Do you have a figure or figures that you love but the rest of the world hates? For me, I really enjoy the MPG trainbots. I haven’t combined them and even broke one early on but got a free replacement. I just love their blocky-goofiness. As a masterpiece, they suck, but are fine for Chug.
Is anyone getting the magic square Grimlock? I have all the recolors for the newage dinobots, minus clear and love them; however, the MS one just looks better in the dino mode. I’m tempted to get a set of MS dinobots for dino mode and use the newage for bot.
Rich mentioned the constant upgrading that comes with buying mainline and I personally hate it. I really wish that Hasbro would have a collector line that is smaller than masterpiece. These figures could be the definitive screen representation of characters. I’d expect a premium price and everything that goes along with it: better paint, accessories, and articulation. There are some Studio Series figures out now that I think would work. The new Ultra Magnus is perfect. Studio Series Hot Rod is close but needs better paint. Kingdom Rodimus doesn’t work because of the robot mode being off. Any thoughts? Would any of you be into something like this?
Finally, what is the most expensive figure you ever broke? I broke the new MP-44 toy version during the transformation the day I got him. The paint on the windshield panel was so thick that it snapped. Luckily Amazon Japan sent me a free replacement.

Hello Mr All Hail. Thanks for reading my question on your last episode about which of your transformer collection you’d save in a fire and if you’d keep collecting. Rich asked for my answer so here it goes. I may just save my G1 Jazz I had as a kid because he was my favorite growing up and no, I would probably end my collecting if everything turned to ash. There would be a Ryan BF (before fire) and Ryan AF (after fire).
New question for this week: What was the most egregious thing you did to your transformers growing up that makes you cringe now as an adult collector? Sorry if this is a duplicate question, I really only listen to the podcast episodes that Rich is on.
Hello Mr. All Hail. Short time listener, first time writer. I’m curious, if your house was on fire and you only had one chance to save one thing in your transformers collection what would it be and why (assume your family and pets already were safe outside the house). Also, after your entire collection is gone except for that one thing, would you look to rebuild your collection or just be done with collecting?

First, love the podcast. I really wish you’d record more episodes.
Second, how do you guys fight the collecting everything? I have been collecting for my entire life and seriously don’t know how to focus my collection. I have mainline, legends and masterpiece. I like aspects of each and don’t think I choose only one to collect. The problem is that I have so much that barely of it is on display at the moment. Right now I try to buy what I like, which is still too much.
Finally, do you think that fans toys prices are getting out of hand? I canceled so many preorders because of the jump in price. I don’t think I can justify over a grand for Devastator. I know superion and menasaur are close to that price now, but I have already invested most of that money.

As a long time listener (well back in the shattered cast days) and first time corresponder I just gotta say I do look forward to my fortnightly dose of mayhem you guys provide... but I digress. I need a question. So, is anyone keeping up with the new Skybound comic? I've only seen bits and pieces, but it seems like they're at least doing their own thing with it so far. Getting individual issues down here can be a pain in the dick too but I'll probably have a look at the trades when they start to appear. Anyway, I won't keep ya's, but I appreciate the efforts.
