The Circle is Now Complete: A Tribute to James Earl Jones
A very sad week for cinema and Star Wars fans in particular, as we mark the passing of acting titan James Earl Jones.
We are hurting, but we find some joy in celebrating a wonderful body of work and a voice which has evoked terror in Rebel scum (and a nascent Hutch) for over four and a half decades, with its terrifying honey.
The tribute is rounded off as we each select our top three Vader quotes and discuss their magnificence.

I've Been Waiting For You - Holidays, Borderlands and Star Wars updates
After a long summer break, the boys are back, recharged and raring to go.
There’s lots to catch up on, much of it Christopher Nolan related of course, as Hutch seems to theme his holidays around the man.

The Acolyte Roundup: Which is the Best Star Wars Series?
So The Acolyte is now complete and we can finally review the series as a whole, without any further speculation or assumption.
Much like a spaghetti western, it's a case of The Yord, The Bazil and The Jecki. We talk about what worked for us, what definitely didn't, and what we would like to see from a second season.
Then it's rank o' clock, as we put together our own official and definitive list of Star Wars live action series, in order of best to worst. Where does The Acolyte feature?

Like bored Gods, Steff and Hutch pick two small changes each to make to the sacred timeline, and then discuss the possible ramifications of their meddling. Sliding doors and lovely little butterfly effects abound, as the enormous consequences play out for your amusement.
High brow concepts like destiny and fate are considered, but then discarded like a lightsaber that a stranger kindly returned to you on your island retreat.
But the bottom line is this: Lucasfilm need our boys' creative genius and they need it now.
