson, the founder of Blue Line co., and how he went from selling cars and hedgehogs to creating a fly company that has taken the internet by storm.  Blue Line Co https://bit.ly/3uqB1eT Newsletter Sign up: https://bit.ly/3Dpg2vJ Connect with ATK… Instagram https://bit.ly/3iLzmtJ Facebook https://bit.ly/3tRCquu LinkedIn https://bit.ly/3IQHsvI Learn more about your ad choices. Toadfish11 févr. 202200:49:06

The side hustle quickly became his main hustle and before long Casey would become responsible for a company that is crafting high-quality coastal goods with an incredible purpose. Choona: Kurt Tobias17 déc. 202101:13:19
Leaving his home state of Virginia, Kurt Tobias and his wife moved down to Florida’s Emerald Coast, pursuing what he thought would be a dream job. Late nights and early mornings after work and in-between training sessions, Kurt slowly built Choona before flipping the bird to corporate life and chasing the waterways less navigated. He set out to create a brand that puts purpose before process and yet, despite all common practice, creates some of the most comfortable “out leisure” (athleisure, but outdoors) on the market. Choona isn't just slapping logos on Tees, but reinventing coastal apparel and giving back to the community along the way. Not only is the majority of the apparel made right here in the USA, but every stitch is ethically sourced with sustainable materials. If you weren't already excited to meet Kurt, with every garment sold, Choona donates 5 meals to an orphanage in Nicaragua. That and much more on this episode of Along the Keel. Just like peanut butter and jelly, fenders, and a boat go hand in hand. Chances are, on any vessel, big or small, you will find a pair of fenders stowed away. Although important to any boat, they don’t always look great and, in some cases, can create scuff marks on your hull. Adam and Glenn decided to give fenders a bit of a makeover, using high-quality materials, unmatched service, and the ability to customize them. Learn more about your ad choices. #037 Turtle Box Audio04 nov. 202000:48:34
What happens when four Texans break every outdoor speaker on the market. Well, today I had the pleasure of speaking with one of the co-founders, John McKenzie about how Turtle Box came to be. Given that these friends loved a rugged adventure in the Texas backcountry or sail on Galveston Bay a speaker was always in tow. So, taking to the drawing board and a few renditions later the bachelors and now family men created the most durable, indestructible, and for lack of a better term badass speaker on the market. This thing is built for any adventure and the sound quality is no joke either. Whether you want a rock concert at the sandbar or some folk music around a campfire the Turtle Box can deliver.   I hope you enjoy this episode of the podcast and please be sure to subscribe to the show and leave a review.  Learn more about your ad choices.
